I group my bookshelves by author too momma! It helps a lot!!! I love you sooo much!! You bring so much joy to my life with these videos! Your energy is comforting and relaxing and happy and joyous! You make me smile sooo much and make me feel so much less ALONE in this big, bright, noisy & beautiful world of ours! I wish we lived closer! We totally would be besties!!!

As your collection continues to grow, it may help to organize the solo book shelf alphabetically by author, especially if (like me) you have difficulty remembering if a book sounds familiar because you own it OR because you've heard someone else show or discuss it🤷♀😉
Oh I just loved this comment so much! I REALLY appreciate your idea, and I will 100% use it...when my three year old stops randomly going to my shelves and messing with my books. She's making towers and pushing them back and all around. It's often a real disaster, LOL. She should grow out of it soon. (I hope!) 😆

I’m always reorganizing my shelves, and I need to get myself a new bookcase (or two 😂) because my other bookcase has been broken for over a year now. It was cheap, so I need something sturdy.
You have accumulated quite a collection, which isn’t shocking because once you join booktube it lets you see all of the pretty covers and stepbacks you didn’t know about, and you want them too 😂
This is SO TRUE! One of my favorite things about Instagram is seeing YOUR collection, so hearing you need (maybe) two new bookcases doesn't surprise me! You have the BEST collection, in my opinion! 😀

So you keep yours on a spreadsheet to try and not get duplicates? I am working on a simple one.
Yes! I use a document on Google Docs and make sure to type in any books I have when I take them home. I can open it on my phone when I’m book hunting. I also put down if the cover is nice, what number it is in a series, and if it has a stepback! 😀

Where you go those books where I live I have to travel B&N and no second hand 😰😰
Oh no! It's usually library sales. People donate to their local libraries and then the libraries have periodic sales. Fingers crossed that maybe you have a library close to you that does that!
