It's by Fabric Editions Dream Patchwork or Dream Rainbows or Dream Animals those are the names of the 3 prints 😊

The sashing may not have stretched. The feed-dogs feed in the fabric a bit more when the top fabric is sewn. That may account for the overage. To avoid 'stretching' pin at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the strip (or more if the strip is long).

I’ve been told that fabric pieces on that are on the bottom when stitched will become shorter because of the feed dogs. I’ve have found this does happen soyou should have a longer piece on the bottom. Thanks for sharing your creation with us.

Hi, Tiffany! Love that baby quilt! What’s the story of the wonderful quilt and ribbbon on the wall behind you?

Prayers to the family but can I be really really frank here? These panel quilts 9 times outta 10 end up at a thrift store for pennies, usually well under $10. I don't see this as a HUGE time-savings; I would get 2-3 coordinating 'warrior fabrics' on-sale and use those to make a WOW quilt. I also would do a label and NOT a big name embroidery thing--this way if the recipients dislike it (OR it reminds them later of this awful time in their lives) they can easily regift or donate it to a thrift. It cannot be reused easily with the baby's name on it this way. Sorry to be so blunt but this work while gorgeous does not show the LABOR put into it at all. Sorry for being so honest.
Since it was for a client, I just do what they want. I know what you mean though, so many quilts end up in thrift stores.
You did a beautiful job on the baby quilt! I love the embroidered name! I made a quilt for a boy using a panel and pieced letters to add his name which worked well if one doesn’t have an embroidery machine. You are very inspiring! Keep up the good work that you do. God bless! Cindy

It is from Walmart its Fabric Editions brand
When will you press your fabric to get the where? It was folded marks out of the edge of the fabrics. When do you do that
Most times I press before I cut. But sometimes those lines don't go away till I use water spray.

just used the letters on the machine and had to hoop and un hoop to adjust to do the whole name on the embroidery machine

The letters were what comes built into my machine. I have a Brother PRS100 and it came with many fonts and such.
