I enjoy your channel and commentary.
But let's face it, we'll never see ten clips on this bike, just like we haven't seen 20 on the 500 , or the camping videos , or the funny stories.
Best to not have an expectation and express that to your subs.
I know this will get your hackles up and you'll say piss off then but c'mon, finish something.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

only fair i answer you as you are truly a long term follower so i will address your concerns
      so heres how it goes.
first off i see two things wrong with my channel. either i am totally boring or i attract quite a few jealous people. hows that you say? well ive bought 69 brand new motorcycles over past 12 years and a guy who 1. is tight and doesnt want to spend money or the other who cant - doesnt like that i buy all these bikes
so they come and look and even though i ask them on most clips to sub and hit the like - they are an extremely jealous bunch of specimens and do absolutely ZERO.
now lets take that 500 series. i am up to part 6 now. best info on the web for classic 500 owners. the so called youtube gurus know nothing and cant help either. i went through 15 classic 500 new from 2012 to 2020. plus i actually know everything about them or most of the problem stuff.
so i put up with the sh/it from one bike wonders who say-mine has no frame crack/mine doesnt wobble.mine doesnt vibrate etc -all this crap from one bike wonders who know NOTHING!
i then ask give it a like to help the clip up in main stream. so i score 600 looks and i get 60 or 80 thumbs up. not worth the effort. i put up another clip and ask the same....no dice again.
so its like this if i was hitting rock bottom got on the tube a cried for help i'd get heaps to chime in a give it a thumbs up and write a long comment just so they can feel good BUT i'm not doing it tough -never said i was-ask for non of that patreon or buy me some poison crap and still cant score enough thumbs up to get JUST ONE CLIP up on mainstream to get the series rocking.
camping side next. i actually spent aud$4000 on camping gear and put huge amount of time into those clips too -again asked for nothing but a comment and thumbs up. in return i got virtually nothing expect a heavy $$ loss and a pack of camping stuff in the end room never used and gathering dust.
this you might find hard to believe but i have actually lost well over $200,000 buying stuff like new bikes and camping and camera gear to try and get this channel up and running. i bet a lot would quit if they lost a $1000...lol
by the way those big guys on the tube get the support money from ads patreon and coffee money etc and that buys their new bikes.
not me i buy all my own stuff. in return my ad revenue per clip i think is roughly $3 to $5..lol bit of a joke really
ive seen big youtubers cry poor and ask for hand outs. so i look at the stats then see one million views/750k/500k views
one million views equals roughly $4000 in ad revenue alone but they never mention that side and still want more. so just one good clip is worth $4k what if your a top creator and you have near that number clip after clip...lol
my word is pretty good really and if i had not been honest during my reviews on bikes etc i'd have a lot more followers/subs but i gotta tell it how i see it and they dont like it.
i will be doing 10 clips on this bike -i may try another coffee roadside camp series near winter. no overnight stuff
the main thing is if id got 10,000 views or even 5000 views per clip everything would have went to plan but for a few hundred looks im really left swinging...lol
plus i forgot one thing. i got several comments while doing the camping telling me if i continue they will unscribe as they subscribed to motorcycling only.
you didnt see those as if i get threaten on how to run my channel well i just delete and block that person and problem solved.
after you read this im sure you'll see its not an easy life on the tube...lol but im still trying

Collect mine from local Tamworth Honda Honda dealer just after Christmas. Couldn’t get insurance for a week as bike wasn’t on the register yet, ended up with Honda insurance abt $540.
Since then have run in and had the first service, 1,600ks so far.
    Impressions so far, love ❤it.
90% of my ridding is on highway being in the country, with 95% of that being two up. Let’s just say I got it for a Christmas present:-).
Have added a few extras, crash bars, medium screen, saddle bags(old leather, rev counter-hr meter mounted on handle bars ($20), on order still fork gators, rear rack and tank rubbers.
Only complaint came from the pillion (not enough room) this was solved with the split seat and extra two inches longer. Honda Aust don’t import so ordered from a top dealer in India arrived in a week (genuine Honda part) $340.
She holds 100 ks + mst of the time, the Moonbi’s 3rd two up but that’s a bloody steep hills. Love the sound, top is over geared may fix that later. Average 35k/ltr.
I’m in my late 70’s been riding for 60+ years, had triumphs, kwakers etc plus 1980 Enfield 500 Bullet.
Went for the Honda instead of Enfield Bullet Classic after spending hrs on Indian bullet to keep going. Quality.
    Cheers
    Brian

over the years ive been over moonbi's a few times and indeed they are a steep run of hills. pretty impressive really. sounds like you have bought all available options too
yeah insurance on new bikes is always an issue toill the companies catch up with a few sales inquiries.
plus that overall kpl at 35 is still quite good too.
ive never liked the stock seat from day one so i think that is something i will look into later myself
good to hear after 1600 klm your enjoying the gb350 experience too

An honest first time review Warro. Always the way you do things, much appreciated. I definitely think it really needs time to loosen up before you off load it. The most strangest thing is & I might be blind with this but, I swear every time you indicated left or right, the same flashing light flashed showing you indicated but not a left or right arrow on the dash! Is this right? Or are the arrows real close to each other? At least it has a gear indicator 😉
Personally, the Classic RE craps all over this in looks. Though, the dark blue looks great!

i have good and bad news but first your right- the classic is well ahead in the looks and ride dept. i also think there is NO other bike out there with the charactor and feel good of the classic - gulp!...my favourite bike...lol
the bad news - sorry straight after i shot this clip i fueled up and pointed it out the road and did a 100 klm run..lol including 15 klm dirt. i had to know would it stay.
the good- bike ran well for a new one. couple of issues only minor but best of all did run 60 kph on the dirt and handled it well.
see i cant be trusted...i had to know?

Hey Warro, I own a GB350 too. Got about 750km on mine so far. A few things I'd love to hear you talk about at some point.
    1. There appears to be no accessories available at the moment. Honda had a whole bunch available at launch, but they've been completely removed from the web site as of 2 weeks ago and my dealer seems to not know when they're coming back. Did you happen to hear anything from your dealer about this? I'm keen to get a rear rack & USB-C port.
    2. Starting from cold my GB350 seems to have quite a high idle speed until I get a few blocks up the road. Does yours do this too? This is my first motorbike so I'm not sure if this is normal/expected or not (been on scooters before this).
    3. You spoke a little bit about the Enfield being able to putt around town in 3rd gear. Would be keen to hear a bit more about how you reckon it compares to the GB350. Mine feels like it lugs a bit in 2nd gear when I get to 20kmh or below.
    4. I watched your videos on how to check the valves on the Enfields. At some point, maybe when the warranty period is finished, I'd love to have a crack at servicing this thing myself.
    5. The dunlop tyres. Do you reckon they're any good? For example, on a scooter most folks would say swap out the stock tyres for Michelin City Grip 2's.
    6. Fuel economy. I live in inner Sydney. The display on my GB350 says I use around 2.3L/100km but tracking it myself I've so far used around 2.6L/100km. Would be keen to hear what kind of mileage you get out your way.
Side note: There are instructions in the manual for turning the economy light off if it's bothering you. Also, I have to admit, I love the heel/toe shifter. :)

It'll be a different bike once it's got a few miles on it and everything has loosened up.
The Himalayan was like that, very tight engine, now it's got a few miles on the clock it's much better. I usually cruise around the 60\65 mph mark but it'll happily bop along at 70mph fully loaded with panniers and top box fitted.
