    I must say that both are amazingly strong and equally powerful. Cane Corso has a stronger bite and has faster though dogo is physically stronger and has an explosive attack that no one would realize it happened. As a family dog a trained dogo can't be surpassed but without any training they are pretty much the same. Even though Cane Corso is easier to train, the dogo is really easy to train but once trained it is the best dog. For a family it must be the dogo, as a working dog both are great, Dogo for harder activities, Cane Corso for easier and smaller activities. They are equally strong without a doubt. No matter what others say these dogs surpass Kangals and Caucasian shepherds, making them the strongest and most powerful dogs. Both are amazing and I recommend getting one !!!

    For me, it's safer to choose Cane Corso than Dogo Argentino because my wife wants a Cane Corso. Remember, wife is always right. If she wants Dogo, buy a Dogo not Cane Corso. An angry wife is more dangerous than a lion.

    I only have first hand experience with the Dogo in my family & what I'm told from Corso owners. My Dogos, as historically same, are very tolerant with children of all sizes. My oldest was 10 when we got our 1st female dogo Gabrielle, who was 7 months old & my youngest daughter was born the same year as my Dogo litter so she grew up with the Dam & 1 female pup, Sadie. I had no issues with them & they were all best friends. My youngest would ride Sadie until she got tired & would sit down then my daughter would slide down her back. Gabrielle would wake up my oldest for school on command. I'd tell her to go wake up Sophia then she'd run down stairs, push open her bedroom door, which wouldn't close properly, & jump on her bed. I've been without dogs for 10+ yrs & my next dog will be a Dogo.

He’s GREAT with the family, OVER protecting of my 6 years old daughter, VERY people friendly but he’s a hunting dog through and through….. 6 to 8 mile runs a day while I’m on the electric scooter and if he’s not running like today, he swims a little over a mile in 2 1/2 hours……his strength and stamina is crazy

    It is ferocious and fearless with massive strength

    The cane Corso and dogo Argentino are both large working dogs breeds that can make excellent family dogs when properly trained. When it comes to the topic of cane Corso vs dogo argentino,it is impossible to say which one is better. While these two breeds have a lot in common,they have just as many differences.

    They are both phenomenal dogs. I would take either one for protection of my family and home. If I had to choose between the two breeds, it would depend on what I needed them for. If I was looking for more of a pet to guard my home and family and still mix with other people and animals, then I would choose the Cane Corso. If I was going to use a dog more in the field for hunting, especially for cougar and feral hog hunting, etc., then I would choose the Dogo. They are both breeds that I would love to own and have as member of my family.

      Congratulations. I'd love to have another dog now, especially a Cane Corso or similar dog but we have one dog left from our previous "pack" and for some reason she attacks all dogs now. She grew up with 3 and 4 other dogs her entire life but she is now dog aggressive, actually she is animal aggressive now.
      She goes after other dogs, no matter how much bigger, she kills rabbits, snakes, lizards, birds, everything. She always chased other animals but she wasn't like that with other dogs until the last of her pack passed away. She grew up with an American Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Standard Poodle (don't laugh about the Poodle, he was a big badass and the best dog I've ever owned, lol) and a mixed breed or two. She's a small mixed breed that 10 1/2 years old but acts like she's 3 years old.
      I have some training experience and we went to a professional trainer but she won't change. We rescued a large Bullmastiff and she attacked it and almost paid with her life. Only her thick collar saved her from being killed by the rescue Bullmastiff. In the future a Cane Cross or Dogo will be a breed we get, along with another Doberman from real working stock.

    Unfortunately i have noticed that Dogo Argentinos have a lot pf wrong information about them still. Most likely from the fact that the Dogo wanst even officially recognized as a breed by the AKC until 2020 since by their standards there must be atleast 2,000 breeding pairs. In a country of almost 400 million ppl that isnt a large sample size. Another fact often left out of comparrison videos involving Dogos is the way their jaw is shaped. Their jaws are more squared than rounded which helps them hold which is why they a are refered to as catch dogs when hunting. As an owner of a 100+ pound male Dogo and somone who is not small in scale myself i can confirm from playing tug with him that if they dont want to let something go it will not get away without a release command. Dogos are also way smarter than they are given credit for or mine have all just been above average some how. My Dogo can spell(simple words obviously) knows his commands in 2 languages and somehow knows which ringtone on my phone goes to which person(his reactions when my phone rings gives that one away). Both dogs in the video are good at what they do and are not dogs for 1st time owners. Didnt mean to write a small essay, but i have noticed in most videos i see Dogos are always knocked for intelligence and bite force. Being strong willed and stuborn, which is true, does not make them less imtelligant.

    Cane Corso is more suitable for the family because it smarter and way more loyal. It's genetics is original. It was bred without interference. Not to say that cane corso is not stronger than dogo. It's slightly stronger than dogo. Dogo on the other hand can snap anytime biting the hands that feed it even if it was trained well. Its because of its genetics that was interfered in labs by men in old Argentina originally since they were bred mainly to hunt and fight.

      I have to disagree on this comment. Dogos,like any dog, are they way they are due to their humans. My Dogo brought from Old Argentina is the sweetest pup. He loves to run and play. He does not like when I knit for a long time because I can't pet him. He is the best dog for protection and are good family dogs, IMHO.

    I got a Cane Corso 2 years old female. I do not agree with that part that is not suitable for small children. I never seen so tolerant dog with small kids and children. So this my experience. I never had Dogo so I cannot comment but they looks amazing .

    Those are not the real Cane Corso, they are the American version crossed with Boxers, a far cry from the real ones.

    I have both female cane corso and dogo, around kids i would say my cane corso better, not because of bite risk neither would bite a kid but for gentleness my female cane corso way more gentle and aware of where she steps jumps etc. My female dogo much much higher chase drive too, shes more of a hunting dog than home protector. Probably depends on parents a lot though.

    • @elvnmagi9048
      @elvnmagi9048 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've been looking at both and the cane is said to not have the prey drive of the shepherd or hunting types of large guardian dogs, so might be better if you plan to have cats or other smaller dogs.

    • @erikroehrdanz8840
      @erikroehrdanz8840 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is true, my cane corso rarely leaves my side when on hikes through woods etc when off leash, my dogo is nowhere to be seen when let off leash but comes back every 10 minutes or so to make sure she knows where i am. My cane corso has been much easier to live with because simply she doesnt have the metabolism of my dogo. My dogo is constantly digging in my yard, getting into things shes not supposed to, but shes like velcro once she gets her exercise in, more than my corso. i prefer my dogo actually just because shes a do all dog, rollerblading, skateboarding, she never gets tired, but shes higher maintenance. more exercise, have to keep an eye on her more, chase drive, etc.

    Lion's bite force is closer to 1000 psi.

    • @elvnmagi9048
      @elvnmagi9048 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Lion's mouth/jawbone is shaped in such a way that when they clamp onto a suitable animal's neck, it cuts the bloodflow the to prey's brain off. So they can knock something out very quickly. They don't even need that much force to do it, but that force is useful all around since they can't always get something around the neck, and because they have to fight other beasts and even other lions too. Study was done at university of buffalo years ago. Technique and morphology can be very important factors, not just force alone. Still good info though on the force.
