During our last video on How to Replace The Battery In a Car's Key Fob, we encountered a problem. There's a mystery piece of the key fob that came loose! In this video, Bob will show you what to do if your key fob comes apart like this so you can put it back together and get back out on the road.
This video covers the key fob from a Corvette Stingray C7, but other Chevy and GMC key fobs have similar designs and may encounter similar problems when you try to replace its battery.

So most of the video is trying to fix the damage done (with the spring), but then completely skips HOW to get the battery out and how it fits. Gee thanks! Fortunately there are several other useful vids

The video is very clear on how to change the battery. The spring is an added issue that you will encounter. Maybe you don't understand the process.

You have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to change the battery? He addressed the problem a lot of people encounter when opening up the fob. If you need instructions on how to change the battery once you open it you have no business opening up the fob to begin with.
