Great video, Warro, thanks. I owned a Suzuki DR650SE for 9 years and 40,000 Ks, and they were street/hwy kilometers, no off-road. In fact I would have seriously considered the GB350 back when I was looking at the DR. I've recently been looking around for a replacement for the DR, but one of the main conditions of buying something is I do NOT want shim/bucket valve adjustment (I had a CB1100F back in the 80s which I used to get serviced at Sharp Tune, in Dandenong, to adjust its valve shims, and that added to the TCO). However, I used to service the DR myself every 4-5,000 ks, or no later than 9 months, and check/adjust the tappets around 10K. My bike never saw the inside of a bike shop! And when I sold it I got half of what I originally paid, plus it needed new tyres and rego! The DR wasn't really a highway cruiser, I'd have to crouch down on the tank to avoid as much of the draft from any oncoming trucks, lest I got blown all over the road. The speed limit where I currently live is only 100KP/H and these days I have no interest in breaking it, as long as I can stay ahead of the cars. I look forward to your highway video. Cheers, Warro Dash
thanks. next clip up is it cruising along at highway speed. almost forgot...i didn't turn off the traction control either so overall it got up to speed pretty well for a light throttle hit. by the way did you check out the suzuki vstrom 250 sx. that bike runs well and is roughly about $1250 cheaper.
Nice bike! What we need retro style simple , fairly priced bikes . Be cool if they could do larger size for bit more speed besides that it’s great bike to see them make
its actually a very tight lane that one nearly just a one car run. power wise it sort of puts it down in 2nd and 3 rd gear. not hard on it in this clip but you can tell just before i cut back the throttle it was starting to get going. ant good point too. near virtually a vibe free motor too. very smooth indeed
The Triumph 400's arrived last week & alreay sold out everywhere most to Pre-orders & they're taking pre-orders for next shipment arriving late March.Been hearing good things from outside India. R.E & Triumph seem to have more issues in India than in the West 🤔 makes you wonder export bikes built to higher quality & explain the low price in India.A Interceptor 650 only sells for about $4000nz in India & cost 11k in nz.
yeah i think they will or hopefully will be pretty good bikes. i think your interceptor prices are roughly equal to oursi still think the pick of the small stuff is the suzuki vstrom 250 sx. must admit though this honda is very low on vibes and i mean lower than a classic 350 reborn. its not far behind a 650 interceptor there. very close. unlike the cb500x's or the hammering crf300l which you know i had both - this is a pretty well behaved bike but party is over once 5th gear is engaged.
I get the impression that both manufacturers have used the Indian market as guinea pigs. They got the bixe about 6 months before everyone else so initial problems could be ironed out before selling elsewhere.
@@simonchilli2088 in my case i suppose i can always buy one whenever if i decide too later. in fact the dealer is still holding onto my deposit for the 400x...lol
Thanks 👍 plus i bet the crawfish are out and running in that creek now. last time i looked the water was extremely low and showing heaps of crawfish holes...not the case today
i think its easily a far better ride experience and very little on the vibe side too. the hunter i class more as a gtown up grom which i alsdo have in the 5 speed model. so both are fun rides. compared to a hunter 350 the gb350 is probably not as good in outright $$$ value but still is a well put together bike.
maybe...lol i ran that little burst with traction control on too. i will have to switch it off and compare. i think its strong point is in the first 3 gears to get it over 100 kph will give it another couple of hundred klm on the clock and then give it one hard run...lol
Love this bike! I hope it will come to Europe, anytime!
I hope so too!
Sounds great. Looks like a very nice turning radius too.
Thanks 👍 yeah its a pretty tight squeeze to do a turn on that road

That would be cool!
Lovely looking bike and great scenery mate 🙂🏍🇬🇧👍🌞
Glad you enjoyed it. more to come
Good one, Warro! The bike seems to have a reasonably tight turning circle and decent acceleration for its size and type. Looks nice, too. 👍

@@ridewithwarro Sounds promising for when it's run in.
Seems like you’re loving the new Honda! 🎉

@@ridewithwarro He sounds a bit cheeky!
You know buddy, it’s growing on me slowly.
For a gravel road, what’s better the Honda or any R.E ?
as of now i've only done a few klm on gravel but shortly i plan to give in one real good run and find out. so test there coming soon
Nice looking bike ,wish they made a 500 version and thankyou for showing the 0 to 80 kmh .
No problem 👍 next clip up will be cruising the highway, 500 version in single or twin would be spot on. bike is near vibe free ride too
Great clip mate 👍

How does the ride compare to the Hunter.
It looks and sounds good but is it worth the extra money in your opinion, having ridden both bikes.

Wonder if that was the first time a Honda was fanged along that road Warro?
