These guys installed a turbo into a crx i owned in the 90s, back when they were located in their much more modest workshop in Croydon NSW (hence their name). They are the real deal and a true Aussie success story.
All these years on and they keep getting quicker and quicker , I remember clips of tunnel runs in Japan years ago and old grainy filmed on a potato street racing and it's awesome that it's never ended it's just got better

CRD is hands down the most impressive GTR shop in the world, its funny how people to get all excided about GTR tuners in Japan like HKS, JUN or TOP SECRET, what CRD is doing is so far beyond what any of those shops ever did, I don't see how a 3500 hp RB is even possible with only 3L, that kind of Horsepower is what Steve Morris all billet SML 7L LS based engine does.
HKS put an RB into the 7s over 20yrs ago when they stopped RB part development, 10yrs after they stopped their F1 V12 5 valve engine. Materials, fuels, ECU technology etc has come on leaps and bounds in 22yrs. HKS did release some new RB parts a few yrs ago, one that caught my eye was pre chamber ignition as used in F1. Whilst they are using it in an eco friendly manner the power potential of Pre chamber combustion is enormous. Look at F1 1600cc massive turbo running 55psi, AFR 30:1 ie lean as fck, compression ration 19:1 prob 20 by now making 850+bhp all whilst remaining insanely fuel efficient contributing to a BMEP of over 50% This is so far beyond what any tuner shops in Australia have ever done or could put to market with a warranty and sell Given the technology of the time it would be near impossible to make 3000hp RBs 22yrs ago with any sort of reliability without a million dollar budget They were however making 1000hp/L nearly 40yrs ago in F1 with used BMW M12 road blocks!!

No hate meant towards anyone, I love motive, CRD and maatouks as well as all the other big hitting Eastern states workshops, just noticed the disparity and am curious
At the time of this recording, it would been down to the drama, drift squid done a video with them. Larry title on this video is a bit misleading as maatouks has the most records currently and more overall faster GTR’s
Yep but the winner elected to take the cash so Adrian from LMCT has it and has converted it to paddle shift and bought a genuine Nismo Z tune front bumper, bonnet, side guards, boot and wing and left it all unpainted in dry carbon except for the white roof, white rear 3/4 panels panels and white doors. Looks weird tbh
There's pro mod rbs in the 5s too so what 😂 And these guys haven't got Zeus on the track yet ,it'll be 5.50s in no time 👌🤣 These days engine choice doesn't really matter tbh

I don't know why more drag guys don't allow their tires to be riddled with stones and pebbles. Cant be good for grip. I understand this GTR is not about to race but I see cars at the track full of stones before their runs. Maybe I'm just ocd because that annoys me to see lol
That's why they do the burnout, it gets all that off the tyres, they get rocks on the them from the return plus pit area cause of how sticky the tyres get 👍
1000hp on the street is completely unnecessary and just plain stupid, u can't use it on the street. My fg falcon on it's lowest setting is 336hp atw and 680nms torque and even that's pushing it, blows the tyres off as it is 😂 Granted I've only had it 2 days and still getting use to it but it's rediculas, has a 470 and 560 hp atw settings too, little scared to turn it up tbh 😂
Can 💯% get 1000hp to dead hook on the street. Tyres, tyre pressure, suspension, diff gears, clutch or converter setup and tuning ( power delivery) so many ways.
Its a manual guys. It's just a sequential with paddle shifts. I'm sorry, im 6 minutes into this video and the first 2 cars being described, are making my head hurt. Having a clutch for launch control does not make it a manual. Only manual in aware of, that's mounted to the column, is the old school 3 on the tree.
Just because you don't agree, doesn't make it so. The inside of a H-patten, sequential and paddle shift sequential are the same and use a clutch. You;'re confusing manual for h-patten

It's all steel folks. It just has carbon front and rear fenders, rid, hood, and deck lid. So...... Just the doors are steel?? 😂😂😂😂
