I watched this and went from feeling incredibly inspired to ultimately humbled. You've always been my inspiration, I've watched you for 8 years and have always felt so alike to you. I completely understand how, after 10 years, you would want a change. My fiancé has two TH-cam channels just over 100k and it really is all consuming. Part of me still wishes I could begin animating too (as someone who can draw but definitely can't animate!) and try this path myself - but I realise I'm 27 right now and I still lack so much confidence. 16 year old Jaiden is literally 27 year old Selena.
Thank you so much for every video, all the determination and effort you've put into each animation, and just for being so openly you. You're the most relatable TH-camr I've ever had the privilege of watching. Keep being you, and enjoy life however you want to! Your life is your own, you deserve the utmost happiness. It's really crazy because the more creators that are essentially my age begin to retire, I start to feel really old. ;_; I really hope Jaiden is around for just a little longer at least. Got to thank her for the joy that I've felt from watching her videos. Recently with the ADHD thing and Ace stuff it's been great to see a sudden burst of representation too.

Not only is Jaiden a good animator, she's also a really good script writer and I feel like a lot of people gloss over that. Her words are so consistently straight to the point but also light hearted and kind. That takes honest talent and skill to convery so effectively in her hundreds of videos so yeah, kudos to Jaiden.

The idea of Jaiden retiring to a small house in the countryside and Jacob is still there with her just being Jacob and doing Jacob things is really amusing to me. i mean is pretty much true about EVERY negative coment who aren't objectif or meant to help someone to improve, and in every field, toward anyone not only content creator, no one have never gain anything to be an asshole toward someone else (even in the case this someone esle had done something bad), but people will still be people and hate on each other for no reason, sometime even assume the other are bad people or choose to interpret something negatively or agressivly whitout any proof while it could be a neutral comment just to feel their have the "right" to be mean to them, while even if they were right (thing they cant know) it would still be a bad thing to do :)

the peak of storytime animations really inspired me to pursue art and find communities that im still a part of till this day, they became my comfort and inspiration. Jaiden, domics, and james were some of the first few youtube animators i subscribed and became genuinely obsessed with. im so thankful this community was a big part of my life. Happy birthday
I remember when I was 10, discovering this little channel before it hit 1 mil back in 2016, and falling in love with it. I binged your videos and I called my older sister on the phone to tell her all about them, and she became a fan too. We went on to tell our brothers and mom, and soon we were all watching.
It's been a while since then, and I'm not sure if they keep up with you anymore, but this video was really touching to watch. I've been growing up with this content for eight years now, and it seems like a lot of the experiences you would speak about in a video was either something I could relate to, or something that would end up finding a way into my life not long later.
The videos where you talked about Miku, Omori, Japan, Pokemon and so much more made me so excited - I was so excited to see someone I look up to talk about the things I love, reference things I love in little easter eggs, play music I love in the background. The mental health struggles ended up reflecting a lot of my own, but it helped to have a light shed on them, and it helped to have the comfort of seeing someone else come out of it okay. I even found out I was aroace around the same time you released your "Being Not Straight" video, and these past years have given me lots of time to not only come to terms with it, but cherish my identity and community. I go back to that video over and over to scroll through the comments, to see how many people like me you've helped, and it makes me so, so happy. It makes me want to inspire people like you have, especially with my own art.
I'm a bit misty right now, but I am so glad I stumbled across your channel when I was 10. I'm 18 and off to college now, and I look forward to experiencing the fresh ways your content will resonate with me in this new chapter. i remember my first jaiden video was the one about being sick, my friend in 8th grade was an artist and they loved animation videos and recommended i watch jaiden and i was HOOKED, i cant believe it’s been 6 years already
I remember being 12 years old (I’m 21 now) and watching your videos and thinking “wow! she’s just like me!” and i remember how much confidence it gave me, to know that someone like myself can be successful. now it’s been almost 10 years since then, and we’ve both grown into confident, strong people. thank you for showing pre-teenage me that i was worth something even though i was anxious, quiet and insecure. I’m proud of us :)

I WAS 11 WHEN I WATCHED YOUR FIRST ANIMATION. i remember talking about it with my friends at school who also watched it, truly wanted to be an animator right there, but you introduced me to digital art more and now ive been doing that as my side quests because i pursue architecture. thank you jaiden!! and thank you for that laptop to break, i also wouldnt be here without it, the biggest butterfly effect.

10 years ago I was about 7, I remember asking my mom almost every day "can I watch Jaiden on the big TV?" "Do you know if Ms Jaiden posted?" And she was so confused on what set you apart from normal cartoons and why I wouldn't just watch bubble guppies or something. I think it's just the fact you're actually relatable and you're like a REAL person. Regardless, it's very nice to see how far along you've come! I hope to have many more years of watching this channel

Jaiden saying she plans to retire eventually is like finding out your favorite show only has one season left: you love it so much that you don’t want it to end, but you understand that every story needs closure for the next chapter/book.

It could be like The Simpsons and just make episodes for eternity. Although really I'm pretty sure that none of the people that worked on the first episode are still working on it. I doubt that James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, or Sam Simon are still working on it.
From a guy who's been around the block a few times, it is amazing where/how opportunities show up, and the strange directions they take you. So keep your eyes open, and never be afraid to jump. That is how you get stuck in a dead end job wondering where the years went. Not that I would know, jumping into the abyss is my speciality.
The videos about mental health are probably some of the most impactful videos I've seen. As a kid I always knew i had this thing called "anxiety" but i had no clue what it meant. It was those videos that really helped me understand what it was, and im pretty grateful.

I’ve been watching this channel since around 2016/2017 and now I’m preparing to head off to college to study animation. Storytime animations, especially the ones Jaiden made, were such a massive part of my life in middle school and are a large part of the reason I’m pursuing this art form. Thank you SO much Jaiden!!
