I have that Zenith, and it's my favorite watch. Really recommend looking at it if you've got the wrist for it. Virtually illegible but weirdly that makes it even cooler.
Personally, the black dial Explorer 2 16570 is my pick for a go anywhere do anything watch. It’s 40mm in diameter, thin enough to be worn under any dress shirt sleeve but sporty enough to be worn with Tshirts and jeans/shorts, discreet enough to fly under the radar, AND it has the flyer GMT function for when I’m travelling.
As a Seiko addict and if budget is less than 10K I would go for a GS Diver watch , to be honest my Grail watch the sbga463g with the Spring Drive !!!!!!!
Great set of 10. However, instead of the Tissot PRX, would choose the Tissot Gentleman. It was introduced before the PRX and in my opinion looks better.
My preference for everyday wear is the rolex or the cartier..of course rolex more sport than cartier more dressy,but both are cool for use all the time...love it
Yeah, screw down crown GS-watches are a great pick. Unfortunately, the SBGE269 and SBGE271 are 100m, but miss the screw down crown, probably disqualifying them here. Also: Christopher Ward The Twelve is the PRX I’d prefer 😅
Just made my first purchase on C24 - got a Zenith Defy. Got my Rolex and Breitling bases covered already, but the Ex1 has been on my mind for bit I admit, and I’m 100% gonna buy the 75th anniversary Navitimer when that comes down. For now, next box to check off is the Aqua Terra I been eyeing up, along with a Tag Heuer Monaco!

I would say a GS Skyflake staddles the divide better than the example in the video but my personal favorite is the JLC Geophysic 1958. Beautifully considered case, pretty slim, 100 WR, anti magnetic, ant shock and fabulous lume unlike GS. Get it in rose gold and double down.

@@johnnysilverhand1733 You’re entitled to that opinion. That said, I think Tudor is just another Rolex rip-off that very few people would actually like if they were never under the Crown. I’m not discussing anything quality-related, mechanically or otherwise, but aesthetically I don’t find them appealing whatsoever. They did start sourcing Breitling’s B01 movement a couple years ago, which was definitely a positive move for the Black Bay chrono as well as the brand overall, because it made the Black Bay chrono mechanically desirable in my opinion… but it’s still kinda ugly unfortunately. It’s just so disappointing that its only claim is that it’s almost a Rolex. Maybe they should rename the entire brand ‘Almostex’. It’s kinda sus for Rolex fans that the only way to get a GMT Master II with a coke bezel is to buy the sister brand knockoff. Anyway…..

You missed the mark...Tudor Black Bay Monochrome blows everyone of these away for the price point. More durable and keeps time as good if not better than the Grank Seiko.
