I need to visit! Just traced my ancestry back to the Mortimer line... Actually much further back than that, but that's my relation to this site in particular...
Thanks for the great comment! Theres so many amazing places in the UK, if you ever visit feel free to drop me a message for some recommendations :) I've got some other videos from some different places such as more castles, feel free to check them out :) Thanks again!
Hi I live around the Welsh Shropshire border I take my children and now my grandchildren Around small castle Well you have to use your imagination a lot of the time As it’s usually a hill in a couple of Stones Please do more 🙂
Not a presenter in sight , fantastic, pity so little is left , to me it looks as if it was deliberately destroyed , those walls are so thick , but most of the fortifications left no longer fortify ! As a child I used go with my father exploring castles in the Wye valley , my rascally welsh ancestors meant that Norman marcher barons built castles to live in all over the place !
Wigmore castle is in the county of Herefordshire, Close to the Shropshire border.
Exactly!

Comment pretty good...history fantastic.....only, please, shoot the same video in sunshine. I can barely see anything.
Fear is a weapon. Imagine the life of the locals that built it for them, under the fear of god and guns.
