I always tend to overlook at these type of books whenever I see them at the store or at little free libraries but your video has made me realize how pretty the illustrations are inside! The stories also sounds so cool!! It’s refreshing to discover books I never see being talked about online. ❤
I'm so glad you got some value out of my video! I only recently developed an appreciation for stepbacks and covers, and now it's my passion! I love that we can have works of art for 50 cents a piece! And the stories are so fun! 😃

Thank you for your lovely comment! Thanks for asking about the sparkly thing! I hope it wasn't too distracting, but I really wanted to display it, LOL. It's like a snow globe, but it has glitter instead of fake snow, and it lights up and a little motor moves the water (and sparkles) around. It's a great way to brighten up a dreary winter day! 😃

I have several of these books. I loved them. I too got them used, but some I bought new. I love your descriptions and displays of them. These are all I read at one time then Jane Austen changed my life and the way I read forever.

I read the Raven prince and liked it. You will get two stories, the Raven Prince and the romance one. About the brothel thingy well it is supposed to be like a masquerade thing. There are two other books in that trilogy which I am yet to read. That guy with the bet, so glad it was only kissing them 😂 still eeeeeeewwwwwe.

That is an EXCELLENT question! The answer is: I don’t know. 😆 Or more accurately, it varies! You’ll see more spice in a Joanna Shupe than a Mary Balogh, for example.

I haven't read many of the titles you've collected, but about 20 years ago, I read Anita Mills' Autumn Rain and loved it. (I have it in my notes. I read it in 2004.) Not sure it's for everyone. It's rather salacious, but I liked it so much, I looked for more Anita Mills books. Although I have a couple more in my collection, sadly I haven't read them yet because I just have too many books and I'm more of a contemporary reader these days. Anyway, I'll be curious to see what you think!

@@mamaneedstoreadromance Notes is probably generous when it comes to a book I read that long ago. But, I do have a list of books I've read and when I read them. Nowadays, my notes are more extensive because I'm on Goodreads and Storygraph which encourages more info. In any event, yeah. Can't believe 2004 was 20 years ago.

What do you do with books that you have 2 of? Do you give them away?
I sure do! I usually pop them in a Little Free Library or donate them to libraries that sell used books. Occasionally I'll sell them to a used bookstore for credit. But that's pretty rare.
