you post so many videos and nothing new from your videos I am not sure why you doing that. dont post until you have somthing solid man
Are you on Elon’s payroll ?
Wow, you pulled off a 360 degree spin. What’s up with that ? 56 videos on don’t buy a Y now yo buy now
Like I mentioned, I like to give the counter-argument to my thoughts all of the time. For some, now is a great time to buy. Personally, I'd wait.
@@RobertRosenfeld1I feel the same as well not just because of Tesla but the market. I think in general car sales are down. Anez with people knowing tesla has to put out a new refresh or some type of upgrade to change the Y many people are sitting and saying why would they buy. If people continue to back off prices will continue to come down due to supply and lacking demand.
@@RobertRosenfeld1I agree with you this is a very informative video, who knows what’s going to happen after he fired so many people, Juniper could end up being another Cybertruck timesuck. BYD has 6 dealerships in Mexico now and Vinfast opened in California, this will be an interesting quarter😎
Might that be a 180 degree instead? 😉
I’m still going to wait for the end of the year announcement of the model Y Juniper. I’d like to know what I’m turning down before I jump on the current Y version. Additionally, Tesla may offer deeper discounts on existing inventory if I choose to buy the older version 🤔.
Hi i have a model y rwd 2023 , june will be the first year that i have it , but i always been interested in having a model performance, due to the rebates on it now , do you think it’s the best moment to buy it ? It’s at it’s lowest price ever I t
How do I get the quicksilver option in Canada?
Don’t be fooled by the media about the Tesla model Y. The build quality has improved but still isn’t the best and charging isn’t that fast either. They’ll tell you it 250 kW, however the average is only 100kW on a 150kW, V2 charger and 124kW on a 250kW V3. Which makes it 2 minutes faster than the Ariya on the V2 and 5 minutes faster on the V3, but the Ariya has 10 miles more real range, 280 as opposed to the model Y long range 280.
Agree with your points. I am getting a Quick Silver next Tuesday and trade in 2003 Long Range.
What about range?
What will happen to model s in the future? Will stir by wire be added to make the yoke usable by not having to turn wheel over 180 degrees?
Great video. You addressed what I've been concerned with ie. buy now or wait. Thank you.
I’ve got a 2019 Model 3 AWD lr with 132,000 mi
I’m looking at a Model 3 ludicrous for the suspension and seat upgrades.
Any leaks on the battery type and range on the juniper?
Aside from price would love to hear what some of the negatives are on the model x. Everything I read/hear about the model x is that there’s a lot of issues with the falcon wing doors and the car in general because it’s more complex than any of the other teslas
I had the X for about 5 years and loved it. No issues with the doors.
I just bought my new model Y. Decided not to wait. I appreciate your information, because you verified what I thought!
1st time viewer thinking of buying a 2024 Y RWD vs AWD ( dual motor) . Are the batteries a different type for each ? Lastly- is there a big negative in going w/RWD if long range isn’t an issue?
Thanks, I really enjoyed your video coverage
I went for the awd. Think the difference is the 1 motor LFP vs the AWD older Lithium Ion type. Biggest different is LFP is encouraged to be charged to 100%while the AWD is recommended to 80% to protect from degradation. But.. LFP is not the best performer in COLD climates. And LFP also doesn't have the energy HUMP delivery . So you won't feel the power as much.
You don't get LFP on MY if you are in US.
@@Anson.Canada comfirmed this sadly. But I hear LFP is not good for cold weather and doesn't have the kick the lthiums have.
Hi! I’ve been watching your TH-cam posts for months now while trying to decide the best time to buy my Model Y. I put my down payment on my model Y this last week and I’m picking it up on Tuesday. I chose to purchase now because of the pricing and I really don’t want to wait a whole year for the juniper even though the juniper is going to be amazing. I also feel like there’s always gonna be something better coming when it comes to EV and electronics so I’m just going for it! I also just purchased the MagBak iPhone charger using your code so thank you very much! I am bummed that the MagBak wheel covers are for 20 inch and 21 inch wheels only. I’m purchasing the 19 inch wheels with the plan of covering them up.
Same boat as you. Think I'll buy NOW instead of 1 year. Looks like it won't have the new SS batteries that are being produced in the eastern world. Those suckers give you over 600 miles range and charge in 10 minutes. That's the FUTURE! From what I gathered... Juniper won't have that.
Will the Refresh have Version 5 hardware ?
No
@@RobertRosenfeld1 But it can potentially have a front facing camera on the bumper, just like the Cybertruck.
I was under the impression the refresh was delayed by over a year to mid 2025, why are you saying it’s coming way before we expected!?
agreed.
during the first two weeks of April, MYLR was 43-44K including taxes&fees. 2 days away from May. price is currently 47K. same exact vehicle. California prices.
"Juniper" will be refresh. not new generation. there will be slight improvements. price of "Juniper" increasing would only make sense. most vehicle manufactures release upcoming year models during October/November. Tesla launched 2024 models in late February/early March.
i pulled the trigger due gas savings. auto insurance was only about $50 higher. 2024 standard MY for nearly 42K.
unfortunately, i wasn't able to secure price adjusted Long Range Model Y. as I was not fully aware and still yet considering an EV vehicle. i miss the V8. however, its crazy to own new Tesla with it having lower ownership costs.
to save few more grand. i'd think the only way would be to drive older Japanese sedan/SUV with high MPG that's in well-maintained condition.
cautious charging. buying new. responsibility will go long way to maintain this car as technology improves for increased range and etc.
good one
I've driven with and without stalks. The stalks are not needed. Much cleaner without the stalks as well.
I ordered mine recently because don’t know if the 7500 federal tax for the new 2025 y there next year then my state is going to charge state sales tax soon. Plus my state is charging more for EV vehicle registrations.
I have a Model 3 RWD and looking to upgrade to a Model S sometime in 2025. Took a Model S for demo recently and it is the best I've driven from Tesla yet. Hoping some new design changes come for the Model S late 2024 / early 2025
Biggest reason is range will be about the same from what I have read. But they will be $5k or more price wise.
Thank you so much for making this, on Saturday I entered the market for a new car…with the assistance of someone behind me who was on their phone and I was really worried I wouldn’t be able to afford another Tesla to replace my current Model Y!
0.99% APR financing available
You gotta make at least 150k though
@@karaofreedom8503 no, the $150k income is a limit to be eligible for the federal tax credit. If you make more than that, you don’t get the tax credit. You can have whatever income they will qualify you for as long as your DTI and credit score is good enough for them.
Bro taking advantage of SEO with all this Tesla videos lmao. He has same thumbnails, titles, and info but just rephrased differently lol
Got mine in March and I am loving it. I don’t want to wait and there is always something new. The car is mature enough and most importantly the mod market is mature enough for me to do electric sun shades. Auto door handles. Electric drunk etc. I don’t want to get a car and wait two years to mod it.
Yeah. Thats thw problem.ALWAYS something new coming. Only thing we all should upgrade to is if the battery technology changes. Like the CATL batteries China is using. They get 640 miles range and can charge in 10minutes to 80%. That's not bad!
I have a 2018 Model 3 and plan to trade it in for a Model Y before the end of this year. I want to get the new quick silver color and as many of the new features as will be available before the end of this year. I really want to wait for the external refresh so that my car doesn’t look like all the others on the road, but I am not sure that I will qualify for the tax credit next year because of some inheritance coming this year.
You can use 2023’s income instead of this year’s income to qualify for the tax credit, if you purchase a MY in 2024.
It worth to change from a model y 2023 to a Tesla model y 2024 ? It? worth the change?
No
I think the Y is the best choice for economic reason just hoping they built more charging stations since not every one owns a home. The gov made a 500K charger promise but that’s a ten year plan and not so sure if they can meet it. Hitting the sub button. Hope I get that Amazon reward.
Also you can’t be sure you will be able to transfer fsb 6 months or a year from now
Just going off of what Elon said on earnings call.
Prices will most likely come down again at the end of the quarter and or year. Obviously , an opinion but it’s all about creating stockholder value by selling units, not margin. All that being said, as they say , don’t buy old technology
"its current form" still going to be the old model in quite a short time, when juniper arrives.
Ordering the model Y now. Waiting on Tesla to finish paperwork.
How do people feel about the interior? When I speak to model 3 owners they tell me the gadgets are cool, but after a few months they are not as much fun anymore. About the interior they tell me it's not well built and the interior actually looks cheap. Now, I believe all of them have an "older" model. What do you guys think about that? Also, a big selling point, I guess, is the self driving tech of Tesla. However, that's not allowed where I live. Would you guys still get a Tesla or would you get something else, in which case: what? Probably good to know, I'm not into 3, I'd want a Y or X, if within budget.
I’m still waiting for Juniper. Better suspension and less road noise is worth it for me
S3XY buttons is bringing an ad-on Stalk option you can attach at some point. (Seems delayed)
Would you consider putting chapter breaks?
I’m new to the EV game so I’m trying to figure out what to do
Model X all the way. Traded-in my older MY for a newer MX and I love it!
Thanks God bless for Tesla
The Juniper could have the new CATL batteries Tesla is working to adapt them, with much more range, faster charging, lighter in weight and cheaper
Yes, and the anticipated range is 600 miles and the battery can recharge in 10 minutes for like 370 miles
@@Greggcc sarcastic?
Nope….for real. Read it in a tech forum. Will it happen.? Have no idea, but I’m going to wait and watch. Not a boring day anymore
you might have the dashboard of model x in model y in 2025. so, you should wait I think.
You don't need to get separate wireless charger tesla is equipped with its own tesla chargers for phone s 😲
This is why I just buy a new model y every 6 months. I'm trying to cost average down 😉
Stalkless in the new Model 3 took me all of 1 day to get use to after 30 years of driving. It's a complete non-issue. Same with every other change. Move with the times people. It's not that hard.
So in a few years when you look to trade in you will be going against model Ys with better features than yours with outdated old features
Too many of the 'pros' to buy a current Y, were simply 'pros' for buying a Tesla.
I just purchasd a Y long range red, with all insntives included ( no gas bs nonsense) just Tesla and Fed incentives, all in for about $41k. I have no regrets, and I think I'm pretty Elon-proof.
Same here. Totaled my car. Got 10k back from it. So 17.5k towards a car. Ended getting MYLR for a total of 31k. Brand new. I could wait for juniper but if it's just cosmetic upgrades... I don't care. I do with we knew if the battery was different with more range. Then for the same price I would wait.
@@bobtruck1594 I'm taking a serious look at a3rd party product that looks pretty painless to install to augment the center screen. I have no affiliation with the company, but they produce a programmable center console dial, so for example, changing modes from "chill" to standard, etc can happen without fiddling with a scroll wheel and looking at the center console. Good Luck with it! The car is pretty amazing, and home charging is pretty inexpensive, at least for the time being
Does your $41K include taxes and registration? I'm in California and the out-the-door total for the long-range Y with the new color red and taxes, et al = $50K.
@@SpeedRacerCAL NH doesn't have sales tax. Yes,the price I quoted included over 2K in delivery charges as well.
@SpeedRacerCAL I kept rhe stock 19s, no other accessories upcharge for thr red paint. I was able to Transfer the cost of a car I sold. I'm guessing when my reg renews in August it'll br 800 or so. New Hampshire charges a $100 surcharge for evs so 900 for a year
Wait ten or fifteen years!
You work for Tesla
Nope
Wait. It'll be much better.
hell no, I aint buying it right now, I would wait even if it takes a year from now. Any amount of gimmicks are not goin to change my decision.
Ryzen tesla processor? Thats from amd 😂
My 2022 Tesla Model Y LR with FSD and every option
can be bought today for $25,000 less
identical in every way
Why anyone would buy a Tesla is beyond me
wait 5 years and get it for the price of the cheapest Chevy
a throw away car
pass! I want my money back! they can't keep the prices fixed they can't be reached by phone, can't enter the car at times, the wheels get road rash just by looking at them, tires are a joke look at the tread at face, insurance cost us 240$ per month and we are no accident drivers. fit and finish is poor! not good I want my money back
I don’t believe people would refuse to buy a car they otherwise like solely because it doesn’t have “stalks.” Do people think Tesla would implement something you couldn’t easily and readily adapt to? Pushing a button 5” away from where the lever would be? Give me a break. S, X, and CT have this and people aren’t selling them over this. Such stupid hype.
Isn't it safer to have the buttons or levers? If so, what if it saves just one person and that one person is me? Sounds like a deal breaker to me, if so.
New model but same boring design 😴
1 video. Just 1 video without showing his personal Teslas.
What?
Your b roll footage always show your own cars. Always
What’s wrong with that?
@@tyronerobertson1750 sounds perfect to me? A guy promoting Tesla driving Tesla sounds about right.
this did not age well
man this guy makes it so easy to downvote his videos
Aren't you tired of talking so much nonsense? You have no information about the new Y model.
When will quick silver come to the united states. The usa is where tesla was born for crying out loud
It is here. They already have some Model Y's in that color and you can order it in that color.
Here’s the bottom line. Wait and see if 2025 is any better (price, looks, performance, etc.). If not, buy a slightly used 2024 and you’ll still come out on top as you will save money from a depreciated 2024 model.
I just order mine, I will be picking it up tomorrow, no regrets. If a better one comes, no problem. This is pretty good as it is.
Wouldn’t the APR be a lot higher for used cars? Tesla is offering .99% APR for Model Ys. I’m genuinely asking out of curiosity, not trying to be smart or anything. I’m not sure what to do that’s why
Are u a zionist
This mofo just uploads the same nontent model y video every day…
