my money is on officer Judy because i thought she was gonna be the killer in scream 4 and she was getting alot of disrespect while trying to do her job and Gale even told Judy that her "lemon squares taste like ass" to her face. Ive also always dreamed of Dewey being the killer because hes been disrespected as the dumb cop since scream 1 and hes been harmed during all these cases and i could understand he might want sydney dead so he never has to worry about protecting her again so i can i understand him turning and being the killer but in the trailer theres a scene where hes reloading a gun while chasing ghost face so its improbable... we'll have to see tonight.
The reason scream is probably my favorite horror franchise is because the killer is different every movie. Each killer has a different motive and that’s what keeps the excitement for each movie.

I met skeet in October this year and asked him if he ever did any ghost face scenes, he indeed confirmed that he did don in for the Randy scene but it was ultimately not in the film! Lovely guy

I know before Scream came out my sister had a glow in the dark "GHOST FACE" Mask but the mouth was shaped a little different. She wore it for Halloween in 94. I still have the pictures of her in that mask. I always thought it was super cool that she had that mask and wore it a good 2 years before Scream and Ghost Face even existed

And after Billy had become famous for surviving Neil's supposed killings and everything had died down Billy planned on killing again since Stu said "We're gonna carry on and plan the sequel."

Maybe he and Hallie could have been together, recruited by Mrs. Loomis, one to keep tabs on Gale and the other to keep tabs on Sidney. Could have been cool.
My favorite thing about scream 1 is that in almost every scene billy and Stu are in its setting something up without you (the viewer) even knowing it like when billy went to Sydney’s house and made out with her, he was distracting her while Stu kidnapped her dad also creating an alibi for himself or when Sydney was leaving stu’s party billy shows up to single Stu that stu’s girlfriend is dead they then went upstairs to have sex meanwhile Stu was dressing up as ghost face to “kill” billy” anyway I’m sure there are many more examples I just can’t think of them all
Both Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich dawned the Ghostface costume when Ghostface was about to kill Randy before they heard Sidney. The two of them did an interview awhile ago where they said this to be the case, but the man who was primarily in the Ghostface costume also did that scene as well. It’s possible that it’s a combination of all three of them are in the final film, considering how it’s edited together.
I love the part at the the end where you mention Randy saying they always come back for one last scare is further proof that there is no way Stu survived. They make sure Billy's dead and you're telling me they don't check Stu as well? Bringing Stu back alive for 6 would make absolutely no sense. If they do it'll be an unbelievable reason like "Oh, one of the EMTs snuck him out in an ambulance without any of the cops,reporters, coroner's, or Sidney, Gale, or Randy seeing them." Just you wait,6 will be stupid as hell.

@Mathias Eggimann nah, it's something you can only hear on high quality copies. Couldn't ever hear it on vhs, or DVD then I saw it in theaters for it's anniversary and could distinctly recognize and hear him then.

Also Stu looks at himself in the handheld mirror in the locker scene, likely looking for a bump from headbutting Sidney the night prior. It's always those little details that make it fun in rewatches, knowing how easy it should have been for Sidney and a few others to figure out, who the killers were.
Important to note that Danny Johnson in Dead By Daylight is only tangentially connected to Scream. He is not a part of the Scream franchise, which is why he never makes any calls to his victims. His only connection to the franchise is through the Fun World mask which BHVR (the game studio who makes DBD) has the rights for. They wrote Danny as a character to bring the spirit of Scream into the game without actually having the Scream rights. Pretty clever.
The mask was born the same year I was. There aren't words for how much I love that. I grew up watching Scream, it was my favorite movie as a little kid, and I love every one. I loved Ghostface so much, I dressed up as Ghostface for every single Halloween I've ever experienced lol. That Buck 120 is the most beautiful knife to ever exist, and I love mine. And you know damn well I bought Ghostface in Warzone, and that I run around with nothing the Buck 120 and a stun grenade😂 I'm so happy with how they portrayed him in that game, they did really damn good. He looks really good, they got the knife right, and most importantly, they actually got the voice😍
@21:42 I believe I have a simple theory on how Roman got Sydney’s phone number: Dewey has her number saved on his phone. He lets Kincaid borrow the phone, and this later makes everyone suspicious of how the killer called Sydney. The reason being because Gale asks Dewey if anyone else used Dewey’s phone, to which he replied just Kincaid and Jennifer. However, earlier when Roman is arrested, Jennifer makes the comment, “God, Roman... remind me not to sleep with him again.” Jennifer may have had Deweys phone during that time she was with Roman, and Roman may have snuck into the phone while Jennifer wasn’t looking (sleeping, possibly) and found Sydney’s number then. You have no idea how much I want the killer to be Stu, but I have major doubts it will happen. I did know most of these, and I’m proud to say I caught onto the left hand theory the very first time I watched.
Stu's house is in the trailer so it gives the impression that there's a tie in somewhere with that and if they bring him back I'll be psyched and they did great at keeping that a secret.

I just rewatched this, and the statement about Mrs. Loomis having killed Randy with her left hand caught my attention. The theory that she uses her left hand, in order to aid in framing Mickey does make sense, to some degree. It's also been established this particular kill was largely one of passion, due to Randy's comments regarding Billy, and potentially unintended. I do somewhat wonder just how likely it would have been for her to use her left hand, and if that aspect was intentional.
The fang mask looks like Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 and from the second movie in the original RE film series Apocalypse. Honestly it could have been a copy since RE games were inspired by American movies, but I think it was a coincidence. Really funny how close it looks, minus the mouth.

4:31 Billy and Stu were the only ones who did more than stab because they gutted Casey and Steve and probably did the same to Principal Himbry before they hung his body up in the football field to get the others away from the party at Stu's house so they could kill Sidney.
Which also makes it more likely for Stu to have killed Dewey than Amber. Since Stu knows how to gut someone, like he did with Dewey in Scream 5. And Amber was more of a stabby-stab killer, than a slice-and-dice person.
Actually, although Dane was Ghostface for most of the movies, he DIDN’t do EVERYTHING in Scream 1 and 2 because they wanted to separate the stunt performers/actors wearing the Ghostface outfit so people couldn't think it is one consistent person/killer. In Scream 1, Tony Cecere, Lee Waddell, and Dane Farwell were the stunt guys of Ghostface. In Scream 2, Chris Durand, Lee Waddell, Dane Farwell, Ted Barba, Kurt Bryant, TJ White, Rick Barker, Chris Doyle, and Allen Robinson were the stunt performers of Ghostface.
I never believed it was actually Skeet Ulrich and Stu Macher wearing the masks during filming since we don’t even have an unmasking scene. Skeet did actually wear the costume a couple of times but for the most part ghostface wasn’t played by either of the actors revealed to be the killers.

If Charlie was stabbed in the heart: How does anyone expect him to survive that? The only way is if Jill stabbed him in the wrong area only assuming she had stabbed him in the heart. Which I would assume he wouldn't be able to speak and say, "Jill? The heart. WTF? That's not what we agreed on?' Nor would he make his gasping sounds. So it's possible she just stabbed him in the lung area or some place near the heart. Thus it's slightly possible he could survive. But of course fans would say that's far fetched but so is Kirby or really anyone surviving. It's a movie franchise so we as fans can speculate our own motives and ideas into the story and even have stupid fan fiction witch fetishizes certain fantasy relationships that don't exist.
It’s always someone you know could be a reference to the audience. Scream is always been a bit of a meta type of horror movie. It is always someone we know because we get to know the killers before knowing they’re the killer.
Scream 4 was not a bad plot, it had good overall kills, also not bad with the attempted comedy, but that being said the actors who played the killers were absolutely terrible. Also the mail slot door kill is nice.
The real problem with who they got to be Ghostface in 4 AND 5 was that the moment they were cast you knew who they were. I mean come on, Rory Cualkin and the crazy chick from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood!? Dead give aways
The plot hole in Scream 3 could be solved if Dewey is behind all of this. He’s had connections to all of the killers and he was one of the two people who knew Sidney’s contact information when she was living off the grid.
I’ve always thought Kincaid was the second killer for a couple reason. 1) being Kincaid borrowed deweys phone onset. Then Sid gets a call. 2) Kincaid had a file on Sid. 3) how did he know that she would end up at Milton’s mansion
I don't know if anyone here is a Resident Evil fan but this scrapped ghost face concept at 2:29 looks a lot like the Nemesis, which is an interesting coincidence.
It is true that Roman had no part in planning the Woodsboro murders by Billy and Stu (except Maureen, of course). However, the news were heavily reporting on Casey's and Steve's murder and on the attack on Sidney. At that point, exactly one year after Maureen's murder, Roman absolutely must have realized what was going on. It is a rather short drive from L.A. to Woodsboro, so him hopping in the car and going to watch things unfold up-close isn't out of the question. For me, Roman being the "observing" ghostface in the bushes and the supermarket makes more sense than Billy and Stu, possibly also the prank-attack in the school bathroom. It is not far-fetched: Roman would have known that Billy and Stu were now going for Sidney, so he wanted to partake in the thrill of stalking his half-sister before she is murdered without really dirtying his own hands. Mind you, I am aware that the whole Roman story is one huge retcon, so of course it wasn't planned this way. But in-universe I find it more likely than Billy or Stu putting on the costume in a supermarket just to take a quick glance.
Hopefully for scream 6 Stu comes back as he’s alive and hopefully his partner can be Danny Johnson I really want them to add him into the series I like how he photographs his murders would be a really good plot
The way they could bring Danny is he could be obsessed with the murders or they could tie it for him to be Billy Loomis half sibling like Roman that would be a crazy twist as Billy was in scream 5 as Sam’s dad
It’ll be awesome if you did a Scream timeline starting with Maureen’s aka Reyna Reynolds’s acting career and her attempt of fame that leads her to Milton. Followed by Roman growing up and trying to find his mother only to be turned away by Maureen which leads him to approach Billy Loomis and convince him to kill Maureen and then frame Cotton Weary, eventually starting the events of Scream. Something along those lines. Just a suggestion. 👉👈 [Edit to add: I wrote a timeline myself which started before Maureen went to Hollywood where it had her expressing her interest of fame to her sister Kate. And then when she came back Maureen was a mess until she met Neil and got married. It also included Kate giving birth to Jill, and Jill secretly growing up obsessed with Sidney’s fame and slowly manipulating Charlie for their future plan. But, you could probably tell it way better than I can!

Ok, look. Ghostface most certainly is supernatural. None of the killers ever die until they take off the mask. Also, Ghostface *is* the mask, and that's what makes him immortal, he's just immortal in a different way. Ghostface is an entirely different entity than the killers behind the mask, and I love him. Then when Sidney wore the mask for a minute, God damn, that's that moment right there, ultimate Ghostface😍
So I found out not that long ago that my mom’s cousin lived across the hall from the college students in Gainesville who got killed. So my mom’s cousin would have been killed if she lived in the dorm room across from the one she did live in.
It NEVER occurred to me to question when Neil Prescott was kidnapped. Never paid attention to what outfit he was wearing at the end. WOW. Dewey has her number saved on his phone. He lets Kincaid borrow the phone, and this later makes everyone suspicious of how the killer called Sydney. The reason being because Gale asks Dewey if anyone else used Dewey’s phone, to which he replied just Kincaid and Jennifer. However, earlier when Roman is arrested, Jennifer makes the comment, “God, Roman... remind me not to sleep with him again.” Jennifer may have had Deweys phone during that time she was with Roman, and Roman may have snuck into the phone while Jennifer wasn’t looking (sleeping, possibly) and found Sydney’s number then.

You have no idea how much I want the killer to be Stu, but I have major doubts it will happen.
I did know most of these, and I’m proud to say I caught onto the left hand theory the very first time I watched.
Stu's house is in the trailer so it gives the impression that there's a tie in somewhere with that and if they bring him back I'll be psyched and they did great at keeping that a secret.

Ghostface stabbing Billy with the umbrella is in fact Dane Farwell.
I just rewatched this, and the statement about Mrs. Loomis having killed Randy with her left hand caught my attention. The theory that she uses her left hand, in order to aid in framing Mickey does make sense, to some degree. It's also been established this particular kill was largely one of passion, due to Randy's comments regarding Billy, and potentially unintended. I do somewhat wonder just how likely it would have been for her to use her left hand, and if that aspect was intentional.
Well watch it again because the killer isn't even using their left hand anyways, the uploader is just blind.
The fang mask looks like Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 and from the second movie in the original RE film series Apocalypse. Honestly it could have been a copy since RE games were inspired by American movies, but I think it was a coincidence. Really funny how close it looks, minus the mouth.
has anyone else noticed that ghostface moves in a weird way? like he kinda throws himself at his victims in a very rushed and reckless way, often leading to him falling over or running into things, whereas killers like jason and michael move very deliberately

4:31 Billy and Stu were the only ones who did more than stab because they gutted Casey and Steve and probably did the same to Principal Himbry before they hung his body up in the football field to get the others away from the party at Stu's house so they could kill Sidney.
Which also makes it more likely for Stu to have killed Dewey than Amber. Since Stu knows how to gut someone, like he did with Dewey in Scream 5. And Amber was more of a stabby-stab killer, than a slice-and-dice person.
Actually, although Dane was Ghostface for most of the movies, he DIDN’t do EVERYTHING in Scream 1 and 2 because they wanted to separate the stunt performers/actors wearing the Ghostface outfit so people couldn't think it is one consistent person/killer.
In Scream 1, Tony Cecere, Lee Waddell, and Dane Farwell were the stunt guys of Ghostface. In Scream 2, Chris Durand, Lee Waddell, Dane Farwell, Ted Barba, Kurt Bryant, TJ White, Rick Barker, Chris Doyle, and Allen Robinson were the stunt performers of Ghostface.

I never believed it was actually Skeet Ulrich and Stu Macher wearing the masks during filming since we don’t even have an unmasking scene. Skeet did actually wear the costume a couple of times but for the most part ghostface wasn’t played by either of the actors revealed to be the killers.

The only way is if Jill stabbed him in the wrong area only assuming she had stabbed him in the heart. Which I would assume he wouldn't be able to speak and say, "Jill? The heart. WTF? That's not what we agreed on?' Nor would he make his gasping sounds. So it's possible she just stabbed him in the lung area or some place near the heart. Thus it's slightly possible he could survive. But of course fans would say that's far fetched but so is Kirby or really anyone surviving. It's a movie franchise so we as fans can speculate our own motives and ideas into the story and even have stupid fan fiction witch fetishizes certain fantasy relationships that don't exist.

Scream 4 was not a bad plot, it had good overall kills, also not bad with the attempted comedy, but that being said the actors who played the killers were absolutely terrible. Also the mail slot door kill is nice.

The plot hole in Scream 3 could be solved if Dewey is behind all of this. He’s had connections to all of the killers and he was one of the two people who knew Sidney’s contact information when she was living off the grid.
I’ve always thought Kincaid was the second killer for a couple reason. 1) being Kincaid borrowed deweys phone onset. Then Sid gets a call. 2) Kincaid had a file on Sid. 3) how did he know that she would end up at Milton’s mansion

I don't know if anyone here is a Resident Evil fan but this scrapped ghost face concept at 2:29 looks a lot like the Nemesis, which is an interesting coincidence.
It is true that Roman had no part in planning the Woodsboro murders by Billy and Stu (except Maureen, of course).
However, the news were heavily reporting on Casey's and Steve's murder and on the attack on Sidney. At that point, exactly one year after Maureen's murder, Roman absolutely must have realized what was going on. It is a rather short drive from L.A. to Woodsboro, so him hopping in the car and going to watch things unfold up-close isn't out of the question.
For me, Roman being the "observing" ghostface in the bushes and the supermarket makes more sense than Billy and Stu, possibly also the prank-attack in the school bathroom. It is not far-fetched: Roman would have known that Billy and Stu were now going for Sidney, so he wanted to partake in the thrill of stalking his half-sister before she is murdered without really dirtying his own hands.
Mind you, I am aware that the whole Roman story is one huge retcon, so of course it wasn't planned this way. But in-universe I find it more likely than Billy or Stu putting on the costume in a supermarket just to take a quick glance.

The way they could bring Danny is he could be obsessed with the murders or they could tie it for him to be Billy Loomis half sibling like Roman that would be a crazy twist as Billy was in scream 5 as Sam’s dad

It’ll be awesome if you did a Scream timeline starting with Maureen’s aka Reyna Reynolds’s acting career and her attempt of fame that leads her to Milton. Followed by Roman growing up and trying to find his mother only to be turned away by Maureen which leads him to approach Billy Loomis and convince him to kill Maureen and then frame Cotton Weary, eventually starting the events of Scream.
Something along those lines. Just a suggestion. 👉👈
[Edit to add: I wrote a timeline myself which started before Maureen went to Hollywood where it had her expressing her interest of fame to her sister Kate. And then when she came back Maureen was a mess until she met Neil and got married. It also included Kate giving birth to Jill, and Jill secretly growing up obsessed with Sidney’s fame and slowly manipulating Charlie for their future plan.
But, you could probably tell it way better than I can!

Ok, look. Ghostface most certainly is supernatural. None of the killers ever die until they take off the mask. Also, Ghostface *is* the mask, and that's what makes him immortal, he's just immortal in a different way. Ghostface is an entirely different entity than the killers behind the mask, and I love him. Then when Sidney wore the mask for a minute, God damn, that's that moment right there, ultimate Ghostface😍
So I found out not that long ago that my mom’s cousin lived across the hall from the college students in Gainesville who got killed. So my mom’s cousin would have been killed if she lived in the dorm room across from the one she did live in.

It NEVER occurred to me to question when Neil Prescott was kidnapped. Never paid attention to what outfit he was wearing at the end. WOW. But Neil's car was found near Stu's house, so when did they take his car? Did they wait around until "first thing in the morning" or just until Sidney fell asleep?

A white suit would have been cool if the killers never washed it and the suit got bloodier and bloodier after each kill as the film progressed.
