I thought that was a very informative and enjoyable Vlog - and such beautiful castle ruins. We've had a fascinating variety of video's in February and I'm really looking forward to the next crop. Well done and thank you.

Thank you so much Malcolm - glad you enjoyed it. Yes, weather willing, there will be a variety of different videos from right across the Westcountry in March. Take care, Paul 👍

That was excellent Paul! Such a brilliant location to film at!
Omg.. I could so relate to things you said about filming and speaking to camera in public! I find the same ..particularly in the quiet busy or busy quiet type places.
All your videos are so well researched and so well presented and it’s fantastic to see your TH-cam journey from the first video up until now!
Congratulations too on those incredible numbers and milestones! Totally deserved!
It would be really interesting to know how many hours research, filming, editing, travelling etc you have done too! It must add up to huge amounts of hours for each!
Thank you so much for mentioning my comment and linking to my channel. Very much appreciated!

Thank you so much Louise! That's very kind of you. I dread to think just how many hours I have spent researching, writing scripts, planning walks, travelling, filming, photography and editing since I have started on TH-cam - it would run in to many 1,000s of hours I would think! But, I have really enjoyed it and it has helped me both with my mental health and with my confidence too. Thanks so much for your support too - it has been invaluable. Take care, Paul 🙂👍

Hello Paul - greetings from Poland
Vlog No.19 was superb! What a brilliant location. I t was lovely to reminiss about Februarys videos. However, Marchs upcoming videos sound really exciting.
I too remember your very first video from Dartmouth. You've certainly progressed very successfuly since then, into a superb producer of brilliant and always interesting videos. See you again very soon. Stay safe please

Thanks very much Michael and thank you for your continued support too. Glad you enjoyed my latest vlog. Yes, it was a pleasure to film around the castle and as you saw I pretty much had the place to myself. Thanks again, take care, Paul 🙂👍

Nice video Paul and I appreciate the mention. As for John Challis, he did live in Wigmore Hall and the television series "The Green Green Grass" (2005-2009) was filmed there inside his house. I also follow Louise as I do like the west country scenes.

Ah, thank you for the additional information Alice! That's really interesting that the series was filmed inside his own house. Glad you enjoyed my monthly vlog. Take care, Paul 🙂👍

You packed such a lot of history into the 1st part of the video.
I can’t believe that I only found your channel 1 month ago( not even quite a month) - I feel I have been watching you for ages! Think this is down to your welcoming presentation. Loved that Lyme Regis video in the winter sunshine. I have been watching some recent videos too - you make it sound easy to start up a channel- but your filming is methodical and studied compared with some I view. I vote ( if viewers are allowed to) for Wells. (A certain famous American vlogger visited recently)

Thank you Diana! That's a lovely comment. Yes, I have been to the City of Wells a couple of times before - it is a great place. If I don't cover it in March (and I really haven't decided yet), I do hope to do videos on all of the cities that I mentioned at some point (I have done a couple on Plymouth previously, but there is a lot there that I have not yet covered). Yes, I really enjoyed making the Lyme Regis one, and I hope to be back on the Jurassic Coast again soon. Thanks so much, take care, Paul.

Wigmore Castle was a brilliant base for your vlog. It has been a busy month for you, considering that it is still winter.

Thank you Faith! Yes, a fairly busy month in February; for the time of year, I think the weather was relatively dry and mild compared with previous years. This was indeed a lovely location for both filming and photography - so.peaceful and quiet as well as lovely backdrop landscape views. Got to find somewhere for March now! Thanks again, take care, Paul 👍❤️

Another great watch Paul great place to visit. I to struggle with losing my wife last May. Find it hard to get myself out and about. But hopefully things will improve so i can get out and enjoy those wonderful locations. All the best Paul thank you for sharing.

Thank you John. Yes, I know that getting out and about is not always easy for everyone. Sometimes, my mental health restricts my driving, and I then rely on walks from home in Gloucestershire, particularly walking by the canal and up onto the Cotswold Hills. Thanks again, take care, Paul.

Hi Paul, well done for reaching all those TH-cam milestones👏👏👏.
I watched and commented on your first one in Dartmouth, I think TH-cam may not alert you to them as occurred with Micheal. it's interesting to see the development in your channel as I watch in chronological order. The quality in the photography was immediately noticeable and very quickly you gained confidence in the presentation.
You certainly got some videos out this month, thanks very much for the mentions on my comments. I enjoy watching and noting things down and searching out things and commenting.
I forgot to mention that in the north of Spain a significant part of the railway network is narrow gauge, I think due to the mountainous terrain.
Wigmore castle certainly tells some significant parts of English history, a great place to do your vlog. It reminded me a bit of Corfe castle, now that would be a great place to a video, it's even got a mainline connection now.
    All the best!!

Hi David, yes, I have got Corfe Castle and Swanage Steam Railway on my (very long!) video to do list. It is a fantastic location, although it can get a little busy in season. I didn't know about the narrow gauge railway in Spain - I do hope to film one (narrow gauge railway) in Worcestershire over the coming few months. Thank you for your very kind words. I am in a very chilly Cornwall at the moment trying to put something together for later in March. Thanks for your continuing support. Apologies if I did not reply to your Dartmouth video comment - yes, sometimes YT doesn't send me a notification on older videos - and sometimes it will send me a notification several months later, as happened recently! Thanks again, take care, Paul 👍🙂

Yes, we too are suffering this cold blast. It's freezing down here and has been snowing heavily in Majorca, you wouldn't think so but it does snow there each year but it has been exceptional these last few days.
I write from Ronda tomorrow is a regional holiday so we took today off as well and came down here for a long weekend. Very interesting place to visit, we've visited a cave system with cave paintings (which houses 18,000 bats), a water mine 300' deep and two hundred steps, walked through the old town and seen the carnival procession. I've posted some photos.
No need to apologise, I know you acknowledge all your comments, TH-cam is a great program but it's not perfect.
Look forward to your narrow gauge railway visit
      All the best

    Wigmore Castle has been deliberately
preserved as a 'romantic ruin' (although
made structurally sound by English Heritage)
A great haven for wildlife too
Another similar structure in the same area is Longtown Castle built within the rectangular
base of a long abandoned Roman fort
