First, my has it grown since then and Juneau's docking area was HUGE. Second, how much of the glaciers we have lost because of global warming. It's sad, but still stunning to see. Thanks for sharing your travels and buds with us.
Very nice video. Nicely filmed and edited. Love the smile on your face. I am superseded you had such sunny weather. Says you went May 13th of 2023. The snow is not as far down on the mountains as I would have thought. We went July 6th of 2023. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. I love that you included the art in the stairwells. I did a video on the art last as well, but not much luck with views, lol. Your day in Glacier Bay was the best. We were there last week and it was raining. Thank you sharing.
My wife and I were on this same cruise exactly one year earlier (May 2022). We've now been on five different cruises and this one is our favorite. While there, we even went on a whale watching excursion and actually saw some whales! Also, we really enjoyed seeing so many awesome Bald Eagles. We plan to return to Alaska next year for our 50th wedding anniversary.
We are hoping to book this cruise for early August. We have watched many videos and yours just blew us away. Could you tell me the music from the beginning of the video just after the cruise announcements? Its absolutely beautiful but I cant seem to find it anywhere. Thanks 😊

Great video, Andrew! I loved it! I’ll be sailing the Koningsdam on Aug 26 for the same cruise and I’ll be in room 1008. I was wondering if it was noisy in your room at night when the bands were performing on deck 2? Also, did you feel any motion sickness from being in the front of the ship? Thank you!
I only felt the motion on the 1st night. The rest of the cruise was smooth sailing. The location of my cabin was amazing - you will be far enough away from the bars to not hear anything, while close enough to be there within minutes. I only occasionally heard people coming and going from their cabins, but got used to that by the second night. Enjoy your cruise, you're going to have an amazing time!
@@CruisingWithChooChoo Once you're there, the ship stays for a few hours, so don't worry. You will have a lot of time to get your perfect photos and videos, from many different locations on the ship. The night before Glacier Bay, you may want to have an early night, so you can get up early. ☺️
Great video. How did you end up with such nice weather? I went to Alaska on the Koningsdam (same itinerary) two weeks after you and the only sunny day was in Skagway.
I was surprised by our luck with the weather, as was everyone on the ship and in the ports. I had packed for cold and wet, but never used those clothes.

went to alaska last week, what a rip off, this ship sucked ass. food bad, no wild life, bad weather. this ship sucks ass!
Sailed Koningsdam in September 2024 and the Blues band was awesome. They did repeat their song lists towards the end of the cruise however.

After the interior land trip on the bus/train do you come back to the ship each night or do they put you up in a hotel for the night?
My journey started and ended in Vancouver. My itinerary didn't include a land trip. The train in the video was part of an excursion.
This cruise didn't have any overnight stays at any ports, so I always slept on the ship.
