Excellent videos on the subject. You convinced me to do this upgrade for my '15 M6 Scat Pack. Just ordered the Barton shifter that was just on sale heard many good things about it. I got about 33k on my challenger, wheel hop wasn't that noticeable when new, but man it's proven to be unnacceptable for any kind of decently applied power. Completely agree these cars should have been engineered with stiffer bushings from the jump.

Great job! I’ll be using your method on mine in the near future! Side note - I see you still have your stock shifter. If you want to pick up 60ft and not skip shift consider a Barton Shifter. Highly recommend that brand, very over engineered and incredible reliability. Expensive but I’m telling you, well worth the money spent! Have fun, keep modding!!

I’ve been eyeing up that Barton shifter for while now! I haven’t heard one bad thing about it. Cheers!

I second that! I love my Barton, and after you get it installed, you realize how much the stock one sucked.

@@bringer0frain994 One of the first things I did to my '09 was swapping in a Barton short shifter and it makes a world of difference. I love it!

I got the BMR poly bushings for my 19 GT for the cradle and for the 3.70 Hellcat diff I'm going to swap into it. I have the Whiteline bushings for all the rest of the suspension in the back, plus the BMR 25mm hollow rear sway bar while I'm in there.

Should handle really well. Your car will feel super solid with that setup!

I'm impressed...Are the new bushings made of polyurethane?..Are you getting more road noise? Thanks for posting, my low mile Challenger hops bad.

They are made of synthetic elastomer. Whiteline says they're supposed to feature the ride quality of rubber at lower speeds and react under load for chassis control. It was hard to explain what they felt like, they seemed like rubber but not like rubber if that makes sense! haha

@@TrackPackRT like "high durometer rubber" is what you mean.

I live in the Edmonton area, wheel hop broke the axles in my 2015 challenger rt. So I have done everything to the rear I can. Bmr cradle lock out diff poly bushings. 4 aftermarket arms with poly bushings. And bolt for the lower control arm. Then I did and upgraded rear sway bar and lowering springs. Then did skip shift elimination with Barton short shift. Still waiting on axles but then I will be giving her some torture testing

      Also did the differential brace

That’s exactly what I was scared would happen to me, which is why I opted for the cradle bushings. I’m happy to report with just the whiteline bushings and the bmr LTAs my wheel hop is 100% gone! Good luck with your car, it’ll handle amazing when you’re done!

That’s awesome! I got to do a burnout and I still have some wheel hop and I can see my engine jumping around through the shaker hood. So I got so diagnostics to do

whats the difference between white line cradle bushings and cradle lock out from BMR?

  • @SrtChargerOldMan

I ordered those white line bushings for my charger it’s the last thing I should have to do for suspension mods I’m just gonna stay with an open differential I don’t care about no slip most the Time both tires burn. There are a couple of shops by me in Glendora California. They know how to get them out and install the new ones it’s really hard to find people that know how to do that.

I'd say it's a must do for any Hemi LX car, but it's not super common. I know when I was looking at shops to do it they were quoting in the $800 range to do the install, not including the cost of the bushings themselves. I thought maybe I'd take a crack at it myself with some help. Not only did we find a better way of doing it, it went really smooth too. Plus it gave me some good info to share with you guys.

My challenger has terrible wheel hop. I can’t drop the clutch and spin the tires without hop. Would this fix that issue?

    • @TrackPackRT
      @TrackPackRT  3 ปีที่แล้ว

My wheel hop is completely gone! I can’t recommend the cradle bushings enough!
