I work a full-time job with a decent salary But I resell on the side because I enjoy it as a hobby. My advice for anyone considering reselling or current reselling would be to (1) sell what you love (it will make your business easier) and (2) ensure that you are running your business and it is not running you. I think it's important to continuously check in and find out what is working, what isn't working, and what you want/need to make you happy.
I've been reselling for over 20 years. Just this year, I started feeling so burnt out and over it. I homeschool my 3 kids, so I'm sure that doesn't help, but I'm just so over the stuff, I'm so over the Ebay returns, I'm so over living every moment thinking about if I'm going to make a sale, checking notifications, responding to so many messages that never turn into a sale, literally hundreds of Depop offers every week that rarely turn into actual sales. I have completely stopped sourcing and will just work on selling through what I have.
same exact situation here! I have been selling fulltime on Poshmark and Ebay since 2018 but especially since this year I am just burnt out and sick of it. My sales have dropped approx 80% over the past 2 years compared to 2021 and the years prior and I am just ready for a new chapter in my life. I haven't been at the bins once this whole year and just happy when I will finally sell the last item from my inventory... I still have a whole bonus room of stuff to go :/ so it might take a little while.
Me too!! Been reselling 24 years!! Full time the last 7+. I'm just tired. I took a job an hour away from me full time a year ago and I have no work life balance . I'm always exhausted and have no time to work at my store. I have a warehouse I pay for and no energy to go. I'm also discouraged by what people want to pay anymore. Unless you're buying at the Bins it's hard to make a decent profit and it's so inconsistent to count on how much you will make to be able to pay bills on time. It's going to break my heart but I need to just admit My full time reselling days have passed. Good luck everyone!!
Ugh sorry to see yet another one of my favorite TH-camrs scaling back and reducing content on you tube in regards to reselling. Annn Exhardt, Denali, hustle at home mom, Lori’s Boston found. The constant changes in the platforms is exhausting to keep up with . Thanks for sharing your evolution over the years! sharing your evolution
I'm a homeschooling mom of 3 too. And I agree. I am about to take a cross country trip because my husband is being sent to california for work and I just realized I haven't shut off my store in the 4 years I've been doing this. I've used vacation mode but this time it's more than 15 days. How good will that feel?
@@penniestoriches5743 enjoy the break! The last time I put my store on vacation mode was 2013. Maybe I just need to take a break and then reevaluate the whole reselling thing!
Congratulations on Your New Journey 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Dear Courtney, I hope this message finds you well. I want to express my heartfelt congratulations on this exciting new chapter in your life. As someone who has followed your journey for many years-and as a PT POSH re-seller since 2015-I have always admired your strength and spirit. It’s truly wonderful to hear that you’ve found someone who brings you happiness. Change is indeed a beautiful opportunity, and I’m thrilled for you as you move forward with someone who complements your life. From the bottom of my heart, congratulations! Life is short, and I encourage you to embrace every moment to its fullest. Warm regards, Susan
Thank you for your transparency and honesty. I can relate to 100%. Some TH-camrs forget to mention they have a staff, and it makes solo sellers feel inadequate. Thanks again, enjoy your new chapter.
Because of life circumstances I've had to drop listings to 5-10 items per day for a few months here and there and it's not enough to get by. If you can't hit minimums of 15-20 items per day at at least $25 ASP you can't survive off reselling alone. Less than that can be a fun side hustle or extra income to pay off a bill or credit card for a while, but if you want to have a serious livliehood or income stream you have to be all-in and committed to the daily work. You have to have a well-organized inventory and efficient space to store it all. One of the only things that saves my sanity is paying for a slightly larger home with enough extra space for inventory storage so I don't have to go off-site. Then I can close the doors to those rooms and the office and I can completely shut that part of life out and it's like it doesn't exist - until I open those doors for work when it's work time. Work/life balance applies to physical space too. I'd lose my marbles if my workflow objects and inventory were contaminating my living and leisure space.
I appreciate you being authentic and addressing the shopping addiction that live sales encourage. I have developed a huge problem with buying on whatnot and I recently got screwed by another seller and it’s actually a blessing in disguise bc I won’t be buying on that platform anymore.
I feel sad that anybody thought it was appropriate to say anything other than good luck, and I hope you have the most wonderful, fabulous experience, and life with Robert that you could ever imagine. You’re a fabulous person, and you deserve all the happiness in the world. It is nobody’s business why you do what you do and you’re obviously a smart, successful woman. go with love and all the best thoughts. I hope you do all good things in the world every single time you step out the door.
Truth!!! Reselling is not easy. For me, it's only worked as "extra" income. I was a part time seller for 3 years and then tried to be full time for a short time. Did not work out. Got a great job and went back to doing this part time again for the last 2 years. I sell 25 - 30 items a month on average and take home around $500 a month. Nice extra money--nothing more.
I’m a part-time part-time reseller, fortunate enough to be able to donate all proceeds to different charities. Fortunately, my “real job” afforded me enough income that I didn’t have to have a side hustle. Now that I am retired, I have more time to devote to generating $$ for those who are not as fortunate as I am. I wish you well and I can identify with your burnout and the need to do something different.
Sweetheart, you’re a smart girl who’s got her head on straight. No one needs to know the details of any part of your life but you’re gracious enough to allow us to see a part of that. Robert seems like a really great person so you do what you feel is best for YOU! I wish you all the best life can offer!!
I’ve been reselling as a side hustle for the past year. Reselling and business in general is just about finding what works best for you. And the great thing about reselling is that there are a million ways to do it and the opportunities, especially in America, are truly endless as long as you realize that it isn’t a get rich quick scheme; It is a job, at the end of the day, which requires a lot of hard work and discipline. With any business, there are parts that you loathe and parts you really enjoy. Glad you’re finding a route that works best for you!
I will never understand the need for people to know about everyone’s business. I respect that you don’t over share your life. I am 22 year reseller and share nothing. You do you
I could not have said it any better!!! I started watching your channel years ago because of your truth. Truth of reselling, truth of life, and loss and growth of being a human. Thank you!! Wishing you ALL the best 🤗
I’m also a So Cal based reseller with a busy full time job, so it’s honestly refreshing to see someone in a similar part-time reseller situation. I appreciate your authenticity.
I am so excited for you to move on to your next chapter in your life. I have watched you for years because I appreciate your analytical approach to reselling (or any other decisions). Of course every major decision you make is well thought out...lol. How could it not be? You are so grounded. I appreciate not only your honesty, but how you give your viewers so much grace during your commentary. Wishing you happiness.
You're the reason I tried real estate, and I love the transition. I'm still reselling, but I've cut down by about 80%. I still love thrifting and garage sales, but i went from 2000 items in my store to about 100 solid, good quality items.
When I was 22 I left my job, my apartment, my familiar area that I grew up where my family and friends lived and I moved in with my then boyfriend a few hours away. I did it because it made the most sense for both of us and our future. We married several years later and made two large (over 1000 mile) moves for his job. Again, it made sense for us. I'm now 52 and I regret nothing. We've been together 30 years and we're happy and I wouldn't want anything to be different. Best wishes to you and Robert. Congratulations on all of the exciting life changes! I'm really happy for you.
Reselling was great for me for years But I closed it down 6 months ago It really just isn’t profitable time vs money anymore I got myself a part time job alongside my main job which I have always loved and really just enjoying this new chapter I wish everyone who is still in the game all the best
I tried the full time reseller route it was okay at first but I had to scale back.. No room for inventory, the petty back and forth with potential buyers and I was just tired…Tired of busting my butt for up to 12 hrs a day to make $50 in 2-3 days. I LOVE sourcing but fir me at this time its not worth the heartache. I just started working a corporate full time job again and will continue to sell leisurely to cover the cost of medical insurance. I give props to everyone that is killing it reselling because its A JOB AND A HALF.. I wish I had more patience for it… This channel is what got me into reselling along with McThrifzie and Viaglo❤
I'm so excited for you, for this new phase of your life. You definitely deserve it. I hope we get to see some continued videos just to see how you're doing. Thank you for all the great information over the years.
Dear Courtney, I have been watching your channel for a few years. You were the first reseller that I watched here. Thank you so much for all your advice, it has been excellent. I am twenty years older than you and if I have any wisdom to pass along is that when your gut feeling is to say yes and take that chance, do it! You are a smart woman and Robert seems like a gem, so go and enjoy your life, it's a great adventure if you let it be. We are not promised tomorrow, so grab that happiness and have a new chapter. It is your story, after all. See you here from time to time.
I’m in the first year of my reselling journey. I appreciate the insights on making the business your own and adjusting it when you need something different. Thank you for putting this out so I could be reminded to keep it real and always working for me.
I went through a life transition 3 years ago and I did reselling as my only job for about 6 months. I realized it did not give me purpose. I still do it on the side for fun but I don’t list daily anymore and I’m happy with where things are. We go through seasons ❤
Let me start by saying that you are one of my favorite youtubers, it's great seeing someone give an honest view of what we do and I will miss seeing the hauls and chatty work with me videos....but...I am so happy for you and Robert and so sorry that people had to be so negative. My parents were married for 47 years when my dad passed away in 2014, my mom was so heartbroken over losing him and she died 87 days later. She was 6 years older than him, he was 18 and she was 24 when they started dating and people never thought they would make it but they sure did. I met my husband in Sept 2018, we moved in together 5 months later and got married in 2021, sometimes things work out :) I'm sure you and Robert will have an amazing life together and I wish you the very best.
This is probably my favorite video of yours. Talking about the emotions not being a bad thing hit home with me because you are so right. I was homesick for two weeks after moving in with my now husband and honestly hearing you explain the feelings(emotion)that come with change It’s like yes that’s it. If we move again I will be so much more open to going through all the memories and life events that happened in our current home and feeling all those emotions. Wow I’m so thankful for this video because it gave me a whole new perspective of certain life events. Thanks for sharing this!!
Wow, keep us posted. Enjoy all of the unknowns. ! You are taking it all in and aren't sugar coating your emotions, which makes you authentic. Congratulations to you and Robert for taking a leap of faith.
Im so happy for you. Ive been watching you for years and I can tell you are a very responsible woman with common sense. Whatever it is you want to do in life, i wish you the best and hope that you will always be happy ❤ Robert seems like a great gentleman! When i finally found my person, it was the best time of my life and still is! Glad you found yours ❤
Thank you for your honesty. You are being real and authentic. I have been reselling for around 4 years and full time for around 2 years and I have seen a huge decline in sales since the “Live Revolution”. But I think it’s here to stay. So now what? I’m not the live type of person either so I’m not sure what direction to go in myself. I’ve also noticed that at finding the “good stuff” in Goodwill is getting more and more scarce. So now what?? Not sure but I still love it and have hope. We shall see. Good luck to you in your journey.
I have only been a part-time reseller, I started to make some extra money. Early on I thought it would be nice to go full time but quickly realized it would never work for me. I have a full time job, 250-300 listings, list 5-10 items a week. And just use the extra money for fun stuff like concert tickets or shopping. Or sometimes not fun like vet bills or a new water heater. It is nice to have. I also sometimes get burnt out and just quit listing for 6 months, just ship out stuff that sells. Then when I want to I start again. It has been a great hobby/ extra income for the last 6 years.
You’ve been VERY generous with what you share and have shared in the past. Change is hard, but is a fact of life. I speak from experience as I’m from a military family who moved every three years. Embrace the future and carry on! Life consists of relationships, not material possessions or houses.
The internet makes people bold! I’m so happy for you and I like following your journey. Your videos keep me company while I work at reselling. I’ll miss you having as many videos, but we all evolve . This is normal and good! Best of luck!
Thank you for being you. I continue to watch you because you are so thoughtful and you model setting boundaries. Thank you for sharing your reselling journey how it evolves to fit your life and not the other way around. Change is emotional. You get to have all the emotions about it. Congrats on all you have accomplished. And I have no doubt you will continue to be successful -whatever that looks like for you.
Courtney, I just discovered your channel today. I feel like I missed a lot of inspiration from you. You’re courageous and vulnerable at the same time. I too am sentimental about a lot of my life experiences. I wish you the best. I’m sorry for the critical comments directed at you. No doubt in you know yourself well enough to continue navigating a fulfilling life. All the best wishes.
Courtney, Appreciate this video. I am in the same space as you with reselling in regards to losing motivation, missing the days where I was excited to take the content in, I hardly ever watch reselling anymore...funny I ended up watching this! We are about the same age so I think it is also you get to a stage in your life and you just make decisions that work. You don't have to explain. You know what is best for you in this moment. Wishing you all the best! Victoria
I cried like a baby when I sold my first car as the buyer drove it out of the cul-de-sac...being sentimental is a good thing. I've enjoyed the chatty work with me videos because it gives me something to listen to while taking photos or doing listings and it feels like I'm listening to a co-worker so I'll miss them but there are podcasts I can listen to and I'm sure your new & different content will be beneficial for folks in other ways. Being true to ones self should always come first and I hope this new chapter of your life is amazing.
Best to you, Courtney. So much of this I can 100% relate to, get attached to homes and emotional to leave them but still treasure memories of every place I've lived, even those that ended badly. Also am a very private person, and hate when people assume and/or judge my life choices or outcomes, especially when they know so little. May life continue to be an adventure. Keep being true to yourself, above all.
Cheers, Courtney! I've been following you for years and have always appreciated your transparency. I love your honesty and genuine spirit. As a 59-year-old woman who's been through a lot of change myself, I completely relate to the "emotional" side of things you mentioned in your piror video about your upcoming move. I remember (hopefully not incorrectly!) when you shared how your dad helped with the rug or flooring placement in one of your videos. It took me back to when my husband and I sold our condo and moved into our new home with our two young daughters. I teared up walking through that space for the last time, thinking of the memories with my father and the milestones we experienced there. To be honest, I started tearing up while packing up items and the flashbacks of many memories in that space. Honestly, I even get emotional selling a car because of all the memories tied to it-road trips, dogs who loved riding in it, and all those moments that become part of us. I think being sentimental is beautiful; it means we're cherishing the past while embracing the future. So here's to all the good times ahead-and it's okay to have happy tears for the memories as we move forward! Many hugs to you and Robert. One of these days, I’m sure I’ll run into you at a thrift store in LA. (I’m in Studio City-btw, the Noho Goodwill has really gone downhill lately!) xoxo
I think people impose their fears and experiences on others. Sometimes it's out of caring and other times they are just those people that see the worse in any situation. Also, how could you not be emotional...its a part of your life you loved and are moving on to another part of your life you love. I cried when I moved away from home. It's not a sad cry, its a realization of how much you've evolved and how much you can continue to evolve. ❤
I am so happy and excited for you! I wish nothing but the best for you, your future, your career, and Robert. Thank you for everything you share and I wish you nothing but good things in life.
I was pissed when I purchased something this past Saturday and there was a buyer protection fee $3.44 added into my tax fee's. I hope on Posh first before i go anywhere else to find what I am looking for. This is changing me now. I also am not a live auction type buyer which is turning me away from shopping on Posh as well. I am still listing the same, working the same and my sales have dropped drastically since the new company took over. They have popup's on the right hand side of the desktop version luring you to purchase from other companies instead of sellers on posh. I disagree with that completely! I am happy for your life changes. I hope we can get updates and content whenever you feel like getting on here. Thank you for all the content throughout the years.
I have to say u hit the point on Poshmark culture. I started in 2015 and was thrilled to death to make a $5 sale selling something out of my closet or someone else’s. I really never even went thrifting at stores and when I did it was insane, people were beasts. It was hard and time consuming so I stopped selling and just bought. I’m not cut out for it. My death pile was horrible and my motivation just wasn’t there anymore. Thank u for letting people, like me, know I’m not the only one.
Courtney I completely understand I need to go through my death pile and start getting more organized and down size as well. Reselling has change I sell on both platforms and yes they both have there up and downs. I am thirfting less and also very picky what I pick up.🤔🙂. Thank you for sharing and being real! Reselling is not easy at all🤔
Courtney, this was my fav chatty work with me (TM) that you've ever done! I'm so proud to be able to say that I watch ur videos and support u! I think you've done such an excellent job showing ur side of reselling! I'm actually shocked that there are ppl out there ballsy enough to comment those things! WTF?!? HOw do they feel entitled to an opinion like that? Geez. Good for u for standing ur ground and I love that ur emotional and not afraid to show it and say so! Same here! You've accomplished amazing things in ur house and in ur career and I'm so glad I got to watch! I subscribe to all ur channels and support u with whatever u decide to do next. I found u because of reselling but I've continued watching and genuinely enjoy watching because I like you for you! I will keep watching whether ur in a tent, a real estate office or ur new home. Doesn't matter as long as I get to enjoy ur personality and opinions as well as gain knowledge along the way!! Thanks for sharing and never selling out!! ✌️💜✌️💜
Great video as usual :). I’ve been following you since you started on youtube. I love your personality and authenticity. I appreciate how you speak your mind and give your honest opinion on reselling. I’ve leaned a ton from you. After 5 years of full time reselling, I’m starting to feel burned out and lacking motivation. Although I love parts of it, I’m ready to start exploring additional opportunities. It’s been helpful knowing I’m not alone. Congratulations on moving. Moving is always challenging and you’re doing amazing on this new start. Thanks for sharing parts of your personal life. Robert seems amazing. I’m so happy for both of you! ❤❤
Thank you for much for talking about this. I couldn't agree with you more. I feel like so many big resellers on youtube are not honest and reselling in general has changed a lot. I just relate a lot to the things you said and cant thank you enough for talking about it. Happy to see you continuing reselling but at a level that works for you. Also soooo happy for you and Robert, you seem so happy and that is what is important:) Been a long time subscriber and will continue to be. Thank you again :)
I’m so sorry that people were so negative. I think people that are overly negative are actually jealous. Don’t feel like you owe explanations to anyone. It is wonderful that you and Robert are taking things on together. The best relationships are those where you can work as a team, go through both struggles and successes together. My husband and I bought a house together in 2014 and weren’t married at the time. Both our families were very concerned, but we did what felt right for us. We didn’t get married until 2020, but I’m glad we bought our house when we did, because it has more than doubled in value, and we would not have been able to afford this neighborhood now. Life is too short to deny your feelings. Pursue your own happiness and do what brings you joy. Even if that’s just sleeping in with the one you love, playing with your puppies, and having a good meal!
I have watched your channel for many years and have learned so much from you about reselling. Just wanted to thank you because I discovered some I really love. I wish all the best for you and Robert. Cheers💐
Hi Courtney! I’m happy for you! You are doing what you want to do, that’s awesome! You are one of the smartest people that I know on TH-cam that’s why I’ve been following you for so long. I’m so proud of your progress in reselling then your success in real estate. I’ll look forward to hearing about your reselling changes and also what you decide with your house, it’s an exciting time, enjoy your journey (especially since it’s YOUR journey!) 😀 Love ya, Pat 😍
really ticks me off being a Posh 2 Ambassador that I never even got a email from Posh about the fee's. I only found out about it from scrolling thru my FB feed & saw a screen shot of the announcement somebody else shared in a FB group I'm in.
Same, its 8 am on Oct 4 and I still didn't get the email, and the banner barely even shows up on my news feed, I have to refresh 20 times before I get it.
@@karaitskara I'm just now Oct 5 seeing a banner on my listings "Shop $5.95 discounted shipping on all listings from this closet!" I know that wasn't there till today! So I'm not sure if before today,(Oct 3 - Oct 4th) if the buyers were getting $5.95 shipping or not. So far today I've noticed a uptick in sales compared to what I normally get.
@@teresabutler1989 I still never got the email (its 7pm 10/6 now!), I did get the $5.95 banner. But no sales, even after sending out a bunch of OTL. Hoping people can find me on Ebay instead.
I’m sorry that people felt the need to give their unsolicited opinions on your life decisions. Trust yourself which it sounds like you already do ❤️ best wishes- you have so many exciting adventures to look forward to in your new home!
Courtney, I'm happy for you and Robert! I could tell he was a really nice guy, and that you cared about each other. I will miss your house too and the beautiful view and Condors, but things change and this is a good change.
Because of health issues I had to quit teaching, which I have been doing for 20+ years. So now I am finding ways to survive. I see people who resell, play video / arcade games, etc., but I am a very eclectic person, and the thought of tying myself to one thing sounds boring and exhausting.. Thank you for this video!!! You put in words what I have been feeling about becoming a content creator.. Good luck to you and I hope I come across your videos of your new life..
Yeah I started in April of this year, but it's hard to keep up with my part time job and being a student and now I'm pregnant. Also, yes the clutter!!!!!!!! I can't stand it!!! I don't even repost anymore and I still sell, but back when I shopped and posted, it was sooooo much work! So, when I finish school, I'll get back to just reselling. No more shopping for me for a while. I enjoy the shopping part and the selling part. I HATE photographing , writing descriptions, inventorying. Hate it hate it hate
Courtney, I am so glad you've found a partner that enriches your already wonderful life. Thank you for continuing to share your life journey with us, and please let us know if you make another channel, I personally would love to see you continue your journey.
Change is good. I have been watching your channel off and on for several years. You are a smart, independent woman. I always tell my granddaughter, who is 12, to be self sufficient and not depend on anyone for financial support. I have always managed to support myself and bought my first house as a single mother in my 30's. I am almost 66 and just got married a few years ago for the first time. I started reselling 10 years ago after losing my job of 32 years. Losing my job was probably the best thing that happened to me, it was scary, but also freeing. I was fortunate to make good investments and save as much as I could on my little salary. Best wishes on your new adventure with Robert.
One of the reasons I like watching your videos is that you deal with changes and things like an adult women. I can relate. I like change and I also am sundowning my poshmark biz. Change is good and trust your gut. Wonderful news on your new adventure!
I’ve been watching your videos for years now and I will miss your content but am so happy for you and Robert. Good luck with all of the new things happening in your life.
I just resell part-time for extra income. I don't wait years for items to sell either. If I see it has been listed too long (6 months, higher priced items a year tops), I pull it and bring it to the flea market. I have been selling online since 2001 and the past few years have not been as good. There are so many resellers and platforms to sell on.
The great part of reselling is that you can do how much or how little as it fits into your life. I love home remodeling too. I hope you have a great time with it….and spending time with Robert!
What exciting life changes!! Thanks for allowing us to be part of your evolution. Nice to see such a smart and forthright woman, such as yourself, living boldly and doing your thing unapologetically! Cheers!
I appreciate your honesty and sharing your viewpoint, Courtney. I live in SoCal and feel discouraged when I see some utubers I watch and it’s all wonderful sales and finds for them and I’m in a large city and a lot of times sourcing isn’t that easy to find decent goods. I know you’re in a smaller city and it’s not so easy to source for you either. I feel some of their content is so fake and it can be very discouraging. Its hard work. I like your motto; you do you! I’m not a new resaler and I’m still plugging along and will continue to do so, but I love that you keep it real. Change is good and I wish you all the best😁
Interesting, thanks for showing a different perspective. Thank you also for saying how it is, I've been with ebay for 25 years and poshmark for 6 years, I am close to being done myself. I am ready to move on, Remember Happy Life, You only live once and life is short!
Thank you for this. I'd already come to all these same conclusions. I'll still be doing it to some extent, but I'm tired of it consuming so much of my life and want the ability to do it only as I want. It's nice to know there are others in similar places.
I have been watching you since almost day one! YOU ARE DOING GREAT! Ignore all this negative crap! You will do well in anything you do! Sending hugs!!!
I've followed you for a few years and have enjoyed hearing from you and learning from you. Have always appreciated your very realistic viewpoint on the reseller scene. Congrats on your new journey and wishing you the best with Robert and life in general!
Goodness, people are nosy. Anyway I have been an Ebay seller since 97 and have been part-time for most of it. It works great for me. I make between one and two thousand dollars a month with about a hundred items online. Do what feels right to you and don't worry about stranger's opinions.
First, I’ve noticed you’ve slowed down with videos and missed you but what is happening in your life is lovely to see! I still hate live selling! Not getting on that bandwagon ever. I’ve learned so much from you and am grateful for your tips. I’m looking forward to new content from you! I’m bummed I won’t see that view from your deck anymore! Sorry if I told you not to sell your house!!!
Courtney hello. You were one of the first TH-cam resellers I ever watched and have watched ever since which was atleast 5 years ago now. You’ve always been real. In fact I watched because i wanted to understand the resell world and found it interesting and I learned alot about brands and sizing and such. Very helpful. But i did pick up on some of your hidden stress and your work. I knew I was not in an area that even had a bins close to me so I would have been committed to source my goods entirely online. Long and short of it I really did learn a lot from you and enjoy your style and honesty. I always enjoy watching you and applaud you in anything you do. See you soon.
I am excited for you and what the future holds! I relate to your emotion with change and sentimental feelings towards a house. It does not take away from your excitement for your future, but it recognizes your past. I have never commented on your page, but have always admired your honesty and directness. I wish you so much happiness with Robert and all the adventures ahead!
Thank you, Courtney, for sharing your journey. I took a break from reselling in Dec 2023. I was sooo burned out from comparing myself to You Tube resellers that I felt like a failure. I don't live in a place where I can get good items to resell. So, while I still resell on Poshmark, I have become more selective and don't depend on it for my income. In a strange way, I'm glad I'm not the only one! Best of luck to you going forward! Life is always an adventure!
I am happy for you. Its true that making more than a little money with reselling is difficult unless you have thousands of items and a huge warehouse. For me it is just a fun thing and I have scaled back too. I lived in a house for over 20 years and it was sad to go but I don't regret it. I have friends there and made new ones. Remember stuff is just stuff. You have the memories. Your family, dogs, and Robert are what's important. Best of luck.
Have watched you for years and have admired you the entire time. Grew up in L.A. so can relate to the drive, searching for items, maintaining your property, the dogs (my cat, Rocky and I sent a toy for Xmas to Luna...you opened the package in a video❤), just everything. If I were able to buy a property and found something I love would definitely ask you to represent me. Sending much love and respect to you, Courtney and wishing you and Robert much happiness🎉🎉🎉❤ 53:50
Courtney, I have been watching your videos for sometime now, but somehow drifted away, I want to wish you and Robert all the best, and am looking forward to more videos in your new home, change is hard for everyone, I have been married for over 30 years and I myself am going through many ups and downs and hitting an age on trying to figure out what I want, being said, I love everything about you, keep smiling girl , you are doing a great job..
Congratulations on Your New Journey 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Dear Courtney,
I hope this message finds you well.
Warm regards,
Susan
Wow beautifully said ❤
Weird comment
@@phillipperkins5476 no really been following a long time and am also in the same platforms. This is great for her also I’m 63 and life is short
This. 🙌🏻
I’m less fortunate can you help me please
@@kayligo lol I was going to comment the same thing.
Sweetheart, you’re a smart girl who’s got her head on straight. No one needs to know the details of any part of your life but you’re gracious enough to allow us to see a part of that. Robert seems like a really great person so you do what you feel is best for YOU! I wish you all the best life can offer!!
Agree
I so agree.
You are so amazing, I have followed you for a long time and so so happy for your updates and move!
I say to some people. Especially the young 19 20 year old. I tell them . Get a job
Your authenticity is amazing. Thanks for being so real always! Can't wait to see the new path your taking 😍
Good vibes and love for you and Robert. Be happy and enjoy life!! I will miss you but is life. ❤
THIS
Reselling was great for me for years
But I closed it down 6 months ago
It really just isn’t profitable time vs money anymore
I got myself a part time job alongside my main job which I have always loved and really just enjoying this new chapter
I wish everyone who is still in the game all the best
Thank you for sharing!!
I love your insight~ I wish I had found you sooner. You are honest, insightful & genuine. So rare these days and sooo appreciated!
I'm so excited for you, for this new phase of your life. You definitely deserve it. I hope we get to see some continued videos just to see how you're doing. Thank you for all the great information over the years.
Appreciate your honesty on the topic of reselling and how hard it can be! ❤
Same with me. I agree 👍🏿
When Mercari started no fees for sellers, but charging buyers more, my sales tanked. I have no desire to play the same game with Poshmark.
I met my husband in Sept 2018, we moved in together 5 months later and got married in 2021, sometimes things work out :)
I'm sure you and Robert will have an amazing life together and I wish you the very best.
People. Eeewwee right ?!? Dum dum comments 😅
Good luck! Best 2u
Happy 4 u I e learned from you. So thank you Courtney
I’m a silent long time follower. I felt the urge to comment.. I’m proud of your Courtney! And, excited for all the things in your future.
Life is too short for nosy people. I wish you and Robert all the best! Your happiness is all that matters, and nobody's business. ❤
Love your honesty! I resell for fun and that’s my happy place.
Me too! 😁
Same here, I love the extra money I make but I have a FT job as a nurse in a hospital. The extra money I use for my children expenses.
Yes, I do too and love it. Reseller since 2012.
I'm so happy for you...looking forward to your next vids!
Way to go! Like you said, you’re moving on to something unknown and it’s just so exciting! Congratulations to both you and Robert! Live your life!
Congratulations on figuring out what you want to do. We evolve and that's life. Nothing ever stays the same. Good Luck
I've followed you since I started in 2017ish. You've always been so transparent and real. Thank you!
Reselling is not easy at all🤔
I applaud you!! No one can judge your decision but you!! God Bless I wish you every happiness!!!
Love this for you. Closing one chapter and starting anew. Good on you for setting the record straight, people like to get besides themselves lol
We make much more on door dash uber eats than we ever did on ebay. Posh etc
I have watched your channel for many years and have learned so much from you about reselling. Just wanted to thank you because I discovered some I really love. I wish all the best for you and Robert. Cheers💐
I've been a follower for years. You've always been honest about reselling. Best wishes, enjoy your journey. 👍☺️🌻
I’m very happy for your new life with Robert! God bless you!
really ticks me off being a Posh 2 Ambassador that I never even got a email from Posh about the fee's.
@@teresabutler1989 same. Nothing. Not in my spam folder. I found out on Facebook as well.
I made a post on a Posh reseller group about exactly this and the admin deleted it 😂
I’m sorry that people felt the need to give their unsolicited opinions on your life decisions.
I wish you all the BEST! I have learned quite a bit from you about the reselling world.
Stay strong and continue to excel!
Good luck to you happy to hear others who have enjoyed solo journeys. Posh just decided to go back to old fee structure so maybe they do listen.
New LLC and this comes across my feed. Being disabled adds another layer of challenges. Appreciate your honesty.
Best wishes with the move and changes. I wish you and Robert and the pups all the happiness in the world.❤❤❤
I haven't been here for a while. I'm excited for you!
I did forget to say that you are so happy and it shows. Congratulations to you and Robert and the dog babies!
Thanks so much I feel my self just like you I can't understand why is so hard! I have to rethink what I am doing.
All the best to you I’ve followed you a while and learned a lot from you all the best in your new endeavors 💕🙏🏻
My unsolicited opinion is that Airbnb is the best way to go. And trust your heart with your new beau!
