It's an unfortunate side effect of our civil rights.
You are allowed to face your accuser on the stand. Most prosecutors don't want to put a traumatized child on the stand. It can be really hard to get a conviction without a victim's testimony.
So rather than risk them being found "not guilty" by a jury, most prosecutors would rather cut a deal, so at least the chomo is on a list.

      @hello93617 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +136

Any crimes that actually warrant life in prison should simply be Capital Punishment but the Prison Profit Industry has convinced the general public that Prison is for rehabilitation and not justice therefor lawyers are even allowed to argue against cap Punishment and citizens think it's taboo to execute sometimes. But people should consider this, execution shows swift justice is deal and appeases victims family more and shows society that we don't tolerate evil which has positive social impact. On top of this, For prisoners who do get out after such crimes, they usually re-offend and the long time they spent in Prison actually ceases from being punishment after maybe 1-2 years. They simply adjust to prison and know they are not getting out and it is what it is. So all locking them up did was keep them away from harming more folks outside but it's not a punishment anymore.
Then consider that it cost tax dollars to keep them housed and fed, your tax dollars, many prisons are for profit so they want more housed prisoners and the fact that they get free healthcare, drug culture, gang culture, and relationships between Correction officers and Prisoners form both sexual and beneficial (criminally) AND it's a myth that all pedo's and r*pist just get killed in prison, some do, most don't. So when you hear people get angry and say "you're going to rot in prison" Are they? I mean in reality? are they? No. They're restricted but they're just fine. People should think about all I said here when considering the idea of long term prison sentencing. In my view in light of REALITY prison should be for short term minor crimes and even those criminals if they stack up many many minor crimes should also be executed. Problem solved. Minor crimes lead to bigger crimes and even for those who don't, they clearly do not care to live in peace with the general public and arresting with the concept of rehab does not work so, just get rid of them. Safer country, justice served.

If he was a good person, he wouldn't have robbed and murdered a man. "You can't go around killing people" is the perfect thing to say. If only more people understood how basic the justice system is like this man did. Major respect for him.

      @islamisthetruewaytogod6812 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way) don't help either. Thank you very much for your time.
First of all, if you have any questions regarding Islam and yourself, just open the Quran randomly, and you will find the answer in front of you, like a miracle and a sign from God.

Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them).
Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).
Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.
Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement.
It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them.
(19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad)..
God said : Say, “We believe in Allah, and in what was revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and in what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. And to Him, we surrender.”
      (2:136 / Translated by Community)

Musta been a duck gone rogue! Maybe, a big duck - like a goose? (i know they are diffrn't, we raised'm & I had to feed the ornery buggers...) The ganders(males) chased me about 500 ft, wings flapping, hissing! I was a tiny little thing, I was 16yrs, 5'0 & 80lbs, but a dang fast runner; so they did it for their exercise - just to see if they could intimidate - they did!😁; I swore my legs melted a little shorter every day! With their wings flappin, they were at least 1/2 as tall as I. But, that was then, this is now - I'm 5'2" and 101lbs and I don't live on a farm anymore.

And whats sad is these kids were just starting life and made the worst decisions now they will never know raising a family getting real love from someone who actually cares they instead will be behind bars only dates they will get will be in the dark and it won't be romantic at all my dad taught us you handle problems with fists not a gun or knife using any of these shows you cant stand your ground especially when the other person is unarmed or has no idea they are being targeted. I feel sorry they ruined their lives but no remorse when they take lives we all learned in either school church or both that taking lives is wrong no matter the beef id rather quash beef and admit when I was wrong and try to move past it. Its tragic such young people lose their lives or end up in prison for life because they couldn't stop and think rationally. What's even worse is when they show 0 sorrow for taking someone's family away.

      Salam (Peace) ---------------------

I want you to know that teens although "underaged" are not dumb, not dangerous or in my view should even be treated differently than adults. If you do research you will see case after case after case of teens murdering and doing the most evil acts possible just like adults. What difference does it really make if a 14 year old murders and ditches a body, has no remorse vs a 18 or 21 year old? Someone was still killed and they did the same things as an adult. I never liked the concept of "trail as an adult" as it dodges the seriousness and evil of the act done while at the same time misses the point of law which is "Hand out fair justice". We have cases of pre-teens conspiring to murder their own friends or parents and doing it yet they get light sentencing or far less because "They're kids". Mind you, most kids are not conspiring to do such things at all even when angry at their parents.
This all comes from the idea of scientific reasons to lesson the punishment for children who do evil. That is to say, "They're just kids maybe they don't know better and their brains no developed fully" , which although is partially true about full brain development, the claim that they don't know better or that they are innocent is completely bogus. Your 5 year old knows you told him not to touch the cookie jar, therefor he sneaks to touch it to break the rule to try to avoid consequence but get what he wants. A 12 year old knows murder is murder and that it's wrong, that's why they do it and hide it, lie and such to try to get out of it when caught. If they didn't know, they would be oblivious to trying to hide things. We even see mentally ill kids who do acts of evil trying to get out of it, but they're the only ones who are sometimes candid more often due to mental illness. They talk in straightforward ways about the crimes sometimes, like oh yeah I stabbed George 50 times because the Green lady told me he was out to get me, and they mean it.

This is what concerns me. We know full well as parents any slightest “issue” with our kids. Do we want to support them sure. If there’s lack of empathy , dangerous behaviour , no remorse etc we have to look at where we’ve not taught them these basics at an early age. That mother is avoiding accountability at all costs. I do think if the carers or parents don’t raise concerns and ask for support for their kid or on parenting they should be to some extent equally as accountable when they’re still developing kids. If my daughter did any of these things there is no way I wouldn’t also be somewhat accountable. In the U.K. we have a law called joint enterprise in which multiple people can be convicted for the same of the crime , if the court decides they foresaw that the other party was likely to commit that crime. For me, in these cases surely that applies to the parents?

9 times out of 10, monsters are raised to be monsters by the emotional neglect their parents force them to endure, psychological abuse, and sometimes (not always) severe abuse.
When you tell infants/toddlers/young children and teens "stop crying or I'm gonna really give you something to cry about" or when they start crying and you completely ignore them, or you act as if they're invisible and never console them, or maybe instead you make them go to their room and don't allow them to come out until they're no longer crying...you are damaging that child's emotional development and failing to activate their empathy centers so that they their brain can learn to feel empathy for others.
If your child is f'ed up, go look long and hard in the mirror...and start asking yourself how you failed that child as a parent because *less than 5% of the global population are BORN psychopaths* and the vast majority of sociopaths are made.
