Thank you for taken the time to make this video. My truck fob died this morning and My first thought was " Great how much is this going to cost me " but thanks to you and TH-cam it was only a couple of dollars and 2 minutes of my time. Thanks again!
Remarkable! Our fob hasn’t worked for a couple months and you made this so simple. Hardest part was getting the new battery out of its packaging! Thank you!
Appreciate it! The owners manual of my trail boss has a totally different fob in there, which was annoying. Thanks for the direct and to the point video without 20 minutes of rambling introduction like most TH-camrs.
Very, Very Helpful! I knew I was going to get hosed if I took my dead battery key fob to the dealer to replace. Probably at least $50.00 just for walking in the place. Thank you again.
Thx man that is simple enough, just wanted to see it done before i broke mine. It is these little seem so simply videos that make a world of difference in my world. So thank you again!
They’re like $180+!! 🎉🎉 I had to get myself a new one so that I have a back up on a used truck that I bought. Everything is so pricing on the new Chevy. I had to replace the air conditioning too, it went out about 30 days after the warranty expire
Thank you for the video. First time I have done this for my truck but I used to do them for Dodge Chargers all the time (was a fleet manager). If you do not have a small screwdriver handy the end of the key works fantastic. Again, thank you!
Easy as pie after watching the clip. It took 2 min to change. I knew there had to be someway to get to the battery instead of taking it to the dealership to have them do it. They prob would’ve charged me $50 to do it!
Need help, after replacing battery on both fobs, my truck seems to have a weak signal or connection to fob. It won't remote start unless I'm sitting in the truck and moving fob close to push to start (2021 chevy silverado diesel duromax)
My keyfob doesn't work in cold weather. I have to put it in my pocket to warm up for a bit before it'll work. Does that mean the battery needs to be replaced?
Good information.. but you do not need a flat head screwdriver.. The key fits right in the slot.. remove the key insert and twist. The same way you would if you used the screw driver.. fyi

YES! I am a woman in my 70’s and this worked so well. Thank you!

Thanks, good directions. I am a 70 yr old lady and didn’t have a clue but now my key remote is fixed😊😊😊

Thanks for the info! I also appreciate you not giving a 7 minute intro on how key fobs work before the tutorial. Great video!
This was great, dealer told me it needed to be replaced, and quoted me $45 to do it.
Same! This video saved us a lot of money!

THANK YOU so much! I'm 70. Learned something new!
Received a on dash message to replace key fob battery on my 2019 Silverado RST. Thanks for making this super easy to understand.
Thank you. My truck has been given the notice for weeks to change the battery and your video made it simple and easy.

Thank you! This whole time I thought I needed to replace whole key fob. So you saved me a lot of money! :)

Worked perfectly in under a few minutes, thanks FobBattery!
Man, thank you so very much. This video made it as simple as simple could be. Merry Christmas.
My fob is a slightly different design (no middle button) but this method still worked. Thanks!
Thanks for the information.
I noticed the external key also fits in the notch to split apart the remote

Thanks so much. You saved me from so much time and aggravation. Cheers!
You can also use the key that you removed instead of a screwdriver!
VERY HELPFUL. I thought it was a 2052 or 2025. Good news was 2032. Thanks.
Thank you very helpful! This is my first truck with a fob instead of insertable key ignition
Thank you for the simple not long drawn out video. 🤙
Thank you! Watched it and was done at the end of the video. Quick and easy!
Thanks! Easy peasy, after watching your video 😂
Quick and easy battery replacement. Thank you.
👍🏽. You can also use the tip of the key to pry the remote apart in case you don’t have a screwdriver.
Good video takes the mystery away Thanks

The interior key also opens the fob. Has a small flat at the end for this reason.
You're the Best! Thank You for the video.🙃

FYI, you can use the key from the fob instead of a screwdriver to separate the key fob.
Thanks
