    Thank you so much for sharing about your experience with trying to digest legumes AND your aversion to the mushy sweet potatoes. For decades I have worked to modify the preparation of these two items and have failed to make them digestible for me. I am going to track down Hannah sweet potatoes now.

    Another great video - although I became alarmed when you held up that pie. I was thinking “She’s a food addict - she can’t be in the same room with that pie”. But obviously, your recovery is much further along than mine. LOL

    I know this is an older video but I just love all of yours so I go back and watch. Now you said you couldn't eat nuts and lose. And that you didn't gain. I weight myself weekly (daily really but only look for a loss weekly) I sometimes do gain. I am hyperthyroid and menopausal but should I just weigh longer periods of time? I am super dedicated but my body does fight losing. Thank you so much for any advice. You rock!!!

    My belly does that if I eat wheat, soy, nuts, seeds, avocado, oil, mustard, or nutritional yeast and maybe oats. I just don't eat those foods anymore. I'll try that tummy stuff.

      Like you, I used to really miss them. But I like not being sick a lot more than those foods.

    I only like the white potatoes.....can a person life on theses for a while with no problems.

      My mother came from Ukraine slim & trim @ 100 lbs & all she ate was white potatoes, bread & soup.

    I'm also shocked by 1200 calories. Is it me or does the "alot" of food seem to come from nonstarchy vegetables. I thought you were a raw vegan when I saw the plate. I don't understand how someone can eat alot of food and only reach 1200 calories. If someone tried to lose weight on 1200 calories wouldn't some call that an eating disorder. This confused me alot.

      WEIGHT LOSS WEDNESDAY , I knew that formula , but the BMR is ,if I would sit or lay down all day , even on rest days there is a lot of everyday movement involved that requires calories right ?

      i hope i was not being critical , i love your work i bought your book and watch all your videos and lectures
      i was just curious , since you mentioned in so many interviews with Dr Lisle that you eat as much as you want ...unrestricted
      so when you said when you don't exercise you only get 1200 cals it really shocked me
      that seems like a very low amount of food for a adult women
      i am you height and weight and if i eat less then 1800-2200 i disappear
      again i respect you and love your work
