This is a third party solution it has nothing to do with Tesla offering Car play or android auto. And requires third party
hardware.

How does choosing other navigation options affect FSD? If not using Tesla navigation?
Robert got the unit yesterday and installed it today on my 2022 Model S long range. The device was already up to date and setting browser and getting it to run via phone bluetooth was a breeze.
The only negative is that it does not autostart every time i get in the car. No biggie, i just start typing web address and it prefills and starts to work. Thx

Here we can see Teslas foresight, if all gauges and entertainment are contained in a separate screen, you don't have to do any rewiring

I confirm, you don't need premium connectivity, it's all going through your phone.
Wow that lag is abysmal zero reliably for google earth not a safe option ...yeah ill stick with my cancelled apple tv and netflix subscription and just pay for premium connectivity...(Netflix and apple tv are free for T-Mobile anyways)

@@RobertRosenfeld1 No, it's junk. I bought one. This same exact one. On Amazon, thankfully, but still took a month, shipped from China. I sent it back. The final straw was one day the website you have to go to to run this, gave me a certificate issue. I spent weeks trying to get the company to fix the issue, but all of their suggestions failed. Drove me crazy. This was just a few months ago, and was their latest software and all that. When it works, its pretty decent, except for S/XM was horrible to use. But the constant connection issues drove me insane. I was constantly trying to reconnect it, looking for the magic sequence. Seemed like I found it, but still had to do it all the time. ALMOST every time I got in the car I had to set it up again. Sometimes it was fine! Definitely a buggy product.
