As an American living in Japan, these videos have helped me tremendously!!! There really isn’t a lot of jbeauty content in English which makes it difficult for me to shop. You’re my skincare fairy godmother! Thank you so much for your videos Tina! ❤
Hi! Also an American living in Japan. Definitely agree: Tina is my skincare fairy godmother as well. I’ve never seen any other content creators speak about J beauty in English. So far all of the recommendations of both K and J beauty that I’ve bought have been absolute winners. Definitely keeping my Japamazon cart full.
As an Indian living in Japan, skincare stores are the most confusing place! Your videos are a ray of hope for people like us, love you for that❤ I can now walk into the store and try your recommendations confidently!
That is such a fresh video I love when you incorporate jbeauty !!! I personally think you should mix both k and j beauty together for your hits and misses
I like J-beauty add K-beauty mixed! That's probably easier for you as well since you can just talk about everything you used without having to sort stuff out for later. Also, I could be wrong but I assume that most of your viewers are here for the J and K. I would love to see more GURWM videos especially with Logan too if he's up for it! Those are so fun and I like how we get to see more of your personality shining through while chatting and joking around with him rather than just talk to the camera - which is also good too of course. 😊
1:39 I bought the Yumemiru Balm Acne Clear Moisture (blue lid) because I ran out of my cleansing oil during my Japan trip... and I'm so glad I did! I love using it so muchhh 🥰🥰 My makeup just melts away sooo easily (even my waterproof mascara!)
Hi Tina, I enjoy both korean and Japanese beauty reviews, and I also have a request! Can you please do a video of your favorite lip colors/products and fave lip combos. You're makeup is always so pretty 💗
Gonna look for that Rossette cleansing balm! Thank you! Have you tried Promedial brand in Japan? I was desperately looking for something gentle on my skin that is moisturizing as well.. so using my google translate app, I managed to get a staff to help me and they recommended that brand. I noticed it not being talked about and hard to find online - especially in english. My skin was so sensitive and compromised due to harsh chemicals and just my skin freaking out and breaking out. I’m oily skin but also dehydrated so I wanted moisturizing stuff without all the fragrances, silicones, and harsh preservatives. I enjoyed their cleanser and “skin” toner so much!! It really enhanced my skin healing/ repairing process.
i bought the Rosette Yumemiru Cleansing Balm a few months ago due to a previous video of yours, and ended up loving it! it's definitely one of my favorite cleansing balms i've ever used (only behind a discontinued sum37 cleansing balm). thank you!
Just found your channel this morning and I’m obsessed! Went out and bought a few of the skincare items you recommended like the Naturie Skin Conditioner and the Muji Moisturizing Milk! Thank you!
This was great! As always, you are amazing for doing this. Oh and I like both K- and J-beauty hits and misses from you. It is generally harder to get J-beauty stuff, but I'm one of those people that just like knowing which brands to go for and which aren't worth investing in
I also just watched Gothamista's video on new Japanese sunscreens and the both of you said the *exact* same thing about the Melano CC sunscreen (ie "this is not it") hahaha. I havent tried it myself but am not a fan of tone up sunscreens personally, since they do tend to end up either too white-cast-y or greyish. I tried the newish Melano CC enzyme cleanser but it's a bit too drying (and this is coming from a combo-oily girl), so I've been using it as a body wash instead 😅 .
I visit Japan often and tried so much J Beauty over the years. I recently used up the Melano CC, expected greatness but it was horrible. It was so dry and if you didn’t blend it in quick enough it left dry streaks all over your face and didn’t sit well under makeup. You either had to use very less to make it work otherwise it was so patchy and dry
I love your channel. You keep getting better and better with your content. Perfect timing with this vid too, as I'm heading back to Japan in a couple of weeks and always love new recommendations (and to be aware of things I may prefer to avoid). Thanks so much Tina! 🙏💝🛫🛍🛒
The Matsukiyo basic budget line is a hit or miss. The cleansing oil is absolutely great and very cheap. The ceramide lotion (you presented) was irritating for my skin when I used for "cotton packing". They have an "elevated" store brand line as well called W/M and those products are way gentler to the skin with better ingredients but still very affordable. Matsukiyo also has a ceramide focus line, Recipeo for the most sensitive skin.
Hi Tina! I love your Jbeauty videos. I currently live in Japan and am so overwhelmed when I go to their beauty stores. Could you please make a video about Japanese makeup products please? Thank you.
Gotta be honest, I was also quite disappointed by the Melano CC sunscreen 😢 I don't even like it as body sunscreen as it pills like crazy. Ended up finishing it as WFH sunscreen exclusively when I know I won't step out of the house that day 🙃
I love both k & j-beauty content😊 specially the hits and misses, I find them way more helpful than let’s say a haul, but enjoy all your videos nonetheless:)
Hi Tina! What Japanese exfoliating product would you recommend for oily acne prone skin? I use the aztec clay masks before unfortunately its unavailable in our region so I would like to switch to jproducts since I love biore sunscreen and naturie moisturizer :)) jskincare products are the best!
Thank you for posting! I have recently discovered your videos. I was curious to know if you use any products with retinols/retinoids in your routines. I see niaciamide from your favorite serum, and vitamin C, but no retinol/retinoids 🥲 wondering if I missed it or you don’t use it much
The Melano CC might actually work for me when I go biking. Out there, I don’t care if I look as white as a ghost, as long as I’m protected from the sun 😂
Hi Gorgeous 🫶 can you help me which is better for my very oily face.. Naturie Hatomugi or Matsukiyo Ceramide or Kikumasamune..? I hope you can help me please 🫶❤️🫰😊
What is the point of a sheet mask that you put on for 1 minute? Is there a need for the sheet at that point? Won't applying just the product do the trick? Just seems wasteful🤷♀️
Japanese products don't have english labels that's why they are losing to korean labels. I mean they are good brands and formulations but people don't have a clue about what the products are for! This need to change!

You are right… Japanese bloggers don’t have English subtitles! Would be happy if you can do more reviews on Japanese cosmetics :)
That is such a fresh video I love when you incorporate jbeauty !!! I personally think you should mix both k and j beauty together for your hits and misses
would definitely love you doing j-skincare and k-skincare separately! it would be really helpful when we wanna focus on a particular one.
Thanks as always for the video! Having a mixed video of Japanese and Korean hits and misses is fine by me!
as helpful as always
The Melano CC serum is incredible! Applying it right now as I watch this video!
I like the idea of doing a mixed hits and misses!

Will you please share cruelty free options? Will help consumers like me.

How did you like the Unlabel vitamin C serum?
Hiii Tina! I miss your videos
Where do you buy your J-Beauty products here in Oz?
Hi tina , have you try the celimax dual barriar toner or yam root milk toner?
I like the C sunscreen. I let it sit for a bit and then apply some lightweight makeup and it looks great.
I'm currently in Japan, I would like to buy 2-3 spf 50, which one should I get? 🙏🤔
The Melano CC might actually work for me when I go biking. Out there, I don’t care if I look as white as a ghost, as long as I’m protected from the sun 😂
I love love your lipstick color!!! Can you please tell me which one did you use? 🙏🏻
It’s in the description box- the amuse jel-fit tint in 08 gorgeous mauve.

I love you!
J beauty!!
When I watch this I want to go to Matsukiyo lol
prefer alternating version, as I mostly into Japanese products and having them mixed feel like a waste of time watching

💙💙💙
Are these products animal cruelty free?
There are matsukiyo in Hong Kong so drugstore level j beauty tends to be more relevant and interesting than k beauty for me
❤❤❤

She is kinda look like Pakistani actress Hania Amir😮😍
