- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are fresh and re created. No retakes. One stretch live performance.

V Kumar and his troupe performed in the wedding reception of my sister in 1981 and I booked Kumar at his simple flat. He was simple and humble
I still vividly remember. A malarum ninaivugaL program, I guess, in Doordarshan. It was with the unassuming legend V Kumar sir himself. It was in 1991 after Diwali. I remember the year & period because, to a question of what song he likes amongst recent songs, Kumar sir immediately quoted kaNmaNi anbodu kaadhalan naan aezhudhum kadithame song. In that great interview, kumar sir mentioned how MSV sir was in love with this composition. It seems whenever MSV sir saw kumar sir after this song, MSV sir will go to a quick ecstasy and say "உன்னிடம் மயங்குகிறேன்.... குமாஆஆஆர்"

I was longing for this song to be in this program. What a wonderful song! Can you believe that V Kumar was originally looking for SPB' to sing this song and after month's of waiting for his dates he chose Yesudas. SPB later regtetted missing a wonderful opportunity.
Today's singer Sharath is my favourite. He was a product of "Padutha Theeyaga" telugu reality show and seeing his talent SPB advised to him to learn Tamil so that he could contest here. What a transformation in him! Really soulful singing by him
