Hey, it was helpful and informative video, i would like to add some important point here which might not be known to some students,
I currently also in the same process of APS i registered on 27th November, and one week ago(11th JAN) i asked my college professor to mail them to verify my details and marksheets (as i was concerned about my APS getting late)
Today 16th JAN i received a call for verification where they asked me for my student portal if i have any on my college website, (which i didn't) , later i mentioned professor has mailed already for my verification to APS Mail ID,
they said we haven't received any mail, and the problem was mail size, the mail size should be within 1MB in total or else they wont receive any mail from your professor . Please keep this in mind. But no need to worry they will ask you to send mail from another professors email. (And your professor's mail id should end with .edu.in) only educational mails are allowed, rest mails they will reject opening. I experienced this today so i thought to mention and share if anyone is not knowing this.

Sent documents on 10 April reach to Delhi on 13 April... Got call from Aps office on 20 April for primary verification & on 29 April got call for final verification on 30 April got mail to inform me my verification is done & I will get my Aps within few hours...on 3 May I received aps certificate.

Paid an online payment on March 6th, 2024, sent my scanned color copies of documents and reached out to Delhi on 12th March, got verification mail on 30th April ( they sent it to the college but they didn't respond to it ), may 10th APS mailed me regarding this, I contacted my college and they responded and replied to verification on May 11th and I reply mailed them with the login credentials of my college portal, I didn't get any call from them, got APS clearance mail on May 13th morning and got my APS certificate on May 13th evening....Thankyou :)

I applied for the APS certificate on April 1, 2024. Sent the documents: April 2. Documents reached APS Delhi: April 4. Received APS certificate on May 15, 2024.

One tip is add a sheet explaining how to log in to ur university portal and verify details, give ur professors .edu id. That should do.

you can apply with 7 sem marksheets. that doesnt make any difference in speed of processing

I Applied APS on 24th Jan and they received my docs on 31st Jan and on 12th Feb I got my APS.

I have applied for my APS around feb 2024 but still I haven't received any mails or calls from APS. Its already been more than 7 weeks. What should I do? What is the current APS timeline? I am trying to register the bank account for APS certificate for germany. The bank is asking for the type of account (savings or current). Can you please tell me what I have to select
i havent given my professors email id and number because there arent any. all of them are not working there and also they are not provided with official email id . I hope this will not delay my certification.. please comment if you have on any info on this matter
Even I was in the same situation, but I had to give the professor’s email id with institution domain. Therefore I went and spoke to my HoD everything about APS directly even though she didn’t know me nor taught any subjects for me during engineering. Told her that she would be contacted for verification. She agreed. But, luckily she wasn’t contacted and instead they verified all my docs through DigiLocker.

because the digital signature of this pdf can't show when we printed as a hard copy or black and white paper, so its accepted by embassy ?

I have completed my bachelors on 2021 and after that In did my masters but my masters is not complete as I have a re-appear in my 4th semester and I only have my 3 semesters mark-sheets for my masters with me. Now I want to apply for my second masters in Germany 2024 intake but I don't know if I should apply for apply based on my bachelors degree which is completed or shall In also add my 3 mark-sheets of my masters along? Hi recieved my aps certificate verified it using digiseal however I don't see any changes in the seal of the certificate isn't it supposed to change a bit after verification like in adhaar u get a tick mark after u verify but my aps certificate just looked the same and the status said verified successfully . Is it supposed to look the same after verifying it at digi seal/ adobe?

I would like to know if it's still possible to apply for the APS program for the winter intake.
Also, I would like to know if it's mandatory to submit English proficiency exam results, such as IELTS, when applying for the APS certificate.
In case IELTS is required, I am planning to take the exam on March 16th. After receiving my results, I plan to apply for the APS program at the end of March. Is it advisable to apply for the APS program without the IELTS results or should I wait until I receive them?
IELTS/TOEFL isn’t mandatory, you can refer the FAQs in APS website.

Hello, Everything you need to give is in colour copy. Do not sign any documents from your end; sign your Passport and Adhar card. I applied for my APS on the 24th of January 2024 and received my APS certificate on the 12th of February 2024. One thing I noticed is that your university must reply to APS ASAP. Most importantly, do not send original documents; only send color printouts of good quality, like bond paper. I sent my documents through speed post. No don't mention Digi locker, Yes mail must be from college email ID domain.

you can apply for APS if you've decided to do masters in Germany, while process is happening you can shortlist the universities meanwhile.
My professor responded to their email for verification on 2nd DEC but I received a mail from APS that "As per the verification process we have already send an email to the college or University but we have not received any response let.
So Kindly contact to your college to respond our verification mail or share us the professors email id or student login id and password." on 15th Dec.
So I asked my professor to reply once again and she did.
I received the mail from APS again saying that they not received any response.
What do I do now?
Can we apply using provisional marks sheet and provisional degree? Also some colleges accept MOI(medium of Instruction) as English proficiency proof but is IELTS mandatory for getting a german visa ??
1. we can submit provisional degree certificate(it should not be older than 1 year), with all 8 semester marksheets
2. MOI is asked by few universities to understand that your medium of instruction was English during your study and sometimes they may consider only MOI instead of IELTS/TOEFL but for getting a German visa you have to show the proof of English proficiency through these tests.

Not really, just check if your college is ugc certified or not and if it is you can apply for aps

I applied on 29 dec and got aps on 31 jan 2024...i didnt have any digilocker btw
From the time of payment until receiving the completion verification email, the process took place within the period of November 28th, 2023, to January 25th, 2024. Despite the procedure remaining unchanged, APS confirmed the completion of verification and mentioned that it would only take a few hours to receive the digital certificate. However, it has been four days since then, and I have not received any communication from APS via email.
please check spam folder or whether you've given your correct, in-use email ID and please write to them as well regarding this.
@@BAMEChiragpI believe it took 5 days from the day i emailed them last. The university verification actually took 20 days to get verified since the university does not have Digilocker, causing a slight delay. I sent over 5 mails about this and vice versa.

Please write to the APS support team mentioning about the error. Later, if you didn't get any update, keep sending the follow up mails.
You can edit the application and resend the documents.

In APS website’s FAQ, it says not compulsory but it’s always better to send IELTS/TOEFL SCORE.

1) I am in my 8th sem and still haven't been admitted into any German university yet. Should I apply for the APS?
2) As it is mentioned you need to give the email of a professor. So is this email of my current professors or would it be the email of the professors of the university I will be applying to?
1. APS is mandatory for applying for masters in Germany
2. email ID of the professor of your department of your current university. Additionally that email should contain the university domain i.e., .edu.in
