I think we feel less of that need since we moved to a way smaller town. I don't worry about my packages on the counter at the post office here. Where as in Florida...I worried lol.
Thanks for sharing 🙂 I previously did my inventory very similar but streamlined it. As I take my pictures I bag the item,then stick it in a letter bin with an item #,I will process enough items to fill the bin for the day and shelve the bin. After a few months, whatever is left in the bin I will relist and add new inventory on top of that bin. I know if I don't put it away immediately it won't ever make it where it needs to go😆
Yep, I would love to do inventory right away, but it just doesn't work out with my TH-cam filming, but it's definitely what I would recommend to anyone. Sounds like you have an awesome process!

I would love to see separate videos detailing more on how you photograph and what type of lighting and cameras that you use. Also would love to see a video on how you determine shipping or if you just do all free shipping. I personally don't like to do free shipping in case they return I would rather put buyer pays return shipping.

Just curious if you ever figured your hourly rate on a best month and compared it with a worst month. It would be an interesting video to show just how much work/time is actually put in and the outcome. I love that you do your own work and you take off every other weekend. I would love to find bags like the soft plastic clothing bags, like the bread bags from the grocery store that I use, but only with a sticky flap. I don't like the harder, crispy type bc they feel cheap/tacky to me. I think it's bc anything I order from China comes in that rigid plastic. Lol Stuff at the .99 Center too. Same plastic. Anyway . . . if anybody knows where I could buy soft style bags, please LMK. Thanks!

But the one store I didn’t see you go to is the Atwater Village Goodwill and I really wanted to share that little goldmine with you. I’m there every Thursday for their $1 on a specific color special sale. Which I know you go to. I would love to meet up with you sometime if you’re ok. I photo the inventory number with the item so when I’m making the listing, I have that number to use. What is the advantage of the extra time to do the spreadsheet?
Lots of different options for keeping track of inventory. I started with the spreadsheet and it's where I'm most comfortable. I like having all my items in one place, but it's great that you found something that works well for you 👍

How do you decide what bin the new inventory goes in? Do you look at your spreadsheet and see what bins are empty?
The bins are clear.....just grab one with room in it.
