My personaly favorite way to trick a genie is to ask for all the knolage of the world including infinite IQ, but before that I ask for so much mental fortitude that even an eldrich horror wouldn't faze me. Then ask for something along the lines of infinite wishes in a clever way.

To trick a Genie I would use my first wish to wish for no rules and then I would wish for infinite wishes. Or I would use my first two wishes and wish for the genie to forget everything that just happened
