    💪😄👍
    Nice review. Just one thing I would suggest. If you put the sheet metals together first like a Traingle and then fit the burner holder ring and twist it so it fits in the slots of the sheet metals it will be easier to assemble. If the ring fits in the slots properly it can hold more than 700 N in direct force to the ring. It didn't hold for my weight but I'm pretty hard boiled anyway.... 😉

      I watched the video on the Trangia website and I see what you mean. Its an impressive design in terms of weight and strength. Thanks for watching, and directing me to the video.

      I just tried OAP's assembly method and actually found it easier... after I found my kit. Packs done so flat I didn't realize that I left it in the inside back slot-pocket of my backpack! 😉

    Thanks for the video, but can you use the heat damper?

    • @OAPAdventures
      @OAPAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, you can. But it doesnt have the same range of motion that it has in the 25 and 27 series. Its more an "on or off" kind of thing.

    Great video, do you know the dimensions of each metal side? I’m wondering if they would sit inside a large Trangia mess tin.

    • @OAPAdventures
      @OAPAdventures  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      According to the Trangia site, the dimensions are 126×85 mm. I haven't got a mess tin, so Im unable to say if it would fit, but it does say on the Trangia site that it will fit in the small mess tine. Thanks for watching.

    You didn’t mention that the Trangia gel burner can also be used. No one mentions the poor Trangia gel burner. ☹️

      You are right. When I made the video, I wasnt aware of it but you're not the first person to mention it to me.

    What is the smallest size pot you can use with this? I love this with the additional canister burner.

    • @OAPAdventures
      @OAPAdventures  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The smallest Ive used is the 750ml pot from the Mini Set. I like to eat, so anything smaller, even for a cup of coffee is often too small for me. It would depend on the diameter of the pot, not the capacity as to if it will work on the stand. Check out the Trangia website as that will have the dimensions of the Triangle and their pots. Thanks for watching.

    Hello could You tell me - is it possible to use simmer ring / flame adjuster / when the burner is into trangia triangle?

    • @OAPAdventures
      @OAPAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the simmer ring will fit. It doesnt have the same range of movement that you would have in the 25 or 27, but it will fit.

    next time show what trangia Pots fit. will the large pot of the 27 Set fit on it?

    • @OAPAdventures
      @OAPAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      It fits the pots from the 27. The kettle in the video is out if the 27 set. 25 series pots fit, too. Thanks for watching.

    Nice wee vid Mr OAT…Oh Another Trangia 😊
    I’ve wanted a triangle for years so when I saw one in my favourite local supplier last week, I got one, great minds think alike. Personally I couldn’t see the point of the gas as I felt I may as well use a normal BRS type gas burner.

    • @OAPAdventures
      @OAPAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you're right about the gas burner, but I can use that in my 27 and I was curious.

      @@OAPAdventures that would make more sense. 👍

      The Trangia gas burner will run on liquid gas mode in cold conditions. A canister mounted gas stove like the brs won’t be able to do that.

    Great thing but a bit hard to justify the price. Cheers Steve from Aus

      You are not wrong. I do find I use it a lot, so it'll probably pay for itself over time. I hope! Thanks for watching.

    How would you rate it against the Trangia Mini?

    • @OAPAdventures
      @OAPAdventures  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      They are 2 very different products. Mini is a full cook set, Triangle is the burner and stand only, so will need pots, pans etc. It would depend on what you wanted to use them for, and what gear you currently have. I use them both, but in different situations. Thanks for watching.
