- How many killers were there in Scream 3? Even though it is revealed to just be one killer working on their own, the initial shooting script did include two killers, and most of the movie had already been filmed before the studio decided to change things up.

What is up Scream team! By popular demand, I have included an extra entry in this "Which Ghostface Killed Who" series, as you guys felt that Scream 3 should not have been neglected.
And since the starting production script did include two ghostface killers working together, with Angelina being revealed as Roman's accomplice and girlfriend, a lot of the movie had already been shot to correspond with the continuity of having a second killer.
If you guys have watched and enjoyed my other videos in this series, you will know that Wes Craven, the brilliant director he was, had a great eye for detail and worked overtime to make sure every direction and shot of every scene served a purpose and was an important brushstroke in the overall painting. While the original Scream was an undisputed masterpiece, the sequels haven't enjoyed quite the same level of praise. And even though everyone's Scream film rankings differ from fan to fan, Scream 3 is usually cited as the worst entry in the Scream franchise.
Most notably for its disjointed story and direction. And despite Wes Craven's best efforts, the studio wanted to rush the film into theatres, with executives making a lot of questionable creative decisions. With Kevin Williamson sitting this one out, they brought in writer Ehren Kruger last minute and after completing a draft, and rather than making a full revision, they essentially had him rewriting scenes at a time during production, in some cases on the day the scenes were to be shot. This was made even more complicated as they had to work around Neve Campbell's (Sidney Prescott) limited schedule, which is why her character isn't in a lot of the movie.
One of the biggest changes to the script was the removal of Angelina Tyler (Emily Mortimer) as the second killer, who would have been revealed alongside Roman Bridger (Scott Foley). So if you've ever watched the movie and wondered how Roman possessed Jason Voorhees like teleportation powers, it might just be because one of the ghostfaces on screen at the time was him, and the other one who mysteriously popped up seconds later at a completely different location, was Angelina.
Going by that logic, and how Wes Craven and Ehren Kruger had originally set out to make this movie (before studio meddling) Roman wouldn't have been the only killer (or the best ghostface) as some have credited him with for his high kill count. So if we take into account that Angelina was also complicit, that means we have to reevaluate the kills, and figure out who was ghostface in which scene / who was the killer in Scream 3 in relation to all deaths.
As always, I want to point out that this video is not meant to be 100% factual. I am not disputing the canon of Scream 3 by suggesting that Roman was not the only killer. I am merely pointing out that production had a different idea of the movie from the outset, and I am trying to use logic and reasoning to see where that would have effected the movie with the changes they made.
If you have your own evidence you would like to provide that either corroborates, or negates my findings, I am more than happy to have you comment them down below.

I definitely think it could have been Angelina when Sid pulls ghostface through that door way on the woodsborough set.. If you look how Sid is standing she is on the edge of a platform sideways and is hanging on by one arm.. I just can't imagine her having the strength to pull Roman so easily through since he's quite a stocky guy whilst Angelina is alot more thin and smaller
Hey Zack love your scream videos! Would love to get some vids on other horror movies. For instance the eating disorder theory in drag me to hell or a full vid on Dr Sam Loomis from Halloween and how he could be Sam Loomis in Psycho as well.
Here's my theory: Angelina was indeed the second killer. She freaked out on Gale and Jennifer and ran away so she could put her Ghost Face costume back on to help Roman but instead he surprised her and killed her so he could take all the credit in the end. There's no other way her decision to run away and separate from the group in a house with a literal murderer on the loose makes sense.
I really like this theory and I think it's true🙌
There's always rumors that she may pop up again, but there's also rumors that Stu is still alive so really who knows?

Dewey was hired as a consultant for Stab 3. Roman would have had multiple meetings and opportunities to access Dewey's phone. It's probably WHY Dewey was hired.

Yeah but if that's the case what was the point of killing Cotton Weary then at the beginning? He didn't know where Sidney was and at that time the stab production was going on and Dewey was working on set at the time.. When Gail comes to see Dewey on set to tell him the killer left a photo of sids mum he even says they already told him

Headcanon: They were both working together and the plan Roman told her was that she was supposed to run off from the others in fake hysteria so she could suit up and be operating as effectively as they did on the Stab 3 set. But Roman wanted to tie up a loose end so he just killed her then and there.

Offhand that actually makes sense to me. Once he didn't need her anymore because he was about to reveal himself to Sydney anyway, why bother keeping her alive? It's also obvious, as Sydney later indicts him, that Roman has some sadistic streak in him regardless of the personal reasons he claimed to have for setting this whole plot up in the first place, so I see him having no qualms about killing Angelina just for the heck of it, even if he wasn't afraid she'd become a loose end.
@M If that was the case, how come Roman (Scott Foley) was listed? He was the brain behind the operation and the de facto killer.

She is obviously the second killer. She just never admitted it bc im sure she's smarter than Roman. All the previous ghostface killers were killed so she was like "lol nah I'm not saying shit"

@Reyson Fox i think they originally wanted to use with her the same strategy used in the first film with Billy, like if i make it obvious that he is the killer people would think is too obvious so its probably fake and they end up surprised when they find he actually is the killer. Also i guess they made that scene in wich she is terrified knowing she wasnt going to be the killer as her death happened a few seconds later but i cant say the same for the rest of the film,in that film set there were 2 killers or 1 with teleportation, and most of her scenes are really weird for a secondary character who ends up doing nothing
Idk, it depends on how far the Dewey theory spans. If Dewey was ONLY involved with helping billy and Stu as a result of blackmail, this would explain why he has this "need" to always be near her and why he of all people would be the only one to have her number.
I didn't know about the script changes when I first watched Scream 3, but I do remember thinking a lot of scenes with Angelina were strange, so her being the second killer makes so much sense. I feel like the change happened right after her death, like she was supposed to suit up again and reveal herself after her death and that's the moment where they changed it to where it's just Roman

Thank you for mentioning the fact that Emily Mortimer isnt listed in the booklet RIP section. I have always clung to that for my own head canon lol. Maybe Angelina is still out there somewhere.

Also, historically we have seen “alpha” killers turn on their partners. Is it possible that Angelina WAS still the killer, but Roman actually killed her before she could be revealed as his partner?
Roman had a line likening sleeping with Angelina to sleeping with Sidney. The studio felt it was too controversial. But then not sure why they just didn't take out that line, or change the relationship between the killers. Rather than changing the entire story.

I've always been believed that Angelina was the second killer, it never made sense that Roman could accomplish all the killings, plant all the evidence, play victim and film a major motion picture all by himself... Plus Angelina's body was the only one moved as I believe her death was faked, which the R.I.P section in the book hints at.
its more likely roman pulled angelina's body away to make it seem like the killer was moving bodies which would explain why his own body would be missing if gale or jennifer went back to check
One killer makes a lot of sense, considering Roman was barely shown in the movie compared to the other ghost face killers. So him getting around fast isn't that ridiculous.
I only saw Roman 3 times in the whole movie before revealing himself as the killer.
1. when he was introduced as the director.
2. When the cops grabbed him for questioning.
3. When he was at the mansion before faking his death.
He wasn't as close to Sidney or the other protagonist as the previous ghost face before or after him were so him plotting and planning while taking action isn't far fetched.
Ok, now it's gonna be really hard for my head canon not to see Angelina as the second killer hahahaha. It makes a lot of sense! There is also one thing that Roman says to Sidney that would support this idea: he says he told Billy to get an accomplice in case he got caught. Why he, the "mastermind director", would not get one for himself?

it’s not canon if it didn’t appear in the final draft. An original draft of scream 2 had Sid dying. An original draft of scream 2 had derrick and hallie being killers instead of victims. An original draft of scream 3 had randy surviving….: if it didn’t make the cut it’s irrelevant,

So I'm thinking that Angelina's "I did not f*** that pig, Milton..." line can have one of two explanations: she was complicit in the act, having been warned by Roman that it was the type of guy that Milton was and she was just sociopathic and so in love with Roman that she went along with it and was actually a pretty damn good actress, or the line was written-in in a rewrite in order to eliminate her as a killer. Then, in the case where Roman didn't actually kill her and let her get away, not needing her for the reveal, she would be the only living killer left in the franchise and could easily pop back up later.

I think it would have an interesting twist if they played off the voice modulator thing with Cotton. Trick Christine into thinking it was Cotton on the phone. He comes home, they fight like in the movie. Then Ghostface maybe hits her in the head from behind, knocking her out. In the meantime, he fights with Cotton and kills him. Then he stabs Christine in a place where she probably won't die, at least not until after she can tell the cops that Cotton attacked her. He gets Cotton's prints on the knife and whatever else. He dials 911 and leaves, taking Cotton's body with him. The cops think Cotton attacked her and is wounded and on the run. We find out later Roman killed him, but it is an interesting way to trick Sid and the others into knowing "who" the killer is, making her more willing to come out because it's not an "unknown" killer but Cotton.
Best line in the movie “it was just a simple game Cotton you should have told me where Sydney was now you lose”

I’ve just found your channel recently and I’m binging all your videos, I’m scream obsessed and I’m so glad someone else is too!
For me, a majority of the film still makes sense with only 1 killer since Roman understands movies better than anyone, he's a fit and clever person, and being a director many of the scenes take place in areas he knows well. My theory for the set scene where Sidney is attacked in quick succession is that the times Ghostface doesn't touch her is her hallucinating intercut with Roman actually coming after her. Since earlier in the movie she has that nightmare about her mother and then Ghostface popping up from the window meaning she does get haunted by him.
Mathew Lillard said in an interview years ago, he was originally contacted to do Scream 3. With the idea being is he would ring Sidney up at the end revealing himself to be the mastermind behind what happened. This was supposed to set up Scream 4. He said the idea was Stu survived the first one.

In the original scream 3 script it set up for Scream 4 to be probably within the next couple of years after the 3rd one but the rewrite happened and that plan died out as the storyline at the time was finished. Then Wes decided to do Scream 4 anyway year's later with a different storyline that was supposed to launch a new trilogy but it didn't do as well as it was supposed too and Wes also was battling with his health so it never ended up happening either.

The impression I always had was that Detective Kincaid was the second killer who got away. His mannerisms, his knowledge, conveniently being knocked out and never killed to help remove suspicion of him and a few moments his of replies and body movements stuck out to me. At the end, I always thought that....a killer got away and is watching movies with the gang and Sydney.
Now, now I'm more convinced of Angelina, but I'm not discounting Kincaid entirely.
in Scream 5, they mention that Syd is now married to Mark Kincaid and he's the father of their kids, so probably not unless he is playing a real long con.

However Angelina as the 2nd killer fits all of those holes.. Again listen to the commentary on the DVD they mention when her body is being dragged off of camera that nobody knows what happens to her.. Also interstingly She's not listed as a death in the scream booklet you get with the ultimate scream boxset..

I always liked the scene in Milton’s office. Not just for giving Lance Hendrickson some more screen time or for Jennifer’s iconic lines but because it also fleshes out Roman (and gives him that line about being a pariah) and neatly sets up the party scene for the third act (including the seedy backstory)

Michael Jagger she’s a divisive character just like Scream 3 itself so I get some people love her or hate her.
I think of all the characters introduced in that movie, she stood out above the rest and had the most memorable lines

I've always liked to think maybe Angelina WAS actually the second Ghostface, but got betrayed by Roman at the end. Roman be like : "K, you served me well, now I don't need you anymore, it's all about me, byyyye".

It’s also possible that Angelina Tyler killed Sarah Darling and used the voice changer to emulate Roman’s voice. This is implicated when the investigators are very adamant that Darling’s roommate recognizes Roman’s voice and he says that he didn’t talk to her or meet up with her. Roman’s whereabouts could have been elsewhere and this would have served as a distraction to authorities just like when Billy was first taken into custody in the first Scream. An alibi that Roman wasn’t present nor made the call (despite the voice changer voice being him) makes more sense as to why he was let out so easily in comparison to what we do see in the movie. I never understood how he was able to be ruled out by the investigators so easily.

The Angelina theory being the second killer is totally believable she wanted the role so bad she decided to sleep with whoever to get it. Now Roman recruiting her as the second killer to get Sydney to the set so he can have his revenge probably with the promise of her getting to be the "real" sydney who saves the day and helping him escape from the cops since up until that point he was cleared from any wrong doing. Like how jill wanted to be Sydney because she was always the "hero" of the family thus resulting in jealousy from jill.

Damn, very solid theory! It does make sense. So with Angelina being the accomplice up to the point until Roman decided that he no longer needed her and then promptly killed her off.
Hey, really enjoying your vids so far , could you maybe do a hypothetical scenario kinda thing where you see ,if for example, Tatum survived the garage attack, how she would have fared in the next sequels ? And maybe do the same for someone like Randy, and see how he would have done later on if he did not chat shit about Billy . You get the idea, and I want you to make those hypothetical scenarios and use your imagination because of how detailed and great your vids are !

It would have made sense if Jennifer was the 2nd killer. She checked Roman's pulse when they found his "body" in the cellar. She makes some weird remark about being the killer in Stab 3 before dying, and you never actually see her get stabbed. I don't think fans would have suspected her. One can only imagine what a great performance she could have given as a frenzy eyed villain in the final act XO

The best thing about scream 3 was it having me actually believe that the detective was the 2nd killer for the first half in a subtle hint type of way that wasn't really as subtle as I thought it was initially.
Fun Fact: Janet Jackson was casted for this movie but dropped out due to touring conflicts and Scream got it's name from Michael & Janet song Scream and even Paris Jackson daughter of Michael Jackson in Scream Ressurection.

I still think that Angelina could have been the other Ghostface up until her death scene. Bc if you think about it this way; Roman was almost definitely able to hear her considering the vicinity and the way she was yelling her admission to Gale and Jennifer. Roman already has abandonment issues bc of the way Maureen Prescott handled him coming to her and being without his mom in the first place. Him hearing his gf admitting to sleeping with another guy could have pushed him over the edge to the point where she became the temporary object of his rage. That could have been the point where he was like "you know, screw this. I don't need you anymore. You've served your purpose" and killed her.

Damn the way you broke it down I never thought it was possible for a 2nd killer but everything makes sense!
The two killers script makes the Woodsboro set scene make a lot more sense; Sidney throws Ghostface down to her room set, a whole other floor of the house, and yet he still had time to get to the second floor and slip behind Sidney, who immediately ran out to the staircase, and cover himself with the sheet posing as Maureen's body for Stab. The final version of the movie literally only makes sense by integrating teleportation, or maybe a badly placed hallucination moment for Sidney.
I think it could be Sidney having a hallucination when someone rises up from under the sheet, since she was shown hallucinating her dead mother multiple times in this movie
@@matthewaaronallen1598 Roman was definitely doing it on purpose. Most of the scenes with Maureen weren't hallucinations, it was just Roman trying to convince people that Sidney snapped. He was playing that footage with Maureen's voice in the mansion and even appeared with the same cloth that was on the Stab set. The only nightmare Sidney had was the one at the house. Everything else she was experiencing was Roman messing with her, and very real.
@bggsz4 I agree that most of it was Roman. And that the scene on the set was probably filmed with 2 killers in mind before they changed it to just 1. However, I was saying that I believe going with a hallucination on the set is the only plausible explanation if there is only 1 killer, since it would have been physically impossible for Roman to have gotten back upstairs and past Sidney. So since they decided to go with only 1 killer, you must suppose that the person under the sheet on set was a hallucination, or you have a major plot hole lol
What if Roman tried to kill Angelia or killed her because at the last minute she decided she wanted out of the whole plan and Roman couldn't allow that?

I‘m thinking more and more that this might happened: Angelina was the second killer and Roman killed her because he wanted to face off Sidney by himself, since this was family business. Angelina didn’t had anything to do with. And there was absolutely no need to tell Sidney that he had a partner. I like the idea that in the Scream franchise there are always two killers at least.

@@lunajohnson7091 The studio scrapped it, the writer and director needed it to appear to the studio that they followed their orders. The actual creative minds left clues so more dedicated viewers could piece together the story the studio stopped them from telling.
This was the only scream movie I owned in vhs when I was a kid, so I've seen this one more than the others. That being said, this video is absolutely mind blowing to me. I appreciate ur dedication and attention to detail. Dont stop anytime soon!

I love this video and idea of analysing who was doing what! When re-watching all the Screams (which I do every now and then), I have asked myself the same questions. However I do wish that they had stuck with the original script idea of having the cult of killers. I'd love to see how you would have tackled that one!

Angelina surviving Scream 3 holds more ground than the silly Kirby surviving 4.
We saw Kirby get stabbed and bleed out.
Angelina was just fighting and screaming, then dragged away.
Yeah you’re right, I don’t think there’s any chance of Kirby surviving. She was stabbed really deep and had a huge pool of blood next to her in a matter of seconds. What makes is any different that the other victims that were stabbed twice and died immediately
Quick theory: Roman only got Sidney's number through morally dubious means, such as using the voice modulator and/or triangulation of phone signals. There could be multiple reasons as to why he would want to keep them secret (the voice modulator could have implied he was Ghostface, or it would have made him just seem creepy), and continuing to look for Sidney's number just stops people wondering why he stopped looking (and makes people think he doesn't have her number by the time he called her as Ghostface).
I'm a bit late, but my theory (after watching this video) is that perhaps Angelina had indeed been working with Roman up until that point in the mansion. Roman having decided that she'd completed her usefulness to him and decided to actually kill her when she got stabbed. This doesn't explain why she didn't appear in the 'dead cast' list of Scream 3, but it does at least explain some of the inconsistency/impossibility of some of the scenes.

@@lunajohnson7091 Yeah, because they had to, not because they wanted to. Writers tend to be more creative than copypasta commenters so they figure out ways to tell the story the want to tell without the studio picking up on it.

I honestly never really thought of there being 2 killers in Scream 3. I mean I thought there was when watching it the first time, but I never thought about it afterwords. I'm one of the biggest Scream fans. I love this movie. I watch it over and over all year around and I cant get enough of it. I hope the 5th movie isn't a lie. 😍 very well done video, Zack. This is a very great analogy of Scream 3 & the fact that Angelina's character actually was written in as the second killer before they decided to change it; i'd say this actually makes the movie much better & make more sense
Phone lines are separate from power lines and deliver power to phones. Fax machines would still need power but its possible it was on a battery backup as most mission critical devices are. Loving the content man

I think you are 100 percent right about Angelina being the second killer. She never fully fit the role of Sydney as that quiet weak mouse girl she was claiming to be. Syd was always a bad ass even when she was terrified in the first one. It makes more sense that Angelina was always the second killer and I think they went a different route at the very end to end the trilogy with a single killer. In my opinion it would have been better to have had her as the second killer or for her to even come back now saying she was to avenge Roman her boyfriend. 🤷🏼♀️

The Scream box set omitting her clearly conveys that she was an accomplice. It's perfect. When she returns later in the series, only true fans will have already known and theyll love it.

I'm not sure if anyone knows what his vision was or if they're following it, BUT
While I really liked Scream 3 & 4, both of them suffer from the "what are the odds of this happening to Sidney?" rationale.
I'll admit, they did a bang up job with roman. Hehe
Pulling on the Sharon stone thread from the original, making her a starlet... While one must suspend disbelief, they at least made SOME effort to tie it in.
With Scream 4, even though it's plausible, timely, and even realistic, it's like REALLY? AGAIN?
This many people are capable of murder?
But because it's a good film, I overlook it.
The point I'm making is, maybe Angelina will be back to avenge Roman. Perhaps she's disillusioned that she never made it, has nothing to live for, has been living in the past of the life she thought she'd have with Roman as a starlet.
She'll probably need an accomplice, but surely there is a victims' parent or sibling who went mad mourning their child and is enraged that they're dead all because Sidney is the focus of repeated killing sprees.
That's easy and an audience can buy that.
Jerry O'connell s mother feeling he only died because of her and why does she get to live, especially when she hears on the news that over and over innocent people die but Sidney never does. When she heard about her niece killing those young kids, practically babies... It sent her over the edge and she decides Sidney needs to die. All of them do. Why do they get to survive if my baby didn't? If all these babies didn't.
Studying it all, she uncovers that Angelina didn't really die, so they pair up find avenge their losses.
THAT is the most palpable Scream 5 script I can envision.
Of course if it were truly up to me, Scream 6 would reveal that Gale Weathers was secretly behind it all. She did it all to propel her career, but married Dewey for her reputation and to have inside access to the police to stay one step ahead of them.
It would be revealed at the end of the second act with what appears to be Sidney's death.
The third act would be focusing on a new final girl that was introduced to the film as a supporting character but has now been thrust into the starring role.
Or better yet... Maybe the opening segment of Scream 6 will be ghost face calling Sidney and the grand reveal happens before the credits, which run after what appears to be Sidney's death.
But the end of the film will reveal that Sidney has finally gone mad and she's the killer.
Only she does kill the final girl and gets away with it.
The epilogue is her studying the teen girls that call the help line, searching for the right girl to be her target... Because it will make her strong.
That's how I'd end scream
Altho thinking about it, I think it'd be better to do the Gale reveal in act 2. It's too big and we can't have Sidney dead for that long.
Plus Dewey realizing his entire life was a lie and he's nothing but a chump that Gale NEVER loved and his awkward, bumbling ineptitude was the bane of her existence this entire time, right before he dies is too big to be a pre credit sequence.
It requires too much.
Dewey and Sidney experience the revelation together. Gale kills Dewey and while it appears she kills Sidney, it turns out Sidney killed her
OR
You have a choice. Sidney kills gale and become ghost face because our entire world is bullshit and girls need to be strong. They all need Ghost face
OR
It's revealed later that after Gale kills Dewey, Sidney thanks her for the entire experience and the two of them take on the Ghostface role together.
They can laugh about how Dewey should have died first but his police ties were too valuable so they had to repeatedly let him live.
Actually, I would leave it that Sidney is driven to what some might call madness, feeling that all this made her strong and she must now be Ghostface for others, but in my wildest fantasies it would be that Gale and Sidney are lesbian lovers and they were in it together from the start. Sidney was just like Jill. She had a secret affair with Gale when she was investigating her mother's death and that's why she always pretended to hate her.
When they discovered billy and stu, they hatched a plan to get them to commit these murders and survive, catapulting then to fame and it kept happening over and over because they kept manipulating people into it. Even jill, who sidney MIGHT have shared her secret with but killed because she so disrespected her.
Now that would be awesome! She always knew about roman. While everyone always took credit for killing her mother, Sidney actually killed her mother herself.
Oh yes. She was hot for journalist gale weathers so she wrote her asking advice about how to investigate her mother. When they met, they fell in love and hatched a plan to kill her and blame her lover to get them famous. Then after, they saw an opportunity for greater notoriety with Billy & stu! Oh yes. Scream.

I always wondered if Roman got Sydney's number after he killed Cotton. You could argue they were never close and their relationship was situational and not anything beyond her accusing him of killing her mom and him saving her life at Windsor College. But I feel like they'd have contact after Windsor College. I just wish I seen more of a reaction to Cotton's death on her end. Because I've always felt like that was unspoken that he got it from a phone book in his office
I believe the theory . Each Ghostface has a trope so you can kind of get the vibe of who is behind the mask.
I noticed Roman liked punching a lot more than other Ghostfaces. I believe the more clumsy ones could possibly have been Angelina.
Second piece of evidence is at the end she really hammed up her death scene and when she is killed her body is the only one moved.
My final piece of evidence is that Roman seemed egotistical enough to take soul credit when admitting his whole motivation to the person he hated the most; Sidney.

Angelina originally being set up to be a second killer makes a ton of sense and would have made the movie better. Angelina was always such a weird character to me even when I first saw the movie when I was younger. She randomly pops up more than any of the other Stab 3 cast, moving around in the background or “bumping into” Sid and others, and there was a lot of focus placed on her for someone who turned out to be no one.

I've kind of always watched Scream 3 with the personal head canon that Angelina was his accomplice and Roman just killed her before the big reveal at the end when she was no longer needed. Then I come across this video, and it put it better than I could trying to explain it to my friends. Gonna show them this from now on lol.

That despite how crazy it would seem for Roman to be able to pull many of these stunts off alone, it was all a deliberate reference to Randy's helpful rules about killers by the end of so many slasher sequels outright being superhuman. Unlike the seeming majority opinion that the third movie is where most fans started to groan and consider it a waste, Scream 3 is actually my personal favorite of the series.
Roman killing Angelina also fits into the fact he wanted to appear superhuman. But since this is a Scream movie, and based on reality, he would have to pretend to be superhuman, by pretending to have done all the killings himself. Heck, he used props and a bullet proof armor to achieve that.
No. The Scream series is mainly grounded in reality, so that excuse doesn’t fly with this movie.

This is my 2nd time watching this video. I do wish they had a 2nd killer. The only victim I felt sorry for was Jennifer. I was hoping somehow she would pull through. However, I admit when I watched your video the first time I dug out my Scream Box set and looked at the paperwork lol.

Love this series. Scream is one of my favorite horror films. So these have really been fun to watch
They should’ve done an homage to Sleepaway Camp and revealed that Angelina was actually Stu who had a gender change. The way Angelina chased Sidney up the stairs throughout the set was exactly like Stu did.
Wait, they also reshot so Christine was in a little nightgown? Gotta spice up that murder? 🙄
There's a moment when they sneak off to explore the mansion where Tyson is worried Milton will jump out at them. Angelina says so confidently and matter of factly, "He's not." Tyson asks her if she's sure. The way she said that and the confidence with which she said it makes you believe that she could be in on it and knows that Milton is not the killer and that he's tied up in the screening room.

You know what blew my mind Angela was pulling a similar face to roman when he faked his death, the open wide eyes over the top looking death, ironic they both looked over done which I believe she was just faking it to prove she was the better taking of sid than her actual self 😂
She knew the stage house inside out because she wanted to be sid so bad she made sure she knew all the hiding points inside.
It was roman for sure underneath the bed sheets talking in their mums voice as he said at the end he hated her and sis as he got turned away by the mum

Fun theory, the whole Stu being alive and in jail in scream 3. Then it only had one killer reveal after the first script was scrapped but left a opening for that fact that stu could have been helping sidneys cousin from jail in scream 4. That would be a good setup for 5. Stu has been there the whole time.

I think Sidneys first phone call is a figment of her imagination, same as the nightmare she has of her mom. That’s how I always read it personally because you’re right, it’s weird that Roman would call her when no one else knows how to reach her apart from Dewey. Unless Dewey being a consultant on set meant that Roman has chance to find her contact through his phone....
But that would raise the question on why he bothered to kill Cotton
Yeah this makes a lot of sense very well put and I know there were changes because of leaked scripts. But the original opening scenes for scream 3 with cotton would have been dope!! Also I’m guessing that Angelina was not suppose to be a killer because she’s just a red herring for the audience and maybe Randy sister was the second killer
I'd like to think that Angelina was indeed the second killer, but roman killed her as he simply had no use for her and was going to kill Sidney and then just disappear. Leaving Angelina alive would've been too damaging and risky for him.
Every single Scream film has had two killers, so it's weird for only this one to not feature a second.
