Do you like fishing right after a big storm?
I'll fish after a storm if thats the only time I have to fish, but I have better luck before the storm.
One of the best days I ever had was immediately after a huge storm. I was sitting in the truck waiting for the storm to pass and headed out as soon as we could and had a great time. I know that isn’t the same as post frontal bluebird days but it was something I will never forget.
Fishing right after a big storm can be a lot of fun. Sadly, here it generally means the humidity is going to go from 90% to 130% and everything just feels like being in a sauna, lol.
I enjoy fishing after a storm, the discharge from culverts brings up the level, and the shore fishing gets better for me.Go Lowbrow 💥🎣✌️.
That's awesome!
I always felt like any day fishing could be a good day based on your attitude.
Agreed! Attitude is everything!
I almost never go fishing after a storm since the ground around the lake is muddy to walk in and it's hard to catch fish. It has rained here a lot lately so I'm going to try again next chance I get
The bank can get muddy for sure!
One of the biggest bass I ever caught was right after a storm. Green pumpkin TRD ned rig dragged slow.
That is awesome!
Finally hit paddle tail swimbait season down here! Central FL
Such a fun way to catch bass!
More good stuff buddy! I'd much rather fish before the storm, but I like to throw some topwater right after. Thanks for the tips!
Thanks so much for watching!
It's almost sad that the day after a storm is so calm and beautiful but the fishing is so hard! Another awesome video LB!
It can be almost serene for sure!
Shhh but I like to use nightcrawlers at dirt banks after it rains but I throw topwater baits or hairjigs during the rain. Thanks
Good tip!
Thanks so much for the great videos!!!! Could you tell me the exact color of those red/ blood worms?
As I mentioned in the video, they're called black core. They should be available at Tackle Warehouse or Bass Pro.
For post frontal conditions I like to move out from the bank a bit and use something like a drop shot or a Carolina rig. Caught some nice bass after storms.
Those are great techniques!
Those red trick worms look killer! Never seen those before.
That color really worked well!
What the hell is a "mako rig" and a "wako rig" ?
A Waco rig is something I developed a while ago. I've done quite a few videos on it that you can check out! It's easy to do and catches tons of fish!
