- This week, we're a little more optimistic that Spring is right around the corner. In the many years that the shop was open, we noticed that this time of year, a lot of you came in to get ideas and fabrics for baby quilts. So, we spent this past week whipping up several baby quilts that might work for a little one in your family or friend circle. Obviously, if it only took us a week to do all 10, then none of these are a trial!

Wow! Look at all that Kansas Troubles fabric behind you in the store... none of the quilt shops that I go in to, carry that anymore, as it's too dated and old... but I still love their greens...can't find those lovely greens in all the new and modern fabric lines anymore!

I am looking for a larger mat than the 24x36. Your yellow looks large, can you tell me what brand it is and what size it it? I am looking for the self healing. Cool cutes. I just wanted to say girls like dinosaurs and trucks and cars. I always did, I’m 64 and a professional engineer. I was lucky my parents raised us as human beings and didn’t stick to the stereotypes, otherwise I wouldn’t be making 6 figures and a subject matter expert. Don’t get me wrong, I love my dragonflies, flowers, and pink, but love my earth moving trucks. It’s not BS to make gender neutral baby quilts that aren’t yellow or mint. I try to make them interesting.
