    If you use blender 2.83 you dont need to have a hole in the effector object. ie. the ball can roll around with fluid in it without leaking. For some reason 2.90 onwards wont do this-no fluid will appear in a sealed effector.

    Урок, не полный. Мало того что не показана полная инструкция (видео переходит, а модификаторы подключены ,что вызывает проблемы), так и модель не получается такой какой должна быть из-за этого! Жидкость на 70-ом кадре исчезает. А в уроке нет.

    FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO CANNOT GET THE FLUID TO TURN BLUE AT 3:15
    1. Change from wireframe mode to viewport shading
    2. Hide the cube and outer sphere
    3. Check where you "deleted" the vertex at the top of the sphere containing the liquid for me there was a false face still generated in this area. If you cannot see through the space into the sphere then click on the face and hit 'X' then select 'delete face'

    The end result is great, but why do all you tutorial guys have to race through the narration? For crying out loud, take a pause every now and then and let the people you're supposed to be tutoring catch up. If this is what your paid videos are like, I'll skip them.
    For the life of me I can't get the sphere to show the blue fluid at 3:16 Using Blender 3.4

    • @AC-dv9bs
      @AC-dv9bs ปีที่แล้ว

      The "Final Touches" section of this video is a complete joke.... followed the entire tutorial just to be left on our own for the camera and rendering sections. Two of the most important.

  • @AC-dv9bs
    @AC-dv9bs ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Why did you rush through the camera setup and entire final touches section like that after doing the rest of the tutorial normally? Dang. Setting up the camera is one of the hardest parts of Blender and one of the most important and you literally sped it up for no reason. Now I have to slow down the speed of the video and spend an hour trying to match what you did. Makes absolutely no sense. Right at the end too. What a cruel joke lol. Let me show you how to make the entire thing and then leave you on your own for the final touches which sets the whole aesthetic lmao, c'mon bro.... what a waste of my time. If I knew you'd rush through the final section and I'd have to slow down the video like other tutorials, I would have just done another tutorial without any guide.
    Even slowing it down to 0.25x speed right now, I'm completely lost as to what you're doing. You made the cube bigger and didn't even explain why for example. SMH. What a damn joke!

  • @EleanorPeterson
    @EleanorPeterson 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Lovely, but way over my head. 🙂 With respect, like 99% of TH-cam techno-uploads, this isn't a tutorial; it's a cool demonstration, but it's not exactly a tutorial.
    A tutorial tells you why something's required, as well as how to implement it. If I'm going to learn, I need reasons. I need the thought process behind why A is chosen from a menu and B isn't. And whether it'll work with C. And if not, why not.
    It may take a three hour video to make things clear, but that's just how life is.
    I feel as if I'm seeing a guy play a guitar solo: it's impressive and artistically satisfying, but... does the thick string go on the top or the bottom? How come the notes don't all blur together? And where do I put my fingers to make that 'weeeeauuu' sound?🤔
    I appreciate that there's a commercial side to TH-cam, and that a lot of people teaching Blender (or GIMP or Photoshop or whatever) will be making content to advertise their proficiency in a competitive field. There's nothing wrong with that.
    But Blender ISN'T easy, even when you do know your way round the controls. This is great, but it's not a tutorial.

I made this tutorial and even in your video the liquid part since its made with a small ico sphere look more like sands and the liquid look pixalated. I have a problem, at frame 41 it turns gray the color of the particles for the rest of the animation :(

    I cant seem to get the particles to show up again at the end and when I press play where the keyframes are, nothing happens. I'm in camera view with rendered view switched on and on cycles and it's literally just a clear glass ball on the textured plane. I turned the liquid back on on the particle section and nothing happens at all. Does anyone know a possible solution please or what I've done wrong for future reference?

    I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I tried following this tutorial to a T, but all my particles just fall through everything. I'm on Blender 3.5 and perhaps the behaviour changed or something. Tried to research what's happening but I can't figure it out.

    I did the tutorial, and managed to do everything went perfectly and I rendered the first 41 images, but when I stopped and reopened it the next day but when I tried to re render the rest of the images the back simulation didn't didn't render despite it still being backed in the domain , do you know what happened or how I can properly save a simulation?

      @@lexpst4675 Unfortunately no I have been too busy with other issues and I am no really good at finding sites or videos to explain or solve problems I have like I can't seem to find Dual Mesh in the Geometry nodes for example and all evidence tells me that it's supposed to be included in 3.1

      It's probably because the simulation cache was saved in a temp folder. Which means when you close the project and open it back up it will be gone. If you want to prevent this go into the domain settings and change the cache folder directory to a different folder.

    Bro idk how your pc specs are able to run this. I have a 3070 but it's a laptop version so idk if that changes anything. If I left cycles as is, it would've taken over an hour per frame... (10 samples every 20 seconds).

      Yeah noticed he doesn't properly show how to render at the end. Have to change the rendering samples to 50. Kind of weird he speeds through the Final Touches section like a mad man. Luckily I knew that before rendering.
