But you do not know what happens if you try to remove this chinese tape after years. I chose a transparent paint protection film. Additionally, I bought a taylored protection cover for the edge.
The trunk protector you linked to on aliexpress seems to be more straight than yours which follows the bumper curvature of vw up.As you show it in the video your follows the bumper curvature perfect.How did you manage it?

It looks better that the one that I already installed in my car (th-cam.com/video/rEO2mZ-doOA/w-d-xo.html) I am also planning to upgrade mine with one that have a full display, WiFi and Android

Be careful that the tailgate edge does not rub on the protection. The paint will wear over time, then allow rust to appear
