    After owning my 2016 for 5 years to get best launch rev to 4k launch, short shift 1st at 5k and take 2nd to 60. Thats how you get the low 5sec 0 to 60. I have played around with other WRX who don't know their car and they always think I have serious mods when my car is stock, totally stock limited edition...

      It affects the torque vectoring mode as well as it turns it off. I just feel as if I’m getting more power down to the ground and it’s not being hampered or held back from certain wheels. • @tro_b0t
      @tro_b0t ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There are pre-made tunes, often called off the shelf tune/map, by COBB so no Dyno tuning is required when just going Stage 1.
      These tunes aren't perfect as each engine is a little different so it isn't as dialled in as what a Dyno tune, sometimes called a pro-tune, will get you but when just running stage 1 you'll see negligible differences from getting a Dyno tune and the off the shelf.

    Really nice video man. I have a 2021 WRX and love it. These are true rally cars so on twisty roads and in and out of lanes especially on gravel and wet surface the WRX, even though it’s not the fastest it will outperform any mustang dodge charger or Camaro as these are straight rear wheel, drive muscle cars. On a straight line they can eat a WRX for breakfast anytime bet on twisty roads and in and out of traffic hands-down to the WRX so I would takeoff gently and then punch it and switch gears at your desire RPMs, again if you want a real fast car get a muscle car but this WRX has everything in one package handling performance, all wheel drive bc is a sexy performance car.😎👍

      Personally I hold the traction control button for a few seconds to make sure it's all the way off then hold the rpms at around 4500 to 5k then letting off the clutch is somewhere between dumping it and being gentle. You'll feel that balance as you practice

    • @fanningconstruction2050
      @fanningconstruction2050 ปีที่แล้ว

      So the deal with the wrx is its sensitive to drive. The clutch bite point is critical here. The trick is feather the gas and slip the clutch until it grabs, then smooth release while gassing. (No need to feather once she grabs)

    • @trautmedia3074
      @trautmedia3074 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can go stage 1 tune with a bone stock car. (AOS or catback exhaust are fine). In order to go stage 1+ you must have an intake. If you use the cobb tune you must have the Cobb intake. Same applies for MAperformance. This way the tune and intake match. Hope this was helpful and if you’re on the fence about doing it just do it. Worth every dime!

    • @trautmedia3074
      @trautmedia3074 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      casimero tagle most companies that realease ots tunes require you to use their intakes so you don’t mix and match. So you could either get a Cobb intake and use their tune through the V2 accessport as they create the tune for their specific parts. Your other option would be to pay a pro tuner to create a custom tune for you based on the parts you have which would allow you to mix and match. Hope this was helpful and it’s cool that you have a Bugeye!
