I think this totally down to personal preference. You want an authentic looking 50s machine? Choose the RE. The Honda has a more modern look and is easier to clean. Both look good bikes. I don’t think you’ll regret it if you buy either.
I have a 2019 Grom that I'm soon to sell due to loving my Classic 350 reborn. It also has a sports exhaust & sounds great, especially at idle, but moving under load, my RE with a sports exhaust kills it. I was surprised by your love of the Vespa as that's another bike I may own one day. As for the RE vs. Honda, the RE kills it. I looked at a Honda CB300 before getting the RE & it was like 30hp & 148kg. But this Honda still needs a rev & is way heavier & less powerful. The RE is the real deal & it's great Honda are having a go & attracting people that wouldn't trust an RE, but for me I'll stick to my RE which has an led headlight, indicators & aftermarket exhaust. In a few more years, I may try the Vespa!
First impressions I think the Honda looks a really good the only thing is the clock and I’ve seen the colour schemes they look great 😊 Being dying to see these together Well done on ya Warro
Bought my GB350 in early December. Liked the minimalist classic looks, and figure that it will be bullet proof being a Honda. Done 2000kms and very happy with it. Done a couple of rides through the hills in South Gippsland and it handled it nicely. The drive train and brakes have settled in nicely. I don’t have the rattling seat issue.
great to hear. i plan to give this one a few good runs in all areas in a few upcoming clips. my fuel economy to date is 43.7 -hows yours holding up. when did go in for the first service. just curious do they have readily available oil filters for them in stock
It’s showing 42.6, but I reckon actual is probably closer to 40. First service done at 1020kms and no issues with parts. Though I booked in early and gave the dealer 4 weeks notice. The only annoying thing I’ve found about this bike is that every where I stop folks want to stop me and chat about it (actually I don’t mind).
@@desmcd1515 either way good mileage to the klm. what did they charge for the first service. if on the enfield it would have been pretty steep $$$ wise as they do a valve check. i actually plan to ride this on quite a bit of dirt. had it on already and it runs well in that area

G'day Warro, going on Honda's history of producing quality motorcycles l would pick the Honda over the Royal Enfield but, owning a classic looking chrome Royal Enfield bike and the quality now produced out of the Indian factory and the head turning style, it's the Royal Enfield l would pick to ride most times, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
yeah if this was the old days of the classic 500 -i'd say its a no contest and the reliability of the honda would be tops. now the new "J" serious and the 650's are out enfield is making pretty good bikes.
Hi, that's a great looking bike, I'm hoping that Honda will bring it to the UK, although I suspect if it does come here, it will be more expensive than the Hunter 350, I also agree with @borderlands6606 about the Matt finish on the paint, Honda have always been known for their paint finish & quality, so that is a bit of a shame.
I have Hness in India. Honda is easier to ride in traffic due to slipper clutch & offers better refinement at higher speeds. 2024 version Indian Hness now comes with dual seat as standard.
I have a 350cc RE Thunderbird KS only and hAve previously owned a Honda CX500. I saw the GB Honda 350 at the dealer yesterday. It looked bigger than the RE 350 Classic. Like you. I did not like the brown seat and dark blue matte color of the GB Honda 350.
The Classic is the clear winner... The Honda looks cheap and doesn`t sound as good as the Enfield. The Enfield also has much better mid range power and that is why you thought that the Honda was gutless. And when will Honda realise that no one likes the horn and the indicator switches in the wrong place!!!
yeah i had that horn issue with the crf300 and all 4 cb500x's...lol plus i think the forza 350 scooter too..lol yeah the enfield kills it in the mid range but i think the honda gets it in fuel economy and maybe pickup around yown in first 3 gears
That honda is making me nervous, Warrior. That petrol breakdown is 101 MPG. That is the mileage of a moped. I cannot even imagine that number when the Himalayan is at 68 MPG all day long. That is roughly 33% more efficient. How do they do that.😂 I realize MPL or MPG is based on many factors. I need to see one in person. To sit on it and try to experience the feel. The Gentleman " on two feet" from Arizona did the 1000 mile iron butt on a Himalayan. He sold it and purchased the CRF 300St or sx...the trail model. Apparently easier to ride and throw around. I love Enfield but the other guy is slipping threw the back door.
yeah i dont know how accurate that gauge reads and i think its saying i still have either 300 or 400 more klm in the tank. if i could score 500 klm to a tank that would get me to places and back with no fill ups. feels a bit more compact and lighter than the classic 350 is it a better bike....hard call there but i will have a much better idea when i do longer runs and dirt roading...lol
yeah they sort of rip us off here...lol i recall when i had the honda ct125 trails. they were $7800 here and heavily overpriced for 125cc and i think your way about usd$3000 but i think they thought if classic 350 brings aud$8k then we can get that for the honda too...lol
Had mine for a year and a half all weathers ride commuter weekdays and and long distance 4-5 hour round trips weekends…just great fun to be on without all the drama of the bike wanting to go too fast and looking and feeling good while doing it. Never skipped a beat@@ridewithwarro
I like the looks of the royal Enfield it looks more retro but if I have to buy one I would buy the Honda because the Japanese motorcycles are the most reliable
@@ridewithwarro it's the smallest I have ever owned but I am surprised it goes pretty good for his small engine size and modest specs. Actually it goes as good as Yamaha scorpio 225cc and Suzuki tu250x which is air cooled and fuel injected as well
G'Day Warro, If you don't mind me saying so, I reckon most of your regular followers will expect you to heavily favor the Enfield. Let's face it there's probably no-body on the Planet who has had MORE Royal Enfield bikes that you and it seems fortuitous at the same time R/E has emerged as a well regarded business making a quality product. So here we are, you are now tasking yourself with a difficult comparison in which it is essential you be FAIR. I have a C5 fitted with an Indian made KOZI Sidecar, a 150 Sym Scooter and a CB 125E which I bought after seeing you on your daughters bike a year ago. I was the importer of the sidecars and between 2012 and 2017 I was importing them by the container until a boating accident stopped me. My view of the two bikes you are comparing is both have barely 20 HP, a bit skinny, my Honda has 10.7 HP and less weight. 350's made in the 1970's had 30 to 40 Hp, more like it, I reckon.
todays 350's are indeed short on power output to say the least...lol all good on the review side and as the clips go by i will give both of them a fair chance...lol never ridden a bike with sidecar but i'd say its an experience. all the best

have not wrung it out yet but i feel its power delivery is really in the first 3 gears
I think this totally down to personal preference. You want an authentic looking 50s machine? Choose the RE. The Honda has a more modern look and is easier to clean. Both look good bikes. I don’t think you’ll regret it if you buy either.
...or they could cover all bases and just buy both...lol
In a few more years, I may try the Vespa!
always good to experience something different.
Indeed :)@@ridewithwarro
Imagine a V twin engine based on the cylinder/head of the Honda, would look great and make a fantastic 700 or so cc engine.
That would be cool!
First impressions I think the Honda looks a really good the only thing is the clock and I’ve seen the colour schemes they look great 😊
Being dying to see these together
Well done on ya Warro
i ran it 90 klm this morning. has 210 klm on clock now.
@@ridewithwarro
Look forward to seeing the video 🙌
Hope you found it enjoyable
BTW - we have similar taste. My other bike is a 400cc Piaggio scooter. Great around town and getting to work.
@@desmcd1515 either way good mileage to the klm. what did they charge for the first service.
if on the enfield it would have been pretty steep $$$ wise as they do a valve check.
i actually plan to ride this on quite a bit of dirt. had it on already and it runs well in that area
@@desmcd1515 i totally disliked scooter a couple of years back...lol take into account too id never been on one either.
then i decided to buy one try it out and in fact i am taking the vespa out later today-because its a great easy ride experience
nothing wrong with the scoots...lol
When is the Honda coming to uk?
sometimes they say there niot and then they arrive
Honda looks competent but this style of Bike is REs specialty. I would take the RE
the enfield is certainly popular thats for sure. all the best!
Honda have really messed up with the speedo display, but I do like the rest of it.
yeah its alright, not as cool as the vespa but i think it will do what i want from it
Honda is good looking from the side, but when you get a bit closer.....a bit like some of my ex's. Anyway, in Thailand it's quite a bit more expensive than the Classic. The Classic would be the one for me@@ridewithwarro
@@keddw i think the classic is the more easy relax ride but i did 90 klm on the honda this morning and it ran well
GB350 or Honda Grom
Which is the better bike in terms of a city runabout?
I have the same Grom & the 1st model love em to bits❤
how about an easy question....lol we both know the grom is indeed a fun bike and actually brings out the kid in you. if one wants just pure fun and kid they are 15 again...the grom is the bike...lol
@@ridewithwarro .. Only reason I don’t pull a sickie , the ride to work is a hoot & don’t get me onto lane splitting on the peak hour harbour bridge traffic.. eats Tesla’s in traffic 😂
@@suomalainentalvi2792 yeah i can see the fun factor there. the grom will easily beat the new honda trail 125
i had two of those and the grom is better and half the price.
i might put off road tyres on that yellow one and head dirt...lol
G'day Warro, going on Honda's history of producing quality motorcycles l would pick the Honda over the Royal Enfield but, owning a classic looking chrome Royal Enfield bike and the quality now produced out of the Indian factory and the head turning style, it's the Royal Enfield l would pick to ride most times, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.
yeah if this was the old days of the classic 500 -i'd say its a no contest and the reliability of the honda would be tops.
now the new "J" serious and the 650's are out enfield is making pretty good bikes.
Honda should come up with twin cylinder line up in CB series retro bike models from 125 cc to 400 CC.
true.great thoughts there.twin would be nice
Hi, that's a great looking bike, I'm hoping that Honda will bring it to the UK, although I suspect if it does come here, it will be more expensive than the Hunter 350, I also agree with @borderlands6606 about the Matt finish on the paint, Honda have always been known for their paint finish & quality, so that is a bit of a shame.
the indian bikes have some great colours. not sure what honda was thinking..... if at all.
Didn’t know that the GB was available in Oz? ❤
came here about 3 weeks back i think
Classic 350...no comparison.
or both...lol
I have Hness in India. Honda is easier to ride in traffic due to slipper clutch & offers better refinement at higher speeds. 2024 version Indian Hness now comes with dual seat as standard.
interesting on the duel seat. even closer now to the classic 350 reborn
Honda a beautiful machine + a reliable work horse 😳❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🔥🔥‼️‼️🌟🌟🌟🌟
No doubt!
I have a 350cc RE Thunderbird KS only and hAve previously owned a Honda CX500.
I saw the GB Honda 350 at the dealer yesterday. It looked bigger than the RE 350 Classic. Like you. I did not like the brown seat and dark blue matte color of the GB Honda 350.
given the choice i'd preferred a solid colour. i had enfields in matte colous and i dont think they look as good
Ahhh very nice
good to hear you appreciate fine machinery
The Classic is the clear winner... The Honda looks cheap and doesn`t sound as good as the Enfield. The Enfield also has much better mid range power and that is why you thought that the Honda was gutless. And when will Honda realise that no one likes the horn and the indicator switches in the wrong place!!!
yeah i had that horn issue with the crf300 and all 4 cb500x's...lol plus i think the forza 350 scooter too..lol
yeah the enfield kills it in the mid range but i think the honda gets it in fuel economy and maybe pickup around yown in first 3 gears
That honda is making me nervous, Warrior. That petrol breakdown is 101 MPG. That is the mileage of a moped. I cannot even imagine that number when the Himalayan is at 68 MPG all day long. That is roughly 33% more efficient. How do they do that.😂
I realize MPL or MPG is based on many factors. I need to see one in person. To sit on it and try to experience the feel.
The Gentleman " on two feet" from Arizona did the 1000 mile iron butt on a Himalayan. He sold it and purchased the CRF 300St or sx...the trail model. Apparently easier to ride and throw around. I love Enfield but the other guy is slipping threw the back door.
yeah i dont know how accurate that gauge reads and i think its saying i still have either 300 or 400 more klm in the tank.
if i could score 500 klm to a tank that would get me to places and back with no fill ups.
feels a bit more compact and lighter than the classic 350
is it a better bike....hard call there but i will have a much better idea when i do longer runs and dirt roading...lol
The Honda looks great but yet totally wrong side by side with the Enfield
yeah its a bit hard to expect the best when you park a matte bike against a chrome...lol
but by itself it looks fine
First! Very cool Warro!
So close!
Honda $5000 Aus here in Malaysia . Royal Enfield $7500.
yeah they sort of rip us off here...lol i recall when i had the honda ct125 trails. they were $7800 here and heavily overpriced for 125cc and i think your way about usd$3000
but i think they thought if classic 350 brings aud$8k then we can get that for the honda too...lol
Even with a good bore stroke relationship Honda just never has proper low end torque.
yeah theres an issue there for sure. it does get up and go in the first 3 gears
First two seconds thought the Honda looked better….then after as the vid progressed, the classic reborn is the clear winner
hard to beat the colour and shape of the tank on that classic 350
Had mine for a year and a half all weathers ride commuter weekdays and and long distance 4-5 hour round trips weekends…just great fun to be on without all the drama of the bike wanting to go too fast and looking and feeling good while doing it. Never skipped a beat@@ridewithwarro
@@wavehuntersjapan you must have clocked quite a few klm on it too
A frw clicks, yes and all done with a big smile on my face@@ridewithwarro
@@wavehuntersjapan yeah i did 13k on my other one but im planing on fiting the performace cam to this one
R.E. Classic😍
that too...lol
Not available in the USA ,video end
maybe not yet but several bikes have been not available and get there. if the honda ct125 trail can get there i see no reason whty this one can't
The Honda looks like a triumph.
actually does a bit too. all the best
I like the looks of the royal Enfield it looks more retro but if I have to buy one I would buy the Honda because the Japanese motorcycles are the most reliable
good to hear you enjoyed the look over the bikes
@@ridewithwarro I just bought a bike like yours .
I bought a
2023 Honda cb 125F
@@souhailshamaissem7564 great. good bike. enjoy the experience
@@ridewithwarro it's the smallest I have ever owned but I am surprised it goes pretty good for his small engine size and modest specs.
Actually it goes as good as Yamaha scorpio 225cc and Suzuki tu250x which is air cooled and fuel injected as well
@@souhailshamaissem7564 yeah i had it in some rough country on a run to the macquiare river. took it well
The Honda is a lot better looking and also a lot better built and obviously a higher quality bike. A total winner in this case. No argument there.
great to hear from a honda fan
@ridewithwarro not a honda fan. Even as a neutral. Thats a fact
@@lauralassan325 always good to have choices i say.
350's made in the 1970's had 30 to 40 Hp, more like it, I reckon.
todays 350's are indeed short on power output to say the least...lol all good on the review side and as the clips go by i will give both of them a fair chance...lol
never ridden a bike with sidecar but i'd say its an experience.
all the best
To me, Honda looks like a cheap copy.
may be a copy but unfortunately ...not a cheap copy....lol
@@stephenhadley2490 ive never seen one of those i will have to take a look on bikesales
They do a 350 rs version which looks a lot better quality.
Yeah cheap like u
U know nothing about the legacy of honda CB series so better shut ur mouth lol😆😆😆😆
They both look good spokes look good but Alloys are more practical incase of a puncture & cleaning. The Honda brakes should get better after 3-400km.Enfield looks better.
all good now mate. i gave it a few hard brakes and now at 210 klm and they are working quite well.
power appears in first 3 gears and tapers off after that
The honda is like the ugly step-sister to the Enfield!
well when you put two bueties together one always falls short...lol
