I have a 2023 AWD Limited Prius and I can't say enough about it. Mileage, safety, reliability and longevity are always expected with a Toyota. I didn't even know the driver's side door has a monitor on it that can spot a car, bike or pedestrian and warn you the moment you start to open it. It also has the advanced park which I'll never use. I'm the sole car parked away from others all the time. Not that I wouldn't appreciate a dozen door dings or bumper rubs, but I like to keep my cars looking new for as long as I can. The Prius does it all and with a sporty style.
@@Metalkit404 I was able to pay for it. Once i paid off a car years ago I just kept putting money aside for a car payment each month. When I needed my next car it was much easier to take that money and add a little more so I could get out from under obligatory monthly car payments. My dad told me that when i was very young but of course when you're young you don't always have the money to do that. I know I didn't.
I like this one! It's quieter and has all the bells and whistles that I want. I just can't afford it, but maybe in 1-2 years I can buy the used version or the 2027 model..
Good luck finding one. My local Toyota dealer has zero hybrids in stock and any coming in are already spoken for so you can't test drive them. Why there are no dealer demos is beyond me. I guess you are expected to buy sight unseen.
I owned from the second generation to the current 2024 Limited model, putting more than 100,000 miles on each older gen with no issues. To say the least I love the car, leaps ahead of the previous model. You might think the limited would have ALL the goodies, but no.
Yes, if you want one the best thing to do is order it. Most every Prius is sold before they even hit the lots. I waited 6 months for mine and the wait time for the Prime most likely will be longer. Do not pay a dealer mark-up. Find a dealer that sells at sticker and order it from them.
The Limited is the top of the line and has all the extras as standard equipment on it that the lower level models don't have. AWD is an option even on the Limited
Seems like a nice car. I didn’t hear you mention anything about a “Prime”, Plug in. Does the Limited version not offer the Prime? I’ve owned 3 Prius. A 2010, 2014, and a 2020 Limited Prime. I personally would be hesitant to buy one now. Primarily because of “supply and demand”. I’m a car guy, as I’ve owned many. Mostly high end ones… Lexus, Mercedes, Infiniti, Audi, and Porsche. However I know how to buy cars, have a proven method that used to work, prior to the Pandemic and shortages. Many of my friends and their friends ask me to help them buy cars. I usually save them several thousand when it was done. I’m down to 2 cars now. A Porsche, and the 2020 Prius Prime Limited. I bought the Prius in October of 2020. I always done a lot of research before making a purchase. I won’t go into the details of it because I plan on writing a book on how to buy cars and primarily most anything… How to travel as well. How to save money. I flew to New York, rented a car, to pick up the Prius in the Northeast region of the US. At that time Toyota had a $4500 rebate on the Prius I bought. The sticker was around $35K. I ended up buying the car for $29K. I sold another car I had and paid the difference. No financing! Them the Federal Government was offering another $4500 tax rebate on the Prime Plug-in version On my tax return. So I got the car for $24,500. It’s my daily driver. I could care less about the way the car looks, compared to the new Prius. I plug it in every night, and the first 25-30 miles is more like the Porsche when it’s powered with electricity. I usually average driving 300 miles a week. I get between 78-79 MPG, with no range anxiety. I don’t think we’re ready for fully electric cars yet. The hybrid, and the Prime that Toyota offers, is the way to go at the present. That’s noted on the car daily, as an average. I’m pretty conservative on most things. I just use common sense.. The Prius IMO is a no brainer. The Limited Prime I have is fully loaded and drives fine. The only complaint I have is the insulation on most cars nowadays. They’re not as good as they used to be. I can hear more road noise in the later cars, than I used to.. Here’s a tip for smart car buyers. This is what I used to pick up decent used cars for friends. I looked for one that was 3 years old. Primarily Toyota, Honda, or Lexus, with average mileage 40-45K miles, clean carfax, no wrecks.. I would buy for no more than 50% of new price.. Bought many of those, using my method. I’m not sure I could in today’s market. I personally wouldn’t buy a car now if I didn’t have to. Actually anything that I didn’t have to have… I only buy daily essentials, and get those at Walmart and Sam’s, with many of them, the store brand! However I don’t live like a lot of people do. Haven’t had any debt in over 20 years, and have no money problems… Most people should try to live within their means… Especially nowadays with the inflation and interest rates…

I have totally changed my mind about the Prius.
They actually look good
I like it, bought the 2024 Prius Limited with no regrets.
Does it come with Navigation
@@marilynnscorner345 yes it does. It also has apple car play or android.
Despite your saying the back seat was roomy, the leg space back there looked cramped. Do you have the numbers on front and rear legroom?

Last generation had the best looks. Today it looks like a sports game
Great review.

The blue line was flickering…is that actually ambient lighting?
A lot of that is the camera. Cameras see light faster than we do. That flashing is invisible to us.
Fantastic looking car. I think its a good value too.
Ready to trade my wrx in for one of these
seems like Prius driving experience is not so great compare with elantra hybrid? However, I am curious on Sonata driving experience tho.

@@computerweenieyou can’t order Toyotas. Your dealer can only request allocation
So the HP numbers are good, I have a 21 Accord Sport SE. But the only problem I would have, is the torque figures.
HP is around 3.5
The hybrid will make the torque deficit feel less pronounced. Really it needs a turbo slapped on it too
I'm still confused what the whole "limited" thing means. Because I found a 2020 prius limited and it isn't AWD, and I can't find other similarities.

First I'm gonna thank you for your great reviews, and then in my opinion this car doesn't look good, especially from the side view.
Anytime you put a Lexus engine into a Prius, only makes it better. Can this be re-tuned to 250-260h as in Lexus UX which uses the same engine?
Nice review but you talk so fast the words blur sometimes
$48,590 in Canada. 😮
