I read something about Atmosphere no longer working with "regular" sigpatches? Something about KIP something. I don't know what any of it means. Last time I updated from like 16 to 17, all I did was copy the hekate files, the atmosphere files, the sigpatches files, and then update the switch thru daybreak (also by copying the update files first). But now I read something like sigpatches need to be installed with something else? Sys-patch I believe. I don't wanna update and find I can't play anything else. Thanks!
Sigpatches are included in the package. You don't have to worry about that. Just follow the steps.
I'm currently on 16.0.3 AMS 1.5.4 E. Can I just follow this tutorial or do I have to do anything before?

Thanks. I watch the guide in the link you sent. Wanted to know if after I update if I can just replace the files on the SD card with the new files, instead of doing the procedure from scratch i.e. the formatring of the SD card. You see I have alot of games installed and it will be very time consuming to reinstall.
Be patient, I'll make a tutorial for the update so you don't have to format the sd card. It will be on the channel tomorrow.

can i also use this tutorial on my switch lite because i accidentally updated my sysmmc to 18.0 now it won't boot except the emummc is still boot perfectly fine (the ofw boots perfectly fine too but on 18.0 ) the sysmmc is just unbootable and shows (unknown pkg1 version HOS version not supported) i need help :((
Yes,just follow the steps.
The only difference is that you have to put hekate.bin on the sd card and rename it to payload.bin

Maybe you need to find a new version of the app that works on the new atmosphere.

Yes but you have to update payload.bin on sd card

Yes, everything works fine if you do it this way. The package has everything you need (hekate, atmosphere, sigpatches)
How about Tutorial for Switch with Chip modded? My Switch has a Chip Modde..
The procedure is the same. The only difference is that you need to update payload.bin (hekate), which is located on the sd card.Rename the hekate.bin you downloaded to payload.bin and replace it with the one on the sd card.

Trying to update emuMMC through daybreak? As far as I remember, that error is received when there is not enough space on the system partition.

Go to bootloader/res and delete background.bmp
When I download the download from the description it’s not a zip file
Maybe your browser automatically extracts the files. Anyway, you only need the atmosphere and bootloader folders from that package.
Should i use tinfoil with sysmmc or emummc for games
