    Safety Information:
    Do not practice this breathwork during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions, should always consult a medical professional before starting breathwork. These breathing exercises are a guide only, you should always listen to your own body and not push yourself, if you feel unwell STOP. Never practice breathing exercises before or during diving, driving, swimming, taking a bath, or in any other circumstance where the loss of consciousness could result in bodily harm. Deep breathing may cause tingling sensations, a ringing in the ears, and/or light-headedness. These are normal responses and are no cause for alarm. If you faint, however, you have gone too far and should take it more slowly next time.

    I’ve had panic attacks since I was 8 and I’m in my mid 20’s now. Managing it has become easier, but the sudden rush of fright and impending doom never gets easier. It’s a horrible feeling and my heart goes out to everyone who has anxiety, minor or severe.

      i had my first panic attack at 7 while the teacher was reading to us in a circle 😢 so many people can’t comprehend having anxiety at such a young age and my heart goes out to you for having experienced that. i’m 28 now and obviously here so i get how relaxing sometimes can be hard. best of luck friend❤

      My panic attacks started when I was 20 .. medication helped ... I stopped taking them a few years later and haven't needed help for this since about 3 months ago I'm now 43 and in a constant state of panic .. it's horrible ... 😢 Sending strength and love to everyone who suffers from mental health ❤

      @@biancacarmichael8465I tried to get off Zoloft, but after 6 months of constant panic like you mention I got back on. Once you take for many years it seems impossible to get off. I never had a panic attack until after I started it for 2 months then stopped suddenly. So I am addicted for life

    I’m probably responsible for at least 4k of the views on this video lol. I’ve suffered from debilitating panic attacks that come in clusters throughout the years. I get BP spikes that are stroke level sometimes. THIS IS MY GO-TO VIDEO! As soon as I feel my BP rising or the panicky feeling I pop my Ativan and start doing this breath work. It truly works better than anything else for lowering BP and pulling me out of the fight/flight. I combine this method with diaphragmatic breathing and it works even better. I hope this helps anyone else who could relate. ❤️

    ❤ Thank you for this video. Those of us with anxiety disorders sometimes have trouble focusing on breathwork on our own, just out of sheer agitation. It's wonderful to follow along. I also love it that this breathwork video doesn't go into Buddhism or religion or secular instruction on mindfulness. Those things have been very helpful to me, too, but this is just the breath, clean and simple. I, too, am benefitting greatly from yoga, tai chi, hiking, kayaking, prayer, joining groups through park districts, libraries, forest preserve districts. Other videos some of you may love are by Andrew Weil, Eckhart Tolle and Thich Nhat Hahn. Just telling you what helps me. Thanks again and good luck to everyone! 🍀

    Hi folks, it took me time to figure it out so you don’t have to.
    First take care of your spin, do the stretching. Then stretch your muscles in the area of armpits. After the stretching you are good to start breathing in line with the exercise.
    After that you are a whole different person. If it helped you, don’t thank me, just spread the knowledge further.

    • @absentbydefault
      @absentbydefault 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      And be careful when smoking weed. Initially it helps indeed, but when you start treating it as a solution it starts intensifying your problems and making everything worse. Like everything in the world, it has pros and cons, 1x a month for expanding horizons is cool, but smoking daily sucks and affects your mind and body.

    • @ishce
      @ishce 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think to spread this knowledge further more people needa comment because this helped me. Before i would feel weird and I realized it was exactly this that helped me, stretching especially armpits are crucial

    I am TERRIFIED right now. I have extreme emetaphobia so i have a massive fear of sick. This stops ms from doing regular activities such as, going to work, school and public situations. These past 2 days i went to work, handling money, talking to public and not always keeping hands clean as they could be. Tonight im feeling really sick, im hot, my stoumach is gurgling and im really scared ive caught a bug and I'm going to throw up. I feel so so sick. I really hope this helps

      Be mindful that sometimes nausea and being hot is a pure sympathetic response from the body, so it could be completely rooted in anxiety. Feel better!

    Ur opinion please
    I feel we should Inhale & Exhale only through nose only becoz d restrictions inside nose restrict entry of foreign particle in body while inhale & while exhale v should force out such particle out the nose instead of giving them chance to enter d body again on Inhale

    That ding at the beginning triggered my anxiety! I fought to get beyond that.

    Emetaphobia and drunk. Doesn't mix well. Hopefully this will get me through the night without being sick and get me some good rest 🤞

    Can I purchase a CD of this breathing exercise? I often find myself without wifi access and a CD would be perfect.

    If anyone is out there I have a quick question. Is it in through the nose and out through the mouth, or in through the nose and out through the nose?

    • @wetonwet3655
      @wetonwet3655 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First breath was a light in nose out nose the actual breathing is in the nose then out mouth but you want your mouth to add resistance so you can reach 8seconds easily
