the only thing id change is have this set up in a gt version r34 so not 4 wheel drive I love the rear wheel drive factor knowing I can just fling it sideways and rip some burnouts. But great setup dude I wish I could have seen it do a pull

Little bit more than 240-260BHP standard!! Nissan 'says' 276BHP due to JDM rules but they were pushing around 330BHP

+James Smith Yeah they definitely lost some power overtime, yeah I heard about the UK spec or saw a video of it, has clear turn signals and double vents on the bumper
+Manveer Ghuman Yeah fairly subtle changes, had the chance to see one and at a glance I couldn't really tell the difference. Although the price tag is slightly higher over here for being originally registered in the UK

+lazygamerz its a common misconception that more turbos = more power, you are effectively halving your exhaust gas pressure going to the turbos by having 2
Chris Readman I think you missed the point I was making. Which was that it doesn't really matter how many turbos or how much horsepower you have, its all just the male brain's attempt at attracting females. And they're far more impressed by a savings fund than a mint condition rebuilt R34 with 1000hp. And you get paid by the bank to have money in it, you know, whereas a car always drops in price from what you paid for it.

why does he say he got kicked out of the drag strip?
if you hit 10 seconds or less without a rolk cage, you can't race again, until you have a cage.
Jason Beazley what if you have a stock supercar that runs 10s? Would you still need a cage?
Honestly can't answer that one for you max. I never even thought about that side of things?
Perhaps as they are that fast out of the car yard, they are exempt as they were manufactured with these speeds in mind?
Perhaps someone who works at the drags could answer it?
Almost all super cars have built in roll cages or position the pillars to provide the same amount of protection and rigidity. So they are exempt, but not much ppl drag race their exotics at these type of open places.
Once your ETs drop under set times (11 seconds is the first one) a different set of safety requirements apply so the faster you go the more gear you have to fit ie roll cage, parachute etc. or you won't be allowed to run.

Its light and supposedly makes 1000hp, sounds like something you can drag race to me. Depending on the suspension setup any car can be meant for anything.

It's primarily a street car that occasionally gets taken to a drag strip, so it's not really setup for drag racing. Horsepower alone does not make a drag car. This also applies to its weight - the car is still in its full street trim and R34GTRs are not exactly known for being "light weight". Taking all that into account 9sec is actually rather quick.
whatyareckon it may make 1000hp, but its in full street trim, ie; full weight 1600kgs without driver, street legal radial tyres, no tubbing, e85 pump fuel no race fuel here, put this engine into a race prepped chassis and you will see much quicker times.

I don't know much about drag racing but I imagine there are some sort of legislations or rules which this car doesn't abide by if he wants to go that fast. As in they may only let you run (respective of power and times of course) with a specific tyre set up, roll cage set up or chute etc. I'm just guessing though but I imagine the issue was something along those lines as this is one hell of a car but it isn't some stripped out purpose built drag car although it's certainly capable and I don't doubt the work JEM do for a second.

He ran a time too fast for a street car not equipped with the correct safety provisions. He was "kicked out" meaning that he is not allowed to come back until it meets the requirements of the drag strip with regards to safety.
He wasn't literally kicked out, but metaphorically. Kicked out in this context means to not be allowed to do further runs until the necessary modifications (roll cage) are made. The ANDRA rules vary depending on the class, but basically faster than 12.99 to faster than 10.00 (depending on class) requires a cage built to ANDRA standards. issuu.com/andradragracing/docs/2018_andra_rulebook
