    🔴What was your favorite color combo of Stone Spray and Undercoat Color?🔴

    Thank God you use quality bottles to hold your product! I recently was doing a counter top at my customers home and while bringing in my supplies I stumbled over the threshold. I dropped a full (brand new, unopened bottle) on their dining room floor! The bottle held! Bent the top over but no spillage or damage! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Be VERY cautious using the epoxy over top of the spray on Stone Paint!! I followed the instructions right to a tee including proper environment, prep and drying times. After all of the time and money spent, after full cure time the epoxy pealed off the paint in one solid sheet. After a lengthy conversation with customer service I got the same old "sorry, sounds like you followed the instructions but I don't know what to tell ya there" Well jeeze, thanks for all the help!!!!

    Excellent instruction. I'm really thrilled for you guys and your continued success!
    I have a request. In many videos, including this one, I dont feel like I'm getting enough time to see the finished project. Even a still photo for 3 seconds would be helpful because as a viewer we can pause to see the beautiful details. Pausing the video often leaves motion blur so a still photo would be super helpful. Can you add another 10 seconds near the conclusion of your films to let us see the finished work?

    You guys talk a good game, but I hear from a number of pro countertop installers in my neck of the woods that a lot of their business is ripping out epoxy coated countertops because they don't hold up over time, particularly in heavy traffic areas, like around sinks. I have commented on other YT videos with the same question, but no one bothers to respond, even though we are all encouraged to "comment below". So, will you respond, or join the list of those who don't?

      That’s what I’m wondering too. I figure this isn’t likely to last for years and years or anything, but it does seem like a good idea for someone like me who just wants good looking counters for a couple of years 3-5 years” while I save up money for remodeling the whole kitchen and bathroom.

    • @sharriaharmstrong9750
      @sharriaharmstrong9750 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We’ve done kitchen and bath counters and the amount of time they hold up depends on how hard you are on them and the types of cleaners you use. It’s not a long term solution but will give you 2-4 years again depending on how you treat the counters. We needed to do some patch work after a couple years.

    • @IamERAMOS
      @IamERAMOS 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It doesn't matter if it doesn't last over time. When you make these wood counter tops, make multiple replacements at the same time.
      If you get fancy you can even figure out a "clip in" system using precut grooves like a Lego block.

    Fair & simple. Out of the choices, I'd choose the white then tan then black. As a physical geographer living in the PNW, for local granite colors try a cream or beige color instead of the white or a very light gray color instead of the dark grey. It would make it more natural looking in my opinion

      Thanks for asking, Marie! You can totally apply it over existing granite countertops. Just make sure to sand it down with our 60 grit and apply the bonding primer before applying any epoxy!
      What kind of granite do you currently have, and how do you want to change it?

    These examples are all of countertops that are not installed and do not include the integrated backsplash. How do you epoxy the vertical backsplash?

    Can you put this on top of a counter that is not a smooth surface? We have this strange almost tile like countertop and it is the worst.

    I've used that stone spray a number of times. It's a cool effect but I should definitely use a mask next time. It stinks worse than normal spray paint.

    I have some rental properties that I am thinking of using this in, unfortunately the tenants think a Formica countertop can be used as a cutting board how will this hold up?
