- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions. When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.This series will feature a set of some classic songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed, mainly between the period 1945 - 1992, and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focused on old songs. Re programmed and arranged by musicians.

I started watching this QFR channel just recently (introduced by my Sister). I am now addicted to QFR channel (when I'm bedridden under home quarantine bcoz of covid). Extraordinary and brilliant songs from 60s, 70s and 80s. The in-depth anaysis by Subhashree Madam is making us to listen to the songs word by word and instrument by instrument. Your songs are my only consolation (when I felt, I'm succumbing and going out of this world due to covid). But, it is true that music soothes my mind and body and I'm recovering. It takes me back to my childhood days (68 born). Many songs brought tears in my eyes as not only the songs but also the memories it carry. Keep up your momentum.
