      It is really easy to brainwash people and almost impossible to reprogram them once they are misled.

    I hear that one from time to time and always press the person for details. When he could not produce any, he changed the subject to how my Tesla is really coal-powered.

    Good work. Maybe some of the unintelligent people sharing the FUD can see that there’s no diesel generators there.

    The ignorance of a lie travels way faster than the truth, plus the gasholes have to ensure as the great dinosaur they survive

      Thanks for watching. Once someone believes a lie, no amount of truth can ever make them change their minds.
      Examples: EV fire risk is 1/61 of gas cars per capita.
      And my favorite. You will freeze to death in an EV if ever stranded. I made a video debunking that one too if you want to watch it. th-cam.com/video/q5fdYYMuQaI/w-d-xo.html

    In 2015, they did actually use deisel generators at that location. It was before the solar was installed and the local providor couldn't provide the necessary voltage. I was there for the battery swap demos and saw and heard them myself. But, progress is constantly being made and when that SC was built, it was very early in the development of the infrastructure that we have now. They did what they had to do, and without taking those early steps, we wouldn't be where we are now.

      Moral of the story. Everyone sharing this rumor is a liar. A temporary generator to back up the grid 8 years ago does not = Tesla using diesel to power it today. The article was written Sept 2023 and people spreading this propaganda know it. It is time to fight back against misinformation.

    Those are the new chargers at Harris Ranch. The older chargers are across the street sharing the parking area with the restaurant. When I charged there, I charged at the old one. IF there is a generator there, it is a backup so there can be charging if the power is out. When I charged there, it was on regular charger grid power.

    • @mountainmantesla4395
      @mountainmantesla4395  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The old ones were all tore up and flagged off with caution tape. I couldn't get into that area anymore. After looking into it I found out that There was a scheduled grid upgrade being done back in 2015 and the power was going to be off for a bit while this happened. So either Tesla or Harris Ranch or the power company (Nobody knows for sure) brought in a massive generator to backup the grid for a short time. I imagine it is because there is the biggest solar farm I have ever seen, just down the road. It goes for miles in every direction.

      Thanks, I was on my way back from the Cybertruck event anyways. Otherwise I live 300 miles from there and wouldn't have done it.
      But this story pops up every year and hopefully people subscribe and keep it in their pockets so they can debunk the myth each time.

    If there is a diesel back up generator there its a backup and you wont here it since it will only power on when there is power loss from main supply. -❤commercial electrician

    • @mountainmantesla4395
      @mountainmantesla4395  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As an electrician you would also know that it would be almost the size of a Semi trailer to run just a few of those chargers and would need about 10 to run the 104 chargers in that location. And it would be pretty hard to hide. The reason they aren't in the video, is because they don't exist. One supercharger draws 250kw if power. You just can't hide something that size.
      Tesla doesn't use generators as backups they use Megapacks which store solar produced during the day and each one provides 3.9 megawatt hours of backup. Just down the road there is a massive solar farm with storage. And when I say massive....it is miles long by miles wide.

      I thought about that but I didn't want the clickbait people to make money off me bringing attention to them. It has been reposted by dozens of people including SFgate. If you google "Largest EV Charging Station In World Powered By Diesel-Powered Generators" if will come up. It is by Cowboy state daily.

      If you are afraid of a Tesla fire then gas cars must scare you to death since they are 61x more likely to have a fire per Capita.
      Just Google EV fires vs ICE.
