    Hey Chris. Got those Billets mounted..PIA
    How does this Lock-out mod feel to you? Do you think this will help, or solve your D/S issues? Adding this to my build sheet. I am building up my shop with all the parts for my E85 build. Once I have everything, I will send the supercharger out to Brett@jokers
    I just want to take the whole car apart once, and do everything.
    Figure by keeping tune to 75-80% I can minimize breakage and down time. Keep those vids coming. Very helpful..Be safe..

      Hey Andrew! Glad to hear you got them mounted. The lockout kit from what I'm told was made to minimize cradle movement, that way the driveshaft won't get pinched anymore. I'm still waiting on DSS to send me both carbon fiber shafts. Unfortunately haven't been able to drive the car since installing the lockouts. I'll be sure to post a video of the difference if I notice anything in the drivability.
      You'll do the 75%+ until you feel E85 for the first time💪

    • @KelleysGarageOfficial
      @KelleysGarageOfficial  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Correct. You don't want to completely drop the cradle. That way you don't have to remove the driveshaft and exhaust. Unless your plan is to do it all at once.

    Just watched this video and I am planning on doing the lockout on my 16 Charger Hellcat i know its an older video hope you see this! I have a few questions about the install! First i see you have the Per4mance diff brace i have the same one did you have to remove the top 2 bolts that bolt the brace to the cross member of the car to get the cradle to drop? Also since this video is a year old have you got a chance to drive it since installing and did you notice a difference in anyway? Thanks im gonna order the BMR kit right now !

      Loosen all four bolts. Use pry bars to pull it back, then tighten down while pulling back.. it's a 2-3 man job. 120 ft-lbs, then work up by 10 ft-lb increments in rotation to 160.

    • @KelleysGarageOfficial
      @KelleysGarageOfficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      The scb112 are the solid billet mounts and the scb110 are the cradle lockouts. If you street driver the car you're going to want to run the scb110 inserts not the scb112. Sorry for the late response it's difficult to get back to everyone in a timely manner.

    • @KelleysGarageOfficial
      @KelleysGarageOfficial  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Since this video was made I have changed from the lockouts to solid billet cradle mounts. You will still get movement with the lockout kit since you're not completely eliminating the rubber. However, the movement is dramatically reduced with the lockout kit.

    • @KelleysGarageOfficial

      You would not want that as a daily driver. The rear end is very noisy when you make it solid. The lockouts aren't bad at all, you don't even notice them aside from the added stability.

    Hello sir my factory driveshaft is currently making noise because the carrier bearing is missing. I was thinking of upgrading to the DSS aluminum. Which I understand is your current setup. Have you had an issues with it long term? I heard alot of complaints about noise and was not sure if this is the right move.

    • @KelleysGarageOfficial

      Hey Terrelle, I'm not running an aluminum driveshaft. It only lasted 3 pulls at the track before it decided to have a significant wobble. My recommendation would be to get a stock replacement or pick up a carbon fiber.
