    I just made this recipe, and it is one of the best I've ever tried! The people making comments about it spoiling and just being rude to this wonderful creator, she is just teaching a simple butter. If you think you can do better, go do it!!!

      Hi there. Can you tell me if you used all the exact same ingredients she did in her recipe? I tried making a small batch just to test out (not to be shelf stable or anything like that) so I did not add the preservative to her homemade aloe vera gel since I don't have any preservatives, but I used the same other ingredients. After adding the aloe and whisking it into the butter it became very stiff and hard. Do you know what I might have done wrong? I was really hoping to be able to use home made aloe gel and my block of shea butter.

    Hi new subscriber here. Wow such simple ingredients, I love THIS! I'm going to do this as a face cream of course I gotta do a couple of batch tests first. But I absolutely love shea butter and aloe vera gel for the face. 😍Also guys, the ones concerned about the product spoiling or whatever, the natural vitamin E is an anti-oxidant that prevents products from going rancid or spoiling. Also store bought aloe vera gel already has a preservative in it, or at least it should, check for ingredient on the container such as phenoxyethanol or any other preservative name. The product lasts as long as your shortest raw ingredient shelf life does. Me personally I would label 6 mos from use.

    • @animationbox1
      @animationbox1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Preservatives usage is calculated to the formula and weight, with different PH coverage and temperature limitations. so store bought Aloe Vera gel contains preservatives designed only to that particular product, not to any new formulas you plan to use with the gel.
      The particular vitamin E used in skincare to extend shelf life is vitamin E T-50, INCI name Tocopherol. There are different types of vitamin E, better check the ingredients or inci labels.

    Hello, your bodybutter with aloe vera gel looks great. How long does this body butter last because of the aloe vera gel? Do I have to keep it in the fridge because of the aloe vera? And how do you DIY the aloe vera gel? Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

      Do you know how to measure for percentage to grams? because that is the key.

    Is it possible to use regular shea butter as I can’t get the one you recommended using? Thanks

    Would you keep it in the fridge?
    Or is it more like a lotion?

    Can this method be used for body scrubs? Im trying to make a whipped shea butter body scrub without having to add in a emulsifier or any additives
