Thank you, Scott, this pump repair saved me time and money (a toothpick stuck binding the Impeller) and came just in time 3 days before Christmas. I was in the process of ordering a new pump but no one could deliver for a week. Thanks again and Happy Holidays
@@glennharston2558 Awesome! I am glad the video helped with your repair. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. It is always nice to know when a video helps folks out.
Thanks. I try to put together some instructional videos when I think it might be helpful to someone or if there are not a lot of videos on the project at hand. I appreciate you checking out the video and leaving a comment.
You got by pretty lucky, could have been all of the parts needing replacement. I saw Kerri in the background, I have much better success if my wife is not involved, she offers a lot of advice.
I don't like having to repair my own appliances but it does save money. Kerri is pretty good at not getting involved. Especially when I start throwing tools in frustration! 🤪
@@bgregg55 Good luck with your project. I will have to go back and look at the screens or strainers at the bottom to see how that piece could have got in there.

Like your video you may want to invest in a head light. Has made all my work easier

Poor filtering design if a piece that large can enter. I get to remove my drain pump today. What fun.
Good luck with your repair. Hopefully the video helped.
You ain't lying about that! How could an item that big bypass both the top and 'fine' filters?

@@alexmartin900 I will have to go back and look at the strainers or screens at the bottom to see how something like that could get through.
