Basically expecting Indian life in abroad. I don't think any country will offer that other than India. Canada/Aus are not economic powerhouse. Its either US/UK/Germany where there are enough job opportunities. We are leaving entire community/roots back in India only to search elsewhere. One cant find their roots anywhere other than India. We should earn money, accept others culture and get back if there is a homesick mindset.
No, I have not come across any Indian 'expecting Indian life abroad'. Most are able to adjust to life abroad. But getting a job can be difficult for many Indians. Self employment, such as opening a corner store has its dangers. Indian shop owners in many Western countries have been attacked and some killed. Life can be difficult. Every Indian NRI must weigh the benefits and costs of living abroad as compared to living in India. Superficial comforts versus long term social mobility should also in the weighing scale. Indian culture is diluted in India itself, more so abroad.
Very very correctly said....and talking about embracing other cultures....I have seen more Germans happily accepting Indian traditions & foods rather than an Indian wholeheartedly embracing the culture or the traditional food of a country like Germany or France. If we don't respect someone, should never expect the same from anybody else!
Nice video. But in India, u will find 10000s of youth more Educated & smarter, hardworking than u, struggling to find a job worth Rs. 15-20k p.m. Pls get real. U gtg salary becoz no one is replacing u thr. Here ppl r terminated replaced on daily basis & fight is to get daily food.
Couldn't be more true! Moreover, in India, low end jobs are in bulk & high end jobs are very very very limited! So, most people, despite their hard work, talent, degree etc are forced to work low end and almost always back end jobs compared to foreigners with much lesser qualifications & skills. The best & most interesting parts of a project always goes to the foreign based team. Indians are used as "donkeys" to implement the so called "great" ideas thought by the foreign based team or sometimes just to do customer support to the foreign developed product.
1. very responsible society 2. silent society 3. focus on peace 4. fresh air 5. people with a voice 6. low crime 7. low corruption I think I am in love with Germany
Low crime??? Good joke! Germany is filled with Kurdish , Turkish and other people from Syria, Morocco etc! Just because of these people crime rate has increased at such a tremendous rate. Germany is not Germany like earlier. Germany is filled with these psychos! No one says anything to them. The reality is something else brother.
I would love to share about my 27 year-journey and share my experience. After completing my B.A. degree in Economics at the University of Mumbai, I came to Germany to pursue my post-grad in Economics at a German University in Stuttgart. One of the pre-requisites to study at the German Uni was to pass two written DSH exams and appear for an oral exam at the Uni, for which I attended a 6-month German language intensive preparatory course. As a young Indian woman and alone back then, I was homesick, struggled with passing my exams for the degree which was all in GErman. German Unis back then had no English degree courses. Coming from Mumbai, from a rather open-minded middle class family, I really felt I entered a parochial place. Since, it was my sole decision to come to Germany and against my parents decision who wanted me to go either to the UK or to Canada where we had relatives, I went against my parents wishes and came to Germany to pursue my further studies. Hence, I could not tell them of my hardships and struggles. I had three jobs during the semester Ferien to finance myself. till I finally got a chance to do an internship at Siemens in Munich by the 3rd year in Germany. I left my post-grad degree after 2.5 years because I found it tough to do it in German and took up Siemens and thereafter kick started my career at a global asset management firm based in Munich. By then German improved but still found everything so difficult. I worked hard and at times harder than my German colleagues who then started getting envious with my achievement especially on intl. projects. My German colleagues gave me a tough time and especially German woman. By my 8th year, I got my permanent residency and in 2004, I met my husband. We got married in 2007 and then came my children who are teenagers today. I have to say then even after 27 years, as an Indian woman but today with a husband (who understands me and knows everything) and children, I still find it hard to gel with Germans. They lack social, emotional skills. It is soooo tough to raise kids bilingually and interculturally here and is met with alot of compromises. As for my fancy asset management career, I had to give it up because my German colleagues somehow felt insecure and threatened. It is very German to blame their economic distress on foreigners. I like Germany and my kids and husbands are born here and consider Germany their home, but I do not. And upto date still hold the Indian passport. I now am completing my masters, that I could not finish back then due to the language, at the Technical University of Munich. There is so much more to share, but I never advice Indians to come to Germany, because it is a painstaking and tough journey. Enjoyed your video Shraddha and I wish you both best of luck. Canada or any english speaking country is the best option atleast for Indians and Asians.
Part 2: and another issue with the Germans is that they are very envious and suspicious especially towards foreigners. That is what I experienced at work and even in my social network. They do not like to hear that you as a foreigner can be successful. Today, my husband and I come under the category as high-income earners and we never share our success with them. Happiness is also something they do not like you to show. In fact the more you grumble on itty gritty things like them, the more they relate to you and accept you. In a way it is a sick society. And with that comes several great sides. For example their attitude toward the envirnoment (which at times could go overboard), their love for nature and the beautiful landscapes that they have. Their school education which I never liked exactly because of the reasons Shraddha pointed out. However, we have put our kids at the Waldorf where they do not get seperated in grade 5, but only after grade 10. The waldorf is till grade 13 and the quote of children there finishing off with an arbitur examination is high. Both my children have blosoomed there and are seen as potential gymnasial children now itself.
Thank you for sharing. What is a "gymnasial" kid? The hardships you mention are what any immigrant goes through to adjust to new environment and culture. Current immigrants face lot lesser hardships than prior ones. Your kids and subsequent generations will eventually be fully integrated Germans that they will find it challenging to immigrate to other countries. Seems like you are comfortable and wish you finding that inner happiness.
i have lived in Germany in Dingolfing 6 yrs and say that if you want to have a smooth life then its good, otherwise this is not the place for making money.
All Indians making videos why should leave Canada, Australia, Germany, usa . Etc. But no 1 have dare 2 video why leaving india is better. Btw i ❤ india but i hope moving abroad has good global opportunities than india .
Canada also now not worth to move.no one tells the truth.experienced person also not getting job in Canada..Students are really suffering to get a part time job
Good question: My opinion here is that people who go abroad are not always going with the thought of leaving India but some are actually going for opportunities outside. I believe every Indian should be able to study or spend some time abroad because it opens up your mental horizon. Ofcourse, india has issues and so other countries do. In the end it matters what’s your goal in life. You can have a pretty decent life in India and save a lot and build wealth while in Europe you can have a good quality of life but cannot build a lot of wealth. So, it’s a personal choice
Recently i went to Poland, i stayed there for more than 3 months applied for blue card.. But after going through detail, I came back in India last week and will not go back again.. it's actually a downfall of Eu I realised...
hahaha. Hey Shraddha, I came to Germany just a week ago. The reason I resonate most is with this country is literally silent. The other day I was talking to a friend over a phone call and after some minutes I just realized that I was the only one on the street who was making sound. Everyone else were silent with earbuds/headphones on. I was so intimidated and also notices that they are starring at me with a not so happy look. That was hell of an experience. I can not think of living silent like someone has muted you. It is horrible. Then yeah, Internet sucks. Food is just to survive if you don't have time to cook. The omnipresent food here is bread I see, xD. 7 days in this country and I already started thinking about visiting India asap. hahah.
I can tell you that all that yelling of people from countries where they consider yelling a joy is very stressful for Germans and similar places. I wonder if Indians still believe in their own heritage because westerners visit silence retreats and monastries for meditation in India among others. Do those even still exist? 🤔

Did you just say Money can't buy good unadulterated food? do you get Bio Products for free from Rewe or Edeka? :) Or even normal products for free? and stress free education for kids (primary schooling to senior secondary schooling), which is not even upto international standards and neither are the classes as effective as International Schools in other countries. and for good schools, you might have to go to Private Schools, which COSTS MONEY. so I don''t know if you"re getting Quality stuff in Germany for free. :). Work life balance is the only point you have correct.
Thanks for sharing this amazing video. When I came down to the UK, I faced some initial hiccups. Learning the local language/ dialect is very important. Well now I am fluent in Scottish Gaelic even though it's not required here. But when locals hear me interact in Gaelic esp. with the older gen. people their expressions are priceless. Racism is a reality everywhere, it might be less somewhere, but it still exists. In countries like Germany, it's in massive levels. Anyways, when we move out of India, we have to adapt to it.
Apart from East Germany (and from nightclub bouncers who deny you entry lol), I've never heard of counts of racism in Germany. Been living there for 10 years.

In December last, one of my relatives shifted from Germany to Canada as he found it hard to adjust to the life in Germany despite living there for more than 3 years.
I left Germany last year because of following reasons; 1. Medical is not fast and that good, for simple blood test report takes a week and my wife needed a scan and we got an appointment after 7 months so we came to India and got that scan in 2 days and scan results in 15 days. 2. Parents can’t move as dependent visa.
I lasted in the US for 12 years.bwent to EU thinking that it would be amazing, but lasted there for 3 months. I was in Austria. Maha bekar jageh hai EU. What these guys are saying is exactly correct. Their tech is archaic, no digital payments, still get physical mail for many things, phaltu ke "rules", unnecessarily expensive(matlab BC paani 3 euros ka hai...matkab kaiko?). This is on top of the fact that all those countries are depressing due to the lack of people. Not to mention that the people you might come across are sort of or fully racist, trust me, they don't want brown people there. And their taxes are just unbelievable high(although in India also the taxes are high 30% income tax + 18% gst). Tau matlab waise India mein bhi 48% tax hai. Lakin at least we can afford a lot of things here, such as house help. Don't underestimate the convenience factor India provides. It's unparalleled to anything extra that any Western country might be able to provide. Bhaiyo aur behno, India mein raho, mazet se raho. Absolute crap ho chuke hai western countries and EU by far takes the cake of being the worst
If India had jobs, everyone would love to stay here and help to develop this nation, but this is not the case, forget jobs, students can't even work part-time, there is no concept of minimal wage here.
You didn’t mention the waiting time for a doctors appointment is 3months minimum & medical facilities in India are way better than what they have here. Most parents are leaving Germany because they split the children into different schools by the age of 6, then the child’s future is based on that, people who don’t study in a gymnasium, have a very different attitude to life, they are more restless and if they are in leadership position they are very insecure of people who are more educated than them. German classes in companies are handed out like a glass of water. The Germans do speak in English but refuse to do so, the only reason they want skilled workers from other countries is because their current population won’t be able to pay the pension of the future generations. They lack a global mindset…..
Germany has one of the best healthcare, far better than India. You are probably rich in India, that is why you can afford it. Live in a remote area, you won't find a doctor tens of kilometers away. Forget getting operated. About school, you can be whatever you want. It is easy to switch from your path even after choosing one.
@@major_tom14 comparing Indian and German landmass is illogical. Rich or poor in India you will have to wait a week in the worst case scenario. I don’t know what part of india you have visited, but the india I belong to I have never been miss diagnosed and there is no preference for private and public insurance in India…. If you have insurance well and good if not pay from your pocket…as far as remote areas that you speak of the same can be said for remote villages in Germany….Thank you for calling me rich perhaps it gets manifested soon 😊 True one can be whatever they want, but there is something called quality of education. Living example Indians are able to adapt and work anywhere in the world.Any way to each his own, we all have different priorities and perspectives of life and that’s cool !
@@astrid713 Lol, Germany has 4 times more doctors per capita and more than 10 times the ICU beds per capita. How can India has easier access? The video overblows the private vs public insurance thing. 89% of German residents are on public health insurance. And no, doesn't matter how remote you live in Germany, doctors are accessible. It is completely not true that Indians are able to adapt anywhere but others are not. About being rich, if you earn 25,000 rupees a month, you are already in top 10%:
Hi all together, it seems like I am the only german guy, who comments the video. Which is not a wonder because speaking Hindi is not common in Germany. Sorry. So I cant' understand the whole video, only the english sentences. But I can read the comments. First I have to say, that I never visited India, but Sri Lanka. And Bali once. Only for a vacation. But like in the most comments I had a cultural shock too. Life in India and Germany is different. Definitely. But that is like it is. If you want to live in another country, try to inform yourself about culture, social life, food, rules etc. Perhaps I can help? Racism: Yes, there is racism in Germany, but isn't that part of many countrys, even in India? Which is sad but not only a german problem. It doesn't make it better but less an origin german problem. Salary: Salary is not the highest in Europe but the economists would say, that it is too high. It is a question of perspective. Taxes: We have high taxes, yes. With these taxes and other payments to the government we pay the police, the military, the schools (which are free), the help for poor people (nearly nobody needs to sleep outside, exept he is not able or willing to articulate his needs because of personal problems), the university, the streets, the hospitals, the retirement saleries, enviromental enhancements etc. All these things are the reason, why I pay my taxes with proud. Nearly nobody has to pay 45 percent income Tax because for the first thousands you pay nothing, for the next tousands you pay a little bit more etc etc. At the end you pay less than that. If you are earn so much money that you are in the highest Tax group, you are very lucky because you are really rich. The language: It is absolutely necessary to speak german. We are not an english speaking country but most of the younger people are able to speak that. But normally we use it in our holydays, not with our colleages. There might be some companys, where this is possible but that is not standard. Try to speak german, try to talk to other people as much as possible, don't be to sad if your german counterpart isn't very friendly. That seems to be a special feature of our language. And we are really focused on our life, family (parents, kids, grandparents, but not necessarily more than that) and job. It isn't common to visit other people (even friends) without any previous phonecall. It makes it obviously difficult for foreign people to be part of our society. Sorry for that. Digitalization: Yes, we should be better. Food: I love indian food! But I know many Germans, who wouldn't eat it. Our food was historically not very diverse. The klimate didn't gave us the possibility to grow a a huge amount of different spices, fruits etc. But we have bread, sausages and potatoes. And we are the "Krauts" so we have cabbage. But it changed during the last 30 years. Rules: Yes we have rules. Parents: Do we give our parents to an retirement home? YES OF COURSE. If they start to do silly things, off with them! Nonsens... We have that facilities and it is very helpful, if your parents are getting demetia or having cancer during the last weeks of their live. If you don't have a huge amount of sibelings you are thankful for that. All in all Germany is a country with many faults but I love to live here. Peace, Secureness, the liberty not to be like anyone else if you don't like (for example religion/believing, sexual orientation), the long days in summer, the central heating in winter, the waste separation;-), I like that...But I was born here, so it is easy...
Liked your honest comment. I can recall my experiences in Germany at 2021. But Germany really needs to focus on housing, getting Keta place, auslander when country decided to take lot of expats.
You have a lot of good points there, Ulf, but I disagree on the "secure" statement. There is a lot going on in the cities (outside not so much). I walk a lot for health reasons but I have life threatening encounters quite often these days. Some days it appears that mental asylums and prisons released their worst cases...
We are in Spain, and Europe is far far better than India . Social security, peace, life safety..and a lot ... Thanks to God ..plz don't talk negatively ...
Apka last point culture wala toh Pointless hai… India mei Culture kaha hai? yaha Teenager drink smoke ..Rash car drive road accidents mei involved hote hai.. Young people dont stay with families..Culture just for show purpose.. Real culture is gone. its just a formality sake.
Ap bahar ja ke dekhoge udhar teenagers ka aur drugs addiction next level hai, raat raat sadak pe pade rehte hain...parents b struct nahi ho sakte wahan....teenage pregnancy udhar bahut high hai...
So my honest question to Shraddha.... Would you really leave Germany citing these reasons which everyone knows through Internet before even landing in Germany?? I have traveled to Germany many times due to work and living in Dubai i have understood that somethings money just can't buy. The sense of fulfillment u get in a place like Germany is the reason people say "why people r leaving Germany" but actually in real life hardly someone do it!! Anyways cheers to your life and I know very well u guys will be staying there for a really really long time(may be whole life!)

Hello !! I randomly stumbled upon your video and found it as just another rant video with no concrete base. Your entire discussion can be summarized as - you want India, outside India. You want a perfect country without single efforts from your end. Do you get a life partner with a checklist in your hand? You have to adjust to get the relationship going. Whatever parameters you have taken, consider them in India and stay back. No one forced you to move to Germany or any other foreign country. When you purchase a product, you do some due diligence, right? so, when you are moving to an entire different culture, why dont you do due diligence? If you dont like the high taxes, stay back. If you dont want to learn a new language, stay back. If you dont want to explore new food, stay back. If you dont want to be self-dependent, stay back. If you dont like the infrastructure, stay back. But no - you will move to another country and then start praising the country that you left. And here "you" refers to anyone who has moved to a foreign country and finds India to be better.
An upper middle class person living in Bombay / Poona / Bangalore is wealthier that NewYork / London / Berlin. I am telling this from my own exoeriance.
For average Indians who want to do higher studies, Germany is the best option as the Fee is totally free. Only condition is that you have to be fluent in German language. This is not a big problem as cosching is available in India also in Germany. After completing any PG, there is good opportunity for a job but in India nobody get job immrdiately after completing studies. Being less populated Germany is good for Indians.
@@andyfaizan Hi. Is it really true that higher studies option is good in Germany as the fees is really less. If yes then how much would it cost me to get a MS in Germany?
The last one is important and very valid point and why no one even me is not wanting to settle here. Germany is only good for masters studies and then it is better to move to US. Also, I have had several conversations with people staying here working more than 4 years and they couldn't even afford to buy own house or appartment. So, next valid point is, earning so less because there is a significant differenece between the gross and net income of an individual, which doesn't allow even to buy an appartment here. So, I don't find it really beneficial to live here, I mean puri life apni ghiswake and then not earning even what you deserve is not something desirable. Not earning enough to even buy a house! Also, to add on, because of language barrier Germans don't promote Indians to a higher position in management. I mean to say, they themselves believe that we immigrants going to leave their country and treat us as a temporary employer. Don't promote or give hike in salary. Salary hike is still expected when one switch company otherwise there is I don't know negligible chances.
Hindi should be made the national language of Germany and free houses for everyone. 😂. They tax you to provide "free" Healthcare, education, best roads and public transportation, unemployment benefits etc... Many are used to 10-15% or more pay rises in India but that is not the reality. Wages are tied to inflation rate. If one wants to earn more they are expected to to take on greater responsibilities at work, which means one has to be excellent and that includes communication skills in German. Hustling may work at lower levels but not at higher levels, typically in a corporation.
This is just a senseless thinking!!!! Where you can buy house by working few months ? If you can speak good german language then you will be definitely promoted!!

As a naturalised German national of Indian origin (currently working in Banking sector in Luxembourg), imho these are the major reasons: 1. Racism racism racism 2. Obsession with language to the extent of using it as a tool in racism (e.g. rampant housing discrimination, where language plays no role. Or discirmination of second generations born and raised in Germany. Even their German are apparently not good enough, while Germans continue to migrate to different corner of the world with their rudimentary English) 3. Ausbildung based labour market which gives low focus on academic attainment 4. Relatively low salary 5. Sky high taxes and social welfare contribution, to fund German pensioners and mass migrants 6. Favouritism for white migrants like Eastern Europeans, even white Middle Easterners.

Exactly the same applies the other way around. When a German goes to live/work in India, he/she also has to learn the language, look for housing and a job and he/she is also seen as a foreigner and everything will be advertised as more expensive. Everything has its pros and cons and the grass is not greener elsewhere.🙏🏼
Work life balance is a myth. Yes your work will end in 8 hours but then in terms of life, you will end up doing all the household work so forget Netflix and chill and you will do badtan and cleaning.
Lol, don't understand which people are watching this video.. 😂 Dude, in India do you have hundreds of servants for each house work, are you from the Mughals family..? 😂😂 Wherever you go abroad you have to do all your chores by yourself, doesn't matter if it's Germany/US/Canada
I am German and had an Indian family renting my flat. They also went back to India and left my flat in a smelly and dirty state. What's more, after their return I was constantly receiving letters about unpaid bills. Besides my experiences with Indian scammers calling me and claiming to work for Microsoft, this was my second experience with Indians. My neighbours weren't happy either because the smoke alarm went off in my flat and all the residents had to leave for fear that a fire had broken out. We just don't fit together. Indians are used to dirt and noise. We appreciate cleanliness and peace and quiet. These are two different worlds.

Making friends in Germany is not very easy. In general, people like to stay in their private sphere. They conveniently open up for work or business, but then retreat back to their private comfort zone. There is not a lot of room for spontaneous plans, letting it go, talking about personal things without feeling weird.
Yes shradhha you may be right in that sense they lag in digitization, but frankly speaking they could have mindset that by not choosing digitization, they are providing jobs to those peoples having less skills or education. See digitization is helpful but devices which we use here certainly not indian made. Might be they don't want to relay on the system of the other countries as economics is the backbone of survival of any country. BTW, thnx for info. 👍
Apply the Purchasing Power Parity factor of 3 times Germany vs India and you will notice that an average upper middle class person in Bombay / Poona / Bangalore is much well off and richer than Berlin
Everything is true - I am fed up of this place under 1 month and miss my family and everything back home. 1) You can't make any friends so easily 2) Work Life balance is a myth(and not flexible at all) as you have to complete the entire 9 hours everyday and add 1 hour to travel time to and from office is you use public transport so you. My WLB was much better in India 3) Of-course everything is expensive so don't compare with India 4) Language is not a big problem if you know day-to-day works 5) There is a lot of silence around which is good 6) If you are already well settled in India with Kids and Family - try not to convince yourself that outside is better specially Germany which is not. 7) If you are young and coming for education and then want to settle here - then it may work for you Only thing that is making me stay here is "My Work is extremely rare and very unique and I get paid a lot" - but not more than 1 year. I made a mistake at 36 and will correct it very soon !! India is way better in all terms - Money, Life, Food, Friends, Family, Opportunities except pollution and population and its problems and if you ignore these then stay at home.

Learning the language of the land you are earning is the least way to show respect for the people who belong there. Hindi in UP, Gujrati in Gujrat etc. Perceptions about the language through English speakers need not be taken very seriously, as German basic grammar are connected to Sanskrit. Learning depends on your seriousness and willingness to do so. Not to forget attitude towards the local culture and people. You are there to live and earn so why not learn their language? I am from Bangalore and I see this lack of openness to learn Kannada from “northies” ( a slang we locals use to denote anyone who doesn’t belong to south India 😅) and the only word they learn the whole time they n BengaLuru is Kannad gothilla. We ignore such people as fellow Indians, who are closed and full of attitudes !! too much of resistance to learn Kannada. And here they are Germans . What else do you expect ? Btw: I have lived in Hamburg for 5 years and learnt only till A1 and managed my conversation with locals through readily available bilingual books. Had to come back to India for personal reasons and completed my B2 level from Goethe Institut. 😊
And this is applicable to a kannadaiga/ kannadathi resisting to learn Marathi, if one has a job in Pune. Not speaking the language of the land, which gives you bread and butter is shameful. An average German tries to get an insight to the language and culture they travel to , even for a short term. That’s a thing one can note to understand respect .
I believe 4-5 more reasons could be added. 1. Domestic help is too costly. You need to do all your house chores by yourself. 2. Cold environment. 3. If you can't cook, you are doomed. Eating outside is too costly. 4. Medical Insurance is too costly. 5. Even after you learn German, it is tough for you to get a good job.

European countries don’t give preference to money that’s why they are safe and secure . There preference is simple life and long life . Slowness keeps things safe and secure . Fast growth and work life balance can’t exist together 😊

Jis country mein money transfer karne ke liye 2-3 din lag jate hain, aur jaha har cheez mein itni paper works hain, uss country koi kyu hi jayega. Life mein zyada paisa kamane se koi khush nhi ho jata. The meaning of success is dependent on individuals. I❤my India.

so guys! i thought i do need to tell others that whatever they say about germans is not that much true especially not in NRW. i have been living here since 2019 and have met soo many germans... what i have found is that germans love their parents. yes it is true that at some point they move out, but that is for their studies. if they live in the same cities, until they have a gf or bf, they stay with their families only. i have so many examples through out germany. they move out but yet they stay somewhere near their parents house and they visit them every week. then about sunday thing, it depends upon person to person. some neighbourhoods are really chilled out. they will not object until it is every sunday or it is intolerable... the thing that i agree with them is taxes, recession, language barrier with the language barrier the biggest evil in the society. you will get invited to parties by your german friends but because you dont speak their language, you will be sitting on the couch by yourselves as people are not very fluent in german language usually... there might be only 1 or 2 who would come and talk to you in english but that will also look like you are punishing them to speak to them in english... so thats the barrier you need to know that it exist. to learn this language, you need to go to classes and till B2.2 you need to attend the german classes. you might need to attend B2 level classes twice. some people get the accent in just half year but some like myself still struggles to understand the words pronounced by the germans... so thats a big problem and combining this problem with family so faar awayt, many indians leave germany. They feel lonely socially and hence they leave germany for singapore or UK or just india
I know right!? Most North Indians I've come across (which is a lot!!!), I've seen them as being either entitled or complaining all the time. They keep telling how their city is better (then why are you here?)
I got to California in 1985. In 1992 I had maid cleaning my home doing dishes ironing my clothes. In 1996 I had my first kid and had full time nanny for both my kids. Trust me I only did bachelor’s degree in India and never used education as my career in business but can only say one thing. I was going around with lots of Blessings from Almighty. Retired at 52 with plenty passive income and travel World. Love India for its culture and values ingrained in my from birth but love USA as it was at least back then land of opportunities. And I migrated my whole family. Patents siblings to USA also in business here. Love California. Place to be.
Germany has no social life and no opportunities like USA. You can still achieve more success in much shorter time in USA. Anyway Germany is more like socialist country. A pattern all over Europe. USA is a capitalist society and you work hard and be successful.
I understand its difficult but India don't give opportunity that's why we have to come to different country all have trouble living India but atlest European county give benefits and job opportunities we have to adjust.
In india too, credit card and debit card pins are sent through post and it takes 2 weeks to receive them. Often times it takes ages. So Germany and india are same with that respect.
I know several of my relatives living in grmany for over 40 years didn't get citizenship. After retirement there they had to buy houses in rural areas though nice rural but can't afford one in city. Then they make some income by renting house rooms, and one comes to india to buy muffler, jackets, towels, handkerchief, gloves, caps ets cheaply and then sell those on foot paths in germany at a little higher price but less than that in Germany to earn some money. So life is struggling not prince ly in Europe.
@@varunmittal3617I think problem is with them.. This the first time I'm hearing story like this. 40 years .can't believe.. Bcoz I knew people who are here for more than 30+ years, they all got PR
They probably didn't work for a minimum period of 8-years. That's the main reason for them not getting the citizenship. Those who have paid taxes and pension scheme (for 8-years) will get citizenship.
Main reasons to leave Deutschland and leaving for India 1.Financial equality in all sectors in industries. 2. Lack of intension to hard work. 3. €70k CTC hone par bhi house-maid nahi rakh sakte b'cause usko 4 lac/month dena padega Jo nahi de sakte 4.Fitness culture apnana nahi chahte. 5.Elite hone ka maan-mardan (ego-hurt) ho jata hai.

Wise words.
Correct bro
Even they Have problem with German Language also. May be this is Hindi Mindset.

And if any Indians would like to get advice on schools etc, let me know.
Absolutely false!

Good question: My opinion here is that people who go abroad are not always going with the thought of leaving India but some are actually going for opportunities outside. I believe every Indian should be able to study or spend some time abroad because it opens up your mental horizon. Ofcourse, india has issues and so other countries do.
Racism:
Yes, there is racism in Germany, but isn't that part of many countrys, even in India? Which is sad but not only a german problem. It doesn't make it better but less an origin german problem.
Salary:
Salary is not the highest in Europe but the economists would say, that it is too high. It is a question of perspective.
Taxes:
We have high taxes, yes.
The language:
It is absolutely necessary to speak german.
Digitalization:
Yes, we should be better.
Food:
I love indian food!
Rules:
Yes we have rules.
Parents:
Do we give our parents to an retirement home?
Wow nice to read a lengthy, genuine opinion from a German about Germany.

You have a lot of good points there, Ulf, but I disagree on the "secure" statement. There is a lot going on in the cities (outside not so much). I walk a lot for health reasons but I have life threatening encounters quite often these days. Some days it appears that mental asylums and prisons released their worst cases...

The racism you face here, is not worth living your country.
What about the pollution and crime? Noise and adulteration?
Pollution is the only problem. If you stay in good society you won't face problem of crime
Because German kids understand, there is no point of having kids in this world. They leave this world early. Salut to them.

Most masters courses are in English. I did mine in English
Where you plan to settle then bro and which domain are you working if you could reflect
Do you expect Germans to learn your language? You HAVE to learn the country‘s language you CHOSE to move to!

As a naturalised German national of Indian origin (currently working in Banking sector in Luxembourg), imho these are the major reasons:
1. Racism racism racism
2. Obsession with language to the extent of using it as a tool in racism (e.g. rampant housing discrimination, where language plays no role. Or discirmination of second generations born and raised in Germany. Even their German are apparently not good enough, while Germans continue to migrate to different corner of the world with their rudimentary English)
3. Ausbildung based labour market which gives low focus on academic attainment
4. Relatively low salary
5. Sky high taxes and social welfare contribution, to fund German pensioners and mass migrants
6. Favouritism for white migrants like Eastern Europeans, even white Middle Easterners.

Exactly the same applies the other way around.

There is not a lot of room for spontaneous plans, letting it go, talking about personal things without feeling weird.

2) Work Life balance is a myth(and not flexible at all) as you have to complete the entire 9 hours everyday and add 1 hour to travel time to and from office is you use public transport so you. My WLB was much better in India
3) Of-course everything is expensive so don't compare with India
4) Language is not a big problem if you know day-to-day works
5) There is a lot of silence around which is good
6) If you are already well settled in India with Kids and Family - try not to convince yourself that outside is better specially Germany which is not.
7) If you are young and coming for education and then want to settle here - then it may work for you

Wouldn't we be able to manage the language with Google translate, in the initial stages at least?
5. Even after you learn German, it is tough for you to get a good job.

so guys! i thought i do need to tell others that whatever they say about germans is not that much true especially not in NRW. i have been living here since 2019 and have met soo many germans... what i have found is that germans love their parents. yes it is true that at some point they move out, but that is for their studies. if they live in the same cities, until they have a gf or bf, they stay with their families only. i have so many examples through out germany. they move out but yet they stay somewhere near their parents house and they visit them every week. then about sunday thing, it depends upon person to person. some neighbourhoods are really chilled out. they will not object until it is every sunday or it is intolerable...
the thing that i agree with them is taxes, recession, language barrier with the language barrier the biggest evil in the society. you will get invited to parties by your german friends but because you dont speak their language, you will be sitting on the couch by yourselves as people are not very fluent in german language usually... there might be only 1 or 2 who would come and talk to you in english but that will also look like you are punishing them to speak to them in english... so thats the barrier you need to know that it exist. to learn this language, you need to go to classes and till B2.2 you need to attend the german classes. you might need to attend B2 level classes twice. some people get the accent in just half year but some like myself still struggles to understand the words pronounced by the germans... so thats a big problem and combining this problem with family so faar awayt, many indians leave germany. They feel lonely socially and hence they leave germany for singapore or UK or just india
For south indians, its always an inbuilt special skill to learn and adapt.
