"Try not to 'over-mix' it?" How can you over mix it? I would think that extended mixing would just make it fluffier and who would object to that? All the same, it is a beautiful result. Very nice!
Hello I enjoyed your video was just wondering couldn’t you use a potato masher to mash the shea butter in the beginning as to not over mix once you add the oil
Thank you for this, Renee. I'm a newbie, but have made some lovely butters from scratch. I LOVE this simplicity of this AND that it stays creamy. Can't wait to try.
First thank you for your knowledge and recipe and second is i have natural yellow shea butter would that work? Also i only have 2 oz of jojoba oil could i also sub 2 oz of caster oil maybe too? Thank you!!!
Hi Renee I would like to make my own body butter for personal use. There is no cream or lotion on the market that works for me. I have extremely dry skin. Everything I use do not penetrate and moisturize my skin. It sits on top and back dry. The only thing that works is Vaseline. I would like to make something that will work like that and stay. My skin is so dry it’s starting to have that crepey skin look . Nothing keeps it moisturized. Please help. Thank you
Have you tried looking into your diet? You might have food allergies you don't know about. One of my kids is allergic to what and had a similar issue with his skin. It would get dried and cracked and nothing would help the moisture stay in. We had him tested for food allergies and turns out it was the what causing the skin issues. Just something to consider.

Yes you can use yellow shea butter. You use castor oil but it is a little thicker than jojoba oil so the body butter might feel a little different. I
Very nice ❤
Will it harden up if we was to melt the shea butter?

Instead of Vaseline use glycerin
Make shea , grapeseed oil, vitamin E, fragrance, glycerin.
Thank you @big4002 for your reply. I will try it.

@@SimpleDesertRoseWhat is your son allergic to? I didn't understand in your comment.

Yay...welcome! Thank you for subscribing!
@@ReneeBarnettTV you welcome 💕
Can I use other kind of oil?
Yes you can use a different carrier oil, just make sure it's one that easily absorbs into the skin.
What is the name of the oil?
Jojoba oil
Why not melt Shea Butter? Melting takes care of any impurities in the Butter too. I don’t know just a thought watching the Butter being too clumpy.
You can certainly melt the butter, but this is an option as well ☺️
I love ur videos...I mk my own as well Thank u for sharing ur knowledge with all ❤
