Pay attention that 400 V in DC are dangerous (more than 200 V in DC can kill you). At least in what way do you think to connect/parallel that to the cars battery?

around 6:00 and 9:40 follwoing the sound is pretty broken or so when you explain the battery in the front of the trunk
battery resistance should become obsolete in case you use a diode which lets the energy flow only in one, the right direction
I know about the sound. I really sorry about it. My main sound source failed at that time
Your problem is the car bms that will for sure calculate the used energy and lock the maximum output amount it can deliver, you have to find a way to reprogram it.
Same problem as expensive e-bike...

I had abandoned this way of exchangeable 18650 batteries and went on to 51 Volt LiFePo4 battery but I guess that would not match requirements of a car, Those were 1600€ for 15 kWh. and had been 16 modules of the size of your PCB or even a bit less, but perfect block size to put them together.
are you using used cells ?
Check HBPowerwall channel who had gotten a battery that had burned on New years eve ... He is from australia and has tried to find out what had caused the burning .
Please use an Spot welder instead of soldering each cell. That would be better for the cells.
I will. It is faster and safer. I have one so that is not an issue
Are these optiins going to have also a BMS or you just ballance them initially and then maybe check from time to time?
I think this is a great idea for EVs.
At least to help with the heating in the cold season and to power the 12V accessories.

The battery pack should have the shape of the wheel holder
From what I read "spring" mounted cells offer too high contact resistance, coupled with car vibrations It doesn't seem like a good idea, maybe it'll do just to power the heater
This may be the case. To be honest I have no experience with this kind of modules. What I like in this design is that is very easy to build
sounds interesting, but what about crash proof it? if you get rearended by a car or worst, a truck, won't the battery be pierced and explode?
This batteries does not explodes so easy. They can explode the same way as the original ones in the car.

Аз лично не бих си направил такава батерия за кола, защото литеовойонните батерий са доста опасни при една малка катастрофа и ако се стигне до тях ще станат като фойерверки нагряват се до зачервяване и от вода горят повече
Честно казано аз не мисля че са по-опасни от бензина в резервоара. Но съм съгласен зе бензиновите коли са минали доста еволюция и са доста безопасни.
how you want to cool down this battery ? I think cold is not such problem as overheating.
This really depends of the heat that is generated.
