- Stephanie at Hightower Stitching discusses a current quilt with small 6" blocks made of a center, 4- 2 color rectangles, and 4 - half triangle squares
and surrounded by 1 1/2" patches. Colors always make a difference, but this is a surprising set of blocks!

This is such a nice block. You have a great eye for picking blocks. I like how you use the larger leader fabric when starting to sew. Makes sense! The small scraps I use are annoying.
And I try to choose a fabric I like...along with a block (with possibilities). This is a different block.
