Because the only way to get S-Ranks in Gens is by the Perfect Clear Bonus (clear the stage without dying). Also Gens has something weird about the Perfect Clear. If you die and retry the level, even if you didn't trigger any checkpoints and go back to the begining you lose the Perfect Bonus. And what's even weirder about that is if you die and manually hit Restart on the Pause Menu when you load back the Perfect Bonus is gone too. You need to quit the stage, go back to the Hub World and enter the stage again to reactivate the Perfect Bonus. If you hit Restart before you die then the Perfect Bonus is still active.
I used endless boost, acceleration and speed up, regarding the jump it should be possible without any problems in the remaster but I don't own it yet so I can't anwser precisely.
The button you use the slide also will make Sonic crouch while grinding. When you release it, he'll do a quick turn and face his body the other way. It doesn't actually increase his grinding speed, but it looks cool.
I still didn't bought the remaster so I'm not 100% sure, but people are saying that og Gens compared to remaster is pretty much the same thing, so I guess it works normally.
@@aymenjbaili Its because m-speed in this game is way harder compared to unleashed, and to make things worse for some reason the PC version (2011) is way much harder than the console ones. You can still pull it off but you need an insane amount of precision or else you'll lose the speed by just slightly moving the left stick. th-cam.com/video/QsC2osnYlmw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MxN_3opRu0uTLOoi
Bruh went so fast the final part of the stage didnt even had a chance of loading in.
that one's for skipping area loading trigger.
They just skipped texture loading trigger
It's super interesting to pull off, right? It's actually super easy to do in Seaside Hill as well.
This is my first time ever seeing anyone get an A rank in generations for completing thr stage in this fashion
I think cause he didn’t get hit or get no rings the perfect clear didn’t activate

"Oh this looks pretty norma- what in the hell?"
This wasn’t as broken as I thought it’d be, the act couldn’t keep up when you bypassed a trigger , but damn you have those air boosts down amazingly
Lore Accurate Sonic
0:50 Didn't know you could run on that damn
2 questions 1: what skills did you use 2: the jump from 0:12 is still possible in the new version

Nice 😮
1:00 Oh, he stopped. That’s a weird move for a speedrun?
One second later: Oh, okay, yep that adds up.
Seriously though, amazing job bro!
How do you switch up your feet on a rail? It looks cool, but i never figured out how to do that

@Lowbarful OH cool thanks. I wish that was told to you, but it's good to know
@@stormcutter59 I saw some people doing it in runs so I started doing it too.
Is infinite boost what everyone is doing now?
depends on stages and strategies but for this kind of run most definitely.
DOPEEEEEEEEEEE!
Is M speed D speed removed from the new remaster

@SilEightyX I see a lot of non m speed runs of gen recently that I thought it was removed in the remaster
I'm glad it isn't the case
You don't have to pay 50$ you can buy a offline steam account for 5$ but you cant play online but how cares about the online@@SilEightyX
