Here's a link to the headlight cover if interested autologuedesign.com/products/buff-interceptorgt-headlamp-cover-bs6 (no, not sponsored or affiliated) ... I got the headlight cover from Autologue Designs, and as mentioned, they were great; my issues come from trying to get it to match Mr Clean!
Looks great and the gold ties it in with the tank. There is a process that uses a spray chrome, has to be done by a specialist, but is then clear coated and resilient. Seen it done and it looks good.
Yes, if the vinyl doesn't hold up well I'll look into other options. Had a hard time finding good recommendations for chrome on plastic. Most of the paints looked more gray than chrome. Also concerned about peeling and chipping.
Man..I love your continental, its my dream bike..thank you for experimenting all kinds of stuff i d want to do if I had one, i fear they ll discontinue it until I will start earning enough.
The Fairing looks fantastic, not sure about the Gold effect around the headlight rim though, but if you like it great Be careful not to park the bike with a strong wind from behind, I did that a long time ago with a bike that I had fitted with an aftermarket screen Got up the next morning and it was lying on its side. Think the wind had got behind it and the fairing acted like a sail, unless some scumbag pushed it over I like the way you are not afraid to experiment, unfortunately wasting money is common with most bikes as there is no guarantee you will get on with what you bought! Been there many times but it is worth it to get what you want, cheaper than swapping bikes Keep doing what you do
I also find it a little bigger than what I wanted. I think the chrome finish also makes it appear bigger. It doesn't appear as big on other bikes I've seen with the same cover but in a darker color.
Your headlight ring is screaming to have the inner part painted black and the outer ring left gold to mimic the tank stripe. IMO I have a virgin Mr. Clean fuel tank on a filing cabinet in my mancave as an industrial art piece.
I was thinking about the same thing! Have you had the option to check out MK designs Mr. Clean headlight fairing which comes with vinyl wrapped? Just curious
Yes, I looked at MK Designs but their headlight fairings for the 650's are bigger than what I wanted, it extends the headlight forward (I like the small headlight cover they have for the RE Hunter.)

I think the larger cowls looks so cool! Gives it a vintage racing feel.

I think this style will be around for a long time. And there will always be used models can can buy for cheaper.
Yes you re right, just that nothing comes close to mr. Clean

I think the finish and pattern look great. Personally for me its too big for the bike.

Hey Jerry! I’m looking into one of these for my Ventura Blue GT 650, but I wanted to ask how well this combats wind at higher speeds?
I had the short fly screen on before this and I haven't noticed a difference. If there is a change, I don't think it's much.
How did you fix the camera on ur bike?? Any details about it?

How dare you not want Gold ! Lol
"That's gold, Jerry! Gold!"
